  1. ^Of course that's what it is, we said that pages ago!
  2. The ship is still in better shape than the Concordia!
  3. Five minutes guys! I'm in chat now, come join me!
  4. ^Like I said, the acting talent in this is on par if not better than the actual Battleship movie!
  5. 90 minutes till show time!!!!
  6. So it's only $200 more to add all of WDW to your pass!?!? Wow, what a deal! Any of you still up for keeping your premium SoCal pass should upgrade and make the trip out here!
  7. ^^Doesn't Darien Lake already have a random old Intamin Coaster sitting in pieces in a field!??! Why give them another to let rot away!?!?!
  8. ^^Actually, I'm pretty sure we did post that here! I never understood how they would have this ride in the USA especially after riding it with a group of 50 enthusiasts back in 2009 and seeing the results!
  9. ^Oh, that could totally be the case...which just better supports my theory of this ride should never have been brought to America!
  10. I'll try to help you a bit off memory... First off, both parks have EXCELLENT English websites so a lot of your transport questions can be answered easily there. Disney will be easier to get to for sure if you're staying in Central Paris. If you're staying by CDG, Asterix is very close by. Nearly everyone at Disney speaks English, they may just not want to, but all signs are in English and it is VERY English friendly. Asterix is much more a 'locals' park so not as much English, but just basic French will be more than fine for a visit. Both Disney Parks in a day is possible, but will be annoying and you'll need a full open to close visit. I would go to Disneyland First (get there before opening) and grab a coaster credit, then run over to Studios for opening (it opens later) and grab Crush and the rest you want to do there before returning back to Disneyland which stays open later. Both parks will be very busy as that is the height of European Summer. Avoid the weekends. Either park would be a full day for sure.
  11. Did anyone answer my question about the crazy Premier Pass for both US Disney Parks? Wondering what that increase is? If it doesn't get a big increase, it would easily pay for a lot of you SoCal Premium people to get that and come visit the Florida parks once a year!
  12. I don't know if it's smart to expect to see Disaster Transport pop up at another park after Cedar Point. There are already rumors of the Great Escape one being scrapped, and I can't think of too many parks that would want one.
  13. ^^No, but I'm fairly certain it will be amazing.
  14. ^And we've addressed this already. 1. The only way to 'Avoid Inversions' is to avoid inversions on the ride so even though they mean inverting the car at the end, it's still the SAME THING! 2. The other parks with ZacSpins don't require maintenance to 'right' a car. They are staffed up to levels where it is easily done by the ops.
  15. When did they REALLY give up on Disaster Transport? I know when we were there last year it didn't even have the audio anymore. I was bummed, until I got to say the line instead and yelled out at Piers "I'm losing control!".
  16. Most of you should know by now how I LOVE bad Sci-Fi!!!! Tonight we should have a pretty awesome premier on the SyFy Channel. It's brought to you by The Asylum. The Asylum only makes amazing quality SyFy movies and ripoffs of current blockbusters! Judging from the reviews of the REAL Battleship movie, most of which liken it to an Asylum movie, we could have a real winner on our hands tonight! So join me in chat tonight (9pm Eastern Time) if you will and we'll check out the awesomeness that is... American Warships! *Oh yeah, did I mention they did actually get sued on this one and had to change the title to American Warships instead of American Battleship!!!!?!?!
  17. As much as it pains me to say it, I totally agree with Joey. He is right on the money. Disney is clearly pricing the passes higher to try and get rid of the "babysitter" effect you see at Knott's and SFMM and were starting to see at Disney. Hopefully it will also get rid of some of the real ASSHOLDERS out there. I do NOT agree that they're product is anywhere near the Tokyo product, but I see the similarities for sure. Was their a price increase for the Premier Both Coasts pass listed? Would love to know what that one is going up to! If anything, this seems like a great opportunity for the other SoCal parks to market their much cheaper passes!
  18. I really like Disaster Transport. I just don't think it works at a park like Cedar Point...kind of like Wildcat, it just doesn't fit with their newer image.
  19. Love the report Chuck! Very cool how fast that line moves!
  20. ^^Can't wait to go back and do another Scandi Trip!!!!
  21. That's a really hard call as they're very different parks. USS has more thrill rides and roller coasters, HKDL is a Disney park with all the charm and characters. I *loved* the whole Sentosa complex and to me that seems like it may be a better way to end your honeymoon as it's basically a tropical island filled with awesome things to do.
  22. I don't know why that many people are smiling. There's nothing to smile about on that ride until it's over and you have somehow survived...then you can smile!
