We've been discussing this on the China forum...no we are not going to this park. We also decided that their definition of mini-skirts (I believe it was 38cm long) wasn't really that mini!
I know I've said it several times before but I don't understand how this park...
1. Continues to operate
2. Does not kill patron's on a daily basis
Seriously, look at this picture:
You know the next frame here was quite painful, and they didn't even get the worst of it in our group!
That being said, I love this park and can't wait to go back!
Yeah, I'm not going to argue much, but your argument is flawed...absolutely you can stay at the same hotel and the more expensive rooms mean you get treated better and get better quality stuff at the expense of the cheap rooms. Ever stayed on Concierge Floor? Or a 'Club Level'? Same principle.
^^What pride?!? Come on, I am sick of these "I hate XXX where people with more money get better service". Go move to North Korea then. Everything on the planet has a 'you pay more, you get more'. Hotels, food, transportation, housing, cars, clothes, etc.
Seriously, buy the fast lane and you'll have a better day. Done.
^I totally agree with you, but from what I've heard those Splash Down boats that old Six Flags purchased are very quickly getting to the end of their life and cost a ton of money to maintain and to run (water costs). Hopefully they'll put in something else to cool folks down, as that place gets hotter than the sun.
^We weren't even required to wear our seat belts half the time! I don't think Robb's car ever told him to put it on. My guy had me put it on for all the two-wheelin' stuff.
This was the most terrifying and amazing thing I've pretty much ever done at a theme park!
They pretty much spoke no English, I spoke pretty much no Italian, it was a lot of pointing and "hold here".
Still picking pieces of rubber off of me though.
^Unless Joypolis moved a lot, they could not have taken over the Muscle Park area.
I saw that they are listed on different floors, but it also looked like Legoland spanned a couple of floors so it could have spread perhaps?
We saw that Italy Miniature Park twice while going back and forth between parks in the Rimini area. I could totally see them picking up a Wacky Worm at some point.
FYI - It's now open! Opened last month!
So did we confirm that it went into the old Muscle Park area? I guess I can find out for myself for sure next summer, but I was trying to look at maps of the mall to figure it out but can't quite place it.
Anyways, the Discovery Center looks fun, Dark Ride, 4D movie, tons of play areas and a miniland with all kinds of awesome Japan stuff!
Can't wait to check it out, I'm sure this will serve as a recruitment center for the full fledged legoland!
