  1. And it's a burden on the parks guests to have to wait in a ridiculous line that shouldn't be that bad.
  2. Glad Abby had some great new 'big' coaster experiences! KT also loved Hershey and Knoebels. She still complains that she misses Phoenix all the time. So what was Abby's favorite of all her new ones?
  3. That Movietown area is downright creepy now. When you have a group event/picnic you have to go past random walls and into these employee only areas and it just seems like a completely dead park. I can't believe that's very good for their group sales/catering business. That area really needs to be opened up again and some rides/attractions put in. It just doesn't fit with the great direction the rest of the park is going to leave it like that.
  4. I don't go to Six Flags for themed areas/rides. Never have never will. I wish they would have taken the money they spent on the 'theming' and put it towards a better/longer ride. A perfect example of this (and has been mentioned before) are the Dark Knight Coasters. We rode it a TON of times at SFGAd, and they let us try with differing levels of theming ranging from full on, work lights, audio off, pitch black, etc. The general consensus was that it was best in pitch black!
  5. A Maurer Spinner would be a great choice for the park, can't wait to see what they announce!
  6. Sea World is closing early today (8/27) due to the weather.
  7. Ugh, I really hope they either get this fast or it turns out not to be true cause it's going to mess with my TPR Mexico Trip planning!!!! Seriously though, would LOVE to see this ride brought back as it was amazing.
  8. FYI - Busch Gardens will be closed tomorrow 8/27 due to the Tropical Storm / Hurricane.
  9. I think you better replace 'rides' with 'coasters'. The park doesn't have rides, that's everyone's number one legitimate complaint about the place. It's purely a roller coaster park. Go to a park like SFGAd, Canada's Wonderland, Cedar Point, etc and see big parks that have different ride experiences.
  10. Oh Garbels...MS Paint and Roller Coasters...I thought we had evolved past this!
  11. Come back about six months prior to your big 2014 trip and we'll all be happy to help.
  12. ^Glad the family had fun, KT *LOVES* that there are now more kids for her to play with in the TPR Family.
  13. ^The US Trips will most likely be offered in July and/or August. Details will be out in October.
  14. Everyone start holding your breath now! I'm SURE this will happen.
  15. After the tests that Royal Caribbean and Celebrity did, they came out and said they would NOT be offering the packages on US based cruises in the near future. The idea of unlimited on a US Based Carnival cruise terrifies me!!!!!
  16. A Typhoon is not a Tsunami. And I've gone before with several blown reactors and I would go again.
  17. Ugh, want to go back NOW!!! It sucks I'll be within 45 miles of the park in a couple of weeks and not be able to go! Not going to lie, wouldn't mind a little typhoon action that strands me in Tokyo for a day or two instead of just my 2 hour connection.
  18. ^^&^ Same! I had no idea they did all that for Dumbo, may have to go check that out! Can you play in that structure without being 'in line' for Dumbo?
  19. ^Creepy...and no, we never would use lifts, tissues, platforms, etc. to boost her height.
  20. ^^I think she'll love that one too, but she may be mad it doesn't have inversions! She really fell in love with Wood Coasters on this trip (and who wouldn't getting to ride Phoenix for the first time!) So now we're in a hard spot because she sees a ton of coasters she wants to ride but she's too short for. 42" is good, but still a good majority she can't do yet.
  21. ^^I saw it at 40min once...it hits 20 quite often. Hey, I've always said I'd rather pay to not wait in any line so if Disney wants to give me a fastpass for a 20 minute line I'll take it!
  22. ^^Um...everything I loved so much at Tutto Gusto seems to be gone!?!?!?!?!!?!? Seriously Disney, don't do this to me. You seriously open a restaurant that I love and has such amazing stuff then three months later completely change it!?!?!?!?
  23. Is your 4 year old adventurous and like rides? If so, Mirabilandia is the obvious choice as they have lower height restrictions for full size coasters as well as several nice kiddie rides. Gardaland has better theming, but Mirabilandia has a ton of rides and shows as well geared for children. KT has visited both parks as a 3 and 5 year old and preferred Mirabilandia.
