  1. Two things... 1. That Windseeker accident sounds scary. Are they all closed right now? Or just the one at CP? 2. Please, Hotel Breakers the worst hotel ever? No. You're exaggerating and being dumb. It's not up to the quality for what you pay, but you're paying for location location location! I can't imagine going to CP and not staying there just for the convenience factor!
  2. I agree with Chuck, pretty sure that is the best photo of Larry ever taken.
  3. LOL to getting two cars towed!!!! Seriously, come on, if you don't know the rules, park them in a garage!!!! And if you're in NYC why the fuck would you go to Dunkin Donuts for a bagel!?!?!?!?
  4. Kristen still talks about the Bee Coaster in Japan and how it's one of her favorites...too bad it's powered and NOT a real credit!!!
  5. ^^We have first ride of the day on it already scheduled for our visit! Has anyone seen a height restriction for the ride yet?
  6. Head out to FujiQ as at least it's local to Tokyo. In the Tokyo area I would also check out Yomiuriland, Tobu Zoo, Yokohama Cosmoworld for sure.
  7. ^As I said...email...stop posting in a thread that is nothing about your problem!
  8. I actually had a dream about this "nothing to see here, no new roller coaster for 2013" coaster the other night...it was very good!
  9. So did the ride reopen? Did they figure out where those pieces of metal came from?
  10. Only cool people stop short on zip lines!
  11. I never had a desire to see this movie, and after reading all of your quotes...I still don't.
  12. This is a hard situation to be hypothetical about. I certainly avoid places that I don't agree with their parent company values (Domino's, Blockbuster, and ChickFilA come to mind) but there are sometimes that you can't really avoid a place due to your own needs or the needs of the people you serve. For example on one of our tours, I may hate or have issue with a certain park/restaurant/hotel/bus company/etc., but I will do what's best for the overall of my group and put my own beliefs aside.
  13. A few interesting things to note. Very interesting to see how the Tokyo parks did due to the earthquake and resulting closure of the park for weeks. Realistically, I believe both parks were closed for several weeks so a 3-5% drop isn't actually that bad! What's going on with Everland in Korea? Such a big drop at both their park and water park? Hadn't heard much about the South Korean economy, but this is certainly interesting. Same with Williamsburg, looks like they had a bad year with both Busch Gardens and Water Country seeing significant drops. Looks like next year Europa has a chance to beat the Disney Studios for a solid 2nd place in Europe! Those of you surprised about Six Flags? Really?
  14. ^This is probably something you should email Robb or post in the ClubTPR Forum. He won't find it buried in this thread.
  15. If you weren't planning on leaving Tokyo it's probably not worth it on this trip. You'll have to buy a somewhat expensive train or plane ticket to get down there and you can't do it as a day trip, so you'll have to overnight.
  16. ^Oh yeah, 10 day non-expiring park hoppers are always available.
  17. I imagine a religious tone at the park would probably go over quite well in this area of the country.
  18. ^Yeah but at least there are a ton of options with Disney so that no one HAS to buy a one or two day park hopper. We consistently bought Non-Expiring 10 Day Park hoppers with 'fun' visits, which basically brought the price down to $45 a day for a park hopping day plus totally free visits to water parks and DisneyQuest. To my knowledge, Universal does not have a comparable non-expiring option like that.
  19. It does seem odd that they'll lose yet another roller coaster and take out a ride with no height restriction. Looks like the Wing Rider is the next Invert...going to see them popping up everywhere now!
  20. ^Oh, I've already arranged that we'll end near Molly's Bakery which had my favorite cupcake of all time, and most of us thought they were the best in the city. They've also won several awards!
  21. I remember seeing that 'wall of doom' weather approaching and being very thankful we were staying on site at Hotel Breakers!
  22. ^Yeah, but my theory is that if the Dania Beach Hurricane people could maintain a woodie in one of the worst climates on Earth, surely Fun Spot can do it!
