  1. Wait wait wait...the most exciting thing I've seen so far is I think the arcade that is near the ride is the one that had "Metric Skeeball"!!!! "We are playin metric Skee Ball...it says 10 points, but it's really 80"
  2. I really think there are several reasons RCCL hasn't put a ton of water slides on the ship. When we did the Carnival ship with the improved water works big slide and racing slides, no one was up there, and the water was disgusting. The slides also have limited operation hours and require more staff. Seeing these slides won't convince me to book this ship anytime soon. It's cool and everything, but I'd rather just go to a real water park.
  3. It's a very dumb ride. I look forward to watching people scream in pain on it this summer!
  4. ^Yeah, I totally understand that. Hey, if anything it makes me feel better about America...it's good to see this same crap is happening in other countries as well!
  5. ^Please don't be rude, Moose is one of our moderators and knows the poster who said CP is on their bucket list. Remember on the internet you can't always see 'jokes' or 'smiles', it wasn't meant in a malicious manner.
  6. The Road to TGI Fridays Tour was one of my favorite TPR Trips ever! And remember if you ask for a 'pint' of beer, get the large pint!
  7. ^I kind of agree. I'm a fan of WDW, and I lived in FL for a while...but I have no idea what this bird is or why I should buy all of his merchandise!
  8. We'll actually be on our way to Italy for the TPR Italy and Europe Trips. We're looking into visiting California around Thanksgiving though, so maybe we can have a fun get together sometime that week!
  9. Kind of a bummer about the children's play area, I mean, I know the whole place is a children's play area but that was awesome!
  10. The rapids thing is tough, I mean, I see it from both sides. The kids were dumb so the park is trying to stop it, but the park is blaming ALL teens for the actions of a few. Now this 6 pound charge for the front row? I'm very curious, do they send the front out empty if people aren't paying!??!
  11. I really think the reusable bags are the future, there are some areas in California outlawing plastic and parts of Europe have either outlawed them or charged for them for some time. Good for Sea World!
  12. Can't wait to see this in person on a TPR Trip soon!
  13. Perhaps it was trying to undress her and she was avoiding a wardrobe malfunction like what happened to me recently on Formula Rossa?!?!
  14. ^Yes we will open it up and make a TPR Trip out of it. Just remember we have to wait till KT is at least six years old (requirement for the safari's) so you have a little time!
  15. ^We also know that the ships are being built by the same yard that made the Radiance Class ships and not the recent larger Explorer, Freedom, and Oasis Class ships. The Radiance class ships are favorites among cruise enthusiasts and are very nice. I am SUPER excited to see a giant version of a Radiance class ship!!!
  16. ^Didn't you just describe all of his movies? I haven't chimed in too much here, was waiting for Robb to write up our Singapore TR, but Transformers actually made my feel very nauseous. To the point I only rode it one time. I have always had issues with any attraction in '3D' and this one with all the moving and craziness just really messed me up. Just a warning to any of you out there who have a bit of motion sickness to be prepared for this one!
  17. As Wes said you should be fine, but make sure you are there EARLY (before opening) and go to the most popular stuff first. There is no excuse for only getting on three rides in eight hours even at the most busy poor run park out there. If something is going on and it turns out to be busy, then grab a couple of rides first and get a Flash Pass.
  18. ^What do you think TP Stands for? Theft of Penguins!!!!!
  19. I wonder if any of the 'corporations' that showed an interest in the park are some of the big ones from today? To me that seems like a perfect family run 2nd tier park, I don't really see it working well as a corporate park.
  20. ^^Thanks! I'm really thinking we'll go for it, I mean, it's Sea World Camp, that just rules! If anyone else has info, please post!
  21. Good for you going! We still got flack for going in June, but everyone was so happy we were there and there were only minor things that you wouldn't even notice unless you had visited a lot. If I remember correctly they only reopened at the end of April, so you did well with the timing for sure! I'd love to see your Allure pictures!
  22. ^Yeah one of the big changes from Oasis to Allure was replacing the doughnut shop with the hot dog place and the sea food place with Rita's. It worked exactly as they wanted! I seriously don't know if I could ever do Oasis as they improved (and made more Elissa Friendly) so many things on Allure. You learn a lot building the world's largest cruise ship and that pretty much meant that the second would be better. Little things like more outlets in the cabin, food choices, etc. It's another reason we decided NOT to sail on the Disney Dream, but will be doing the Disney Fantasy this Fall instead.
