  1. Bill, I automatically assumed that's where they'd put Potter as well. If there's anything we've learned from Japan it's that this Potter should crap all over any other.
  2. I'm convinced the naming people at Busch are on crack! When I think of the word 'Dive' I think of two things; water and head first. Neither of which will be involved in a desert themed drop tower. I really don't care, I just think it's amusing!
  3. Readers Digest Version... - Nearly identical to the IOA Harry Potter Land (minus existing attractions like Dragons and Unicorn) - Opening in 2014, well ahead of Hollywood Version - Construction to start immediately, no closure of other rides (Phew! Jaws is safe!!!)
  4. KT was really pissed she couldn't ride Storm Runner! And who would blame her? That ride ROCKS!!!
  5. I think we all assumed this would come at some point... From the LA Times: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/entertainmentnewsbuzz/2012/05/harry-potter-heads-to-universal-studios-japan.html
  6. ^Are we sure the only unique part is the face? That does seem to be a bit of a bummer. I guess we may have to wait till Adam buys 3 or 4 to see if he can do different poses with his body.
  7. HAPPY HALLOWEEN BOO TO YOU AND YOU AND YOU!!!!!!
  8. ^^^If it ends up being super crowded you can always buy the express passes. The only suggestion I would have is to move Shamu Express earlier in the day or super late. It can get pretty crowded midday.
  9. Oh man, I've heard horror stories about this resort but this would almost bring me there!!
  10. Did anyone else see the eight inch model thing and go sexual with it? No? Just me? Yeah.
  11. They are going to make a fortune on this. I will sit outside shaking my head in disbelief.
  12. ^Keep in mind that's Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and the park could be quite crowded. Get there super early (before opening) and be ready to run. I would also strongly recommend getting a Qbot (Flashpass) to help your day. Kingda Ka first if it's testing as it can break down. El Toro warms up as the day goes and is FANTASTIC at night. Plenty of chain food, I would stick with that.
  13. This is almost as badly kept a secret as the Rocky Mountain coaster at Silver Dollar City!
  14. I've been allowed to hold my water sandals on almost every ride. If you're not, just leave them at the bottom of the slide.
  15. This definitely falls into the "WTF is wrong with people?!?!" category! From CNN: So does this mean some asshat put drugs in the water?!?! WTF>!?!
  16. Unless you're on Carnival, in which case it's actually spelled: Kruze.
  17. ^LOL! Yeah, just look at the SFMM Thread with all the fanboys defending the place!
  18. So how many parks did you end up hitting in one day!?!?
  19. Is it wrong that I'm very much looking forward to Movie Park Germany?!?!
  20. Oh man, I hadn't actually watched the video till now. Seeing those dummies shake themselves looser and looser through the course of the ride even tied and duct taped down is terrifying!
  21. I love the name of this ride...still horrified to have to go ride it this summer though!
  22. We have this whole DVD! I remember babysitting kids in the 90's and watching this! It's crazy how much the park has changed.
  23. ^Which ship and itinerary are you doing? Timing (date) also matters. Cheaper Ships with shorter itineraries when people are off from work/school are a recipe for disaster. Doing a Carnival Cruise in Europe in September would be fairly decent.
  24. Awesome, thanks for the heads up on some of these out of the way Italy parks!
  25. I love Sesame Place, that drop tower with the tiny kids on it always looks so funny!
