  1. I totally agree...the money they've spent on this so far they could have done so much else!
  2. We're looking into doing a 'Mini-UK' next year!
  3. I would never go to a big park like SFOT without one! I think you'd be fine with the Gold. Basically the same as Platinum minus the rerides. It's a little device and you select what you want to ride, you could select the same ride over and over all day, or every ride once, whatever you want!
  4. Be at the Studios before 9:30. We got there at 9:30 (after doing early entry stuff over at Disneyland) and the park was already open and the lines were already forming. Crush opened a bit early (Yay!) but we still waited close to 25 minutes for it even before published opening! We then went right to RC Racer and waited about 30 minutes. Single rider line was not very helpful, it was posted about 10 minutes less than whatever the actual wait was during the day. Due to it's four across design there were not a lot of singles needed. We then got a fastpass for Tower which was for 1:10pm (this was around 10:30am). Rock n Roller coaster was already at an hour. Tram Tour didn't open till after lunch due to technical issues. The shows are all done in English/French with some having dedicated show times in each language. FYI - On our next day, they didn't even use Fast Pass at the Studios even with 45min - hour long lines for everything! RC Racer and Crush both got up to 90 minutes. Over at Disneyland they open up fastpass machines during early entry and we saw Thunder and Space sell out around 6-7pm each night. Lines for Thunder and Space were always at an hour or more. Other rides were 45 min or less. Fastpass is strict with return times and yes you only have a 30 min window so plan accordingly. You're going at an insanely busy time. Good luck.
  5. ^Well remember their history, gladiator battles, killing animals for fun, they were always quite gory!
  6. Awesome report Matteo, thanks! Did you happen to see the height restriction?
  7. Can't wait to get back to SFGAd this summer for some more El Toro!!!
  8. ^It is not closed for maintenance. That's just what they tell people. There is a part broken that they have been waiting for to be made. I don't know why it takes so long, but nothing we can really do. Oh darn, guess we'll have to come back!!
  9. I believe that the Boardwalk at Morey's is open year round with some shops/games/food open during that time. You'll be able to get right up to the piers and see coasters, but the piers themselves will most likely be gated to prevent people from walking around. I did some walking around some closed Jersey Shore piers, and they're usually gated so you can get close, but not right to the coasters or anything.
  10. ^I actually really agree with you on everything you've said. Disney will have to maintain the hell out of this to keep it looking so impressive.
  11. ^It's funny you mention those two specifically as my last ride on both of those rides had BOTH of those animatronics broken!!!
  12. I love this ride and don't understand why more weren't sold!?!? I can only imagine it must be some sort of maintenance nightmare or something. Very intrigued to ride some of the 'Version 2.0' ones in China!
  13. I think the Michigan's Adventure riders deserve all the ice cream in the world after riding an SLC for 44 times!!!
  14. I agree we should try to get back on track here and stop the constant WDW vs. DL but didn't Indy have MAJOR issues before it finally went down for a rehab a year or so ago? Also, you have to remember the parks are soooo different. An average WDW visitor isn't going to care if one animatronic is broken because this is their once in a lifetime trip to the park and they don't know any different. The DL Fanboys freak out at the littlest thing and take to the internet to complain. DL also has the luxury of putting their rides up for rehab for longer and more often again due to their clientele.
  15. This coaster also doesn't have a height restriction. The staff was trying to convince me to bring a two year old KT on the ride...I politely declined! So excited to get back to this part of the world! Looks like we'll be making another TPR Trip there in 2014.
  16. There will probably be a popup tent outside the park around the registration/welcome/safety time listed in the park page.
  17. I'm going to humor myself and say that the writer for the attraction is a Yo Gabba Gabba fan!
  18. ^Dumb. Shark Movies > Hockey
