I have tried stand up surfing in 'real waves' as well as the flow rider. They are both hard as hell but I much prefer the flow rider as you lack the drowning aspect that actual surfing gives you every time you wipe out! Btw, LOVE the wipe out pic!!!

That SkyLine Luge is incredible!!! That's the one we did in Singapore and was tons of fun, we did it three times on two different courses and I could have easily done it more. Should be a great addition to the park.

FYI - We'll be going to this park on the Japan Tour next year!

Hurricane Harbor has Flash Pass now right? GET IT! That place is scary during the summer. I really worry that you'll have 30 - 60 minute lines for everything. The family raft ride is usually the worst. Try to see how many rafts they're running before you get in line. There aren't any special or stand out slides here. What other water parks have you been to, then I can give you a better idea of what to do.

Oh wow, very cool location for a film shoot! I can only imagine how excited some people must have gotten when they saw everything lit up!

I agree, I thought the park looked much better this year than in 2008 and that TR from earlier in the season was either really trying or they've cleaned up a lot. Monster was awesome, just as good as when it was in Japan which was a very nice surprise. They've also added a ton of kiddie rides around the park and improved food options. I still don't get all the classic car stuff they do? Every time we've been there there's been some sort of car show going on!

^It had some test runs last May and was looking good to reopen, and then went totally dark again. I haven't seen any test runs or heard anything since.

We love the Wingate and have stayed there several times over the years.

LOL! Must be a slow news day. 'Put the riders in quite the predicament'. They had to climb what looks to be about an 8' ladder.

I'm assuming this is partially the reason we haven't heard much about BGT's new drop tower!

^I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure they will substitute another attraction if Mach Tower is down.
