A picture was posted to the village of Gurnee's website revealing the sign, queue, and new theming elements for the helix and first drop. It also looks like the skeeball will be converted into one of the new stores, most likely the leather one. Source

I'm hoping that is just generic concept art as the water park shown in those pictures is very different from what was announced before. If that's what's really built I'd be kinda disappointed since all the unique slides announced before are gone.

If this does not include a human catapult flinging you into towers of green pigs I'll be very disappointed.

I heard that the mat racer was being removed for it, so I asked about it and they said nothing's being removed. I thought it would've gone in the land right next to the pink slide since that has more space then infront of them, so I imagine it'll be a pretty tight fit.

^ They've moved the webcam twice in the past four days, and said they'll continue to move it based on what part is being constructed, so I'm sure we'll get some angles that show the size in the near future.

Iron Sharks layout and POV has been posted. A bit short, but still a layout. The first inversion looks pretty cool, like a SLC kidneybean on sit down.

The webcam has been moved to show a different portion of the construction zone and now shows a nearly completed zero g-roll!

They ran Blue backwards from August 8 to September 17. It stays forward for Fright Fest, the last time it ran backwards all season was 04 or 05 I believe.

And they'd already have to clean the pools anyways because they'd get dirty over the the off season, so it really wouldn't be adding any extra work. And I'm looking at Boomerang Bay from Bing, and they could have a pretty large scare zone in there without even needing to use the pools or lazy river. Just put up some walls to make a big one way circular path.
