Official RCT/RCT2 Help Thread

Still getting the same thing. Right now I'm just trying to add money to start a park, but I tried to do a few other things and nothing would work. -

I have 8cars 1.32, 1.31 and 1.21 and for some reason now whenever I try to use them it just says no process and won't let me down anything. They were working fine a few days ago, so I must've changed something in the game settings that made them stop working. Any ideas? -
^While I don't think someone who is a little over the maximum height couldn't ride, I do think they might find it very uncomfortable. The biggest problem with the ride seems to be that your restraint lowers through out the course and it can pull the straps down on you very hard. I'm short myself so I haven't had too much of a problem with it, but some of my taller friends have had problems with the straps digging down on them which would be incredibly uncomfortable should the ride breakdown. It does at least seem that people are being notified somewhere before the station as I haven't seen anyone get kicked off the ride for being too tall yet.

Amazing water slides
deathbydinn replied to FLIPDUDE's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This new waterslide opening in the UK looks pretty awesome. Bowl slide and tornado all in one! http://www.themeparktourist.com/news/20120710/10023/center-parcs-elveden-forest-names-new-water-ride-tropical-cyclone -
But with how the flash pass, atleast at the lowest level, works you don't know the wait time for when you load. When they reserved the ride it may have had an hour wait, but by the time they actually go to load it could be a walk on. As for people using them on dead days, the person could have already bought it online, or they could be visiting a park for the first and only time and want to make sure they get on everything a lot.

TPR's Ever Evolving Park Index
deathbydinn replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Just a heads up, but the size of the last S:UF @ SFDK picture in the index is, for me atleast, showing up massively and is bigger than my whole screen. http://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/photo.php?pageid=46&linkid=10923 -
Longwood Amusement Park [RCT3]
deathbydinn replied to I305KD's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
The peep doesn't have to be in the park for the cheat to work. So in the future if you do off season updates just open it for a minute, get a peep in, rename it, and then close the park. You'll still be able to get rid of the menus even if they left. As for the park, I really like the look of the Dragon going over the water and it's very classic layout. I would just work a bit on your buildings to add some more variety to them and make them less blocky. -

Wow, great and very in depth trip report. I'm also with you as someone who liked Iron Wolf. I never found it particularly bad, and like Jeremie said weaving through the trees during the second half was great. But it was one of those rides you had to learn to ride, which most people will say is something you should never have to do. Also, it's a bit odd that Viper has a shirt saying "I like it rough," as it's actually very smooth. Hope to see more reports from you soon as you provide a great overview of the park. And BTW, there is one CiCi's in WI, it opened in West Allis in 2010 near the Milwaukee County Zoo. I went to one in Florida, and they are great restaurants. http://cicispizzawestallis.com/ -
^^ Batman in the front?! I mean, it's Batman so it's good anywhere, but the most intense ride is definitely in the back. Unless you are in the park as in standing next to the carousel when they start letting people in, don't go to X Flight first. I've found it's longest lines to be right when the park opens, with much shorter ones at night. My favorite way to end the day is a night ride on X Flight in the back row of the left side in the outside seat. Best seat on the ride IMO.

To add to what MA said, because SFMM is a year round park there will be so many more opportunities to ride it. Sure waiting until July sucks, but it can be ridden in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, and Mar unlike many other new rides in the chain. Just make up for lost summer time riding during the winter and spring months. If we were waiting for a ride to open in July that would then close from Nov to May, then we'd maybe have something to complain about.

The Mardi Gras event this past weekend was pretty cool, and I hope it returns. The decorations were only ok, but I wasn't expecting too much seeing as it was only a two day event. The bands added a nice atmosphere and the special food that I had, Bourbon chicken with rice and potatoes, was actually really good and I wish was served all year. The parades weren't amazing, but people really got into them so they were still fun. The day ended with a 10 minute long firework display. So as a whole, the event was great and I hope to see it return and expand next year.

^ While that is very true, I would hope that someone with a disability such as not having hands would know that they should read the signs to make sure they are still able to ride. What I'm confused about is how in the time that he was in the park and standing in line, no one said anything to him about not being able to ride until he got in the station. Unless his arms were completely covered, there must have been plenty of employees who saw him, and I know it could be awkward for them, one of them should have said something to him or someone he was with about going to guest relations and seeing what he could ride. At least that would've saved him the time he wasted in line.

[RCT3] Six Flags Arizona
deathbydinn replied to real_cameron's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
It's realistic to what Six Flags did with the Deja Vus. SFMM's opened August 25th, SFOG's on September 1st and SFGAM's didn't open until October 7th.
