Here's a few more pictures from my last two visits including Iron Wolf and X Flight construction pictures. Massacre Medical Centers Facade Whizzer from HTFM Another view of Whizzer I don't often see. Revolutions Fright Fest overlay sign Whizzers Fright Fest overlay sign Thats a bit creepy. The station seems pretty untouched. Top of the lift This is supposed to be a scare zone..I guess. All the GAR cars are still onsite. This old building for GAR seems to be staying for X Flight. Besides those piles of gravel the land is pretty much level. If you look to the right you can see that construction is going right up to Demon. Trailblazer's support still stands. Whizzers final helix with some BioHazard theming Raging Bull towering over SWT X Flight track... ...and a little more. Whoever this was was hypnotized and told to to salute to each trash can for 15 minutes after the show because they'd think it was the president of the moon. Imagine if this was a Cedar Fair park.. And to bring this season's park PTRs to a close, Demons sign at night. Thanks for reading!

Is this coaster, or does it have clones? -
This is a little old so a few of you may have seen it but I feel it still merits a post. Taking a step away from whats coming in the future and looking back at the past, this summer greatamericaparks.com posted a really great video based around the parks two sky rides. It has some really great footage of past rides, including some I had never seen in video before, such as Traffique Jam, Bottoms Up, Hilltopper, Sky Whirl, Tidal Wave, Turn of the Century, kiddie rides in Hometown Square, the third track of Oldfield Speedway, Whirligigs old location, a horrendously long Loggers Run queue, and more. It's a little long, around 14 mins, but definitely one of the best old park videos I've seen providing a great overview of it's past life from both sky rides. ^ Can't wait to see where they go with this.. -
Iron Wolf hasn't really held up X Flights construction, as X Flight isn't going in the same spot. And Iron Wolfs footers are still there, just broken up. X Flight is actually moving along well considering they had to clear the land of the Splash Water Falls leftovers, GAR leftovers, and clear a good chunk of the midway containing an arcade, boats, cars and a caricatures tent, and of course have the project of removing Iron Wolf. They already have some footers poured, and with track already arriving they're moving at a fine pace. And remember, they have an extra two months to build compared to Dollywood since the projected opening day is Memorial Day weekend, (which the park confirmed on Facebook tonight).

^I suppose a lot depends on the speed of the carousel. On slower ones it can be possible to get triples, as shown here. -
^ No, he means like when Thorpe sent out the letter saying, "We wanted our wing rider drop to be unique and now SFGAM is using it, we could be bitter but we wish them the best of luck with the THORPE PARK inversion blah blah blah." Alton Towers could, and likely will send out a release wishing BGW the best of luck with the Alton Towers drop.

Did Intamin ever build a B&M style invert?

Euro Star, was a traveling inverted coaster, now off the circuit and operating at Gorky Park. http://www.rcdb.com/4242.htm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYPLI9Gbiio -

From Six Flags Great Americas Facebook. First off, I'm very much looking forward to Simon Cowell calling me a talent-less idiot on X Factor, and second, I get that he wants old rides to come back, and posts like those aren't necessarily stupid as they're just opinions, but to say all the rides should leave and bring back old, unpopular ones is a bit extreme. -

Definitely agree with the above, really fantastic pictures. KI's haunt looks pretty nice too, no Cedar Fair parks real close to me, but this makes me wanna try one out in the next few years!
