It just seems like such a waste to continue to let it sit there and rot away. I understand taking it out costs a ton of money, but how much has the thing already been written off or depreciated by now? Are all of the lawsuits finally settled?

Something that I don't think has been mentioned yet is that Universal is doing something very wrong with the Qbots. For example on Hulk they would scan your qbot, then make you put it in a locker?!!? WTF?!?! Come on Universal, the Six Flags parks don't even require this. It has a carabiner for a reason!

Like I posted in the CP thread, this is the perfect thing for SFMM to claim and market because they've really picked *xtreme* coasters as their sole focus. And the majority of their clientele will LOVE this news and marketing.

Yeah, it's perfect for Magic to claim this back, especially since all they have is roller coasters! I'm not the biggest fan of either CP or SFMM, but I can agree that CP is the more well rounded park experience.

I think my favorite part of this TR is the apathy shown in the majority of your cast member photos!!! Leaning over, resting on queues, a look of utter despair, etc. So happy to have Qbot in Florida!!!! Long live Qbot and the Qbot Minions!!!!!

On a somewhat related note, I picked up a glass on our last cruise and it fell apart in my hand cutting one of my fingers pretty bad. The bar server looked, said "we don't have band aids here", and walked away! Sometimes they spend so much time training the staff for the worst case everything, that they forget smaller things.

I agree with almost everything that's been posted. Sure it was a good ride, but it didn't have that long of a queue lately and it was rapidly approaching the end of its life. The only bummer here is that it will give SFMM something else to gloat over even though they have no right to!

^^If you notice, those aren't Arabs wearing shorts. If you're doing research on the country you probably know that the actual Emirates people make up less than half of the population of the country. This park will be catering to westerners as well as locals. For example, Wild Wadi offers a women and children only night once a week for women so they can be in bathing suits and not in front of men.
