  1. ^ I'm pretty sure it does. Remember the surveys they sent out that I brought it up before? It was either a taller Sky Screamer with nothing else, or a shorter one with bumper cars, a scrambler, and flying elephants. So the additional rides did affect how tall it would be.
  2. Because they're also getting 3 flats and a water slide.
  3. That doesn't mean they won't ever build one. If what they have was working for them, thats great, but eventually they're going to decide to bring in a new coaster. Besides, other parks have gone longer, there were 23 years between Hersheys first and second coaster!
  4. ^ I think he meant it was corporate's idea, not Magic Mountain's.
  5. Shockwave from SFGAm? - Its not operating but a near clone of it is. Plus its trains are in use and some of Demons track was replaced with Shockwave track - Its built with bolts, shocks come from bolts of electricity - Steel coaster - In Illinois - Track was blue, like water, which submarines go in - The ride had trees around it, trees make logs - Superman now stands in its place. He's a hero, Ivy is a villan, both from DC Comics (I think ) - Superman is a B&M, B&Ms use clam shell restraints - People have desire for it to come back some day - Theres such thing as a Supernova Shockwave! http://gizmodo.com/5629800/this-is-how-a-supernova-shockwave-looks
  6. Off the same status. I just love the beginning of it.
  7. Raging Bull - Made with bolts, replaced Rolling Thunder, thunder goes with lightning, lightning bolts. - Steel Coaster - In IL - Used to have yellow track, yellow submarine..submarines go in water, RB is right next to the water park - Right next to Viper, which was built with logs. Also has a wooden station. - Queue has lots of vegetation, probably some ivy - Clam shell restraints - People have desire to ride Beemers!
  8. Staring us right in the eyes, literally? Well, then I'll guess, Iron Wolf @ SF Great America - Made with bolts - Steel coaster, Iron is also used to make steel - In Illinois - Yellow restraints, like the submarine, also by a kiddie area with a Crazy Sub style ride - Similar color to logs - Lots of vegetation around it - Usually people don't have the desire to ride it, but might now since it's leaving soon
  9. Well, this is really a shot in the dark, but.. Rajun Cajun at SF Great America? - Built with bolts - Steel coaster - In Illinois - Yellow track and cars, like the Submarine in the Beatles song - Right next to the parks Log Flumes - Supports are green like ivy, vegetation around the ride, Ivy is a nemesis of Batman which is located across the midway from RC Edit: Dang, CoasterWeasel beat me to it.
  10. Here's something interesting pointed out on SFGAMWorld. Link Look at the right side of the building, there appears to be a glass wall, a path and then a fence. Perhaps the queue will go through there? That'd be an awesome way to build up excitement! Edit: Not sure if this has been said in here before, but also take note that DDD is not in the animation.
  11. V2 at SF Great America? - Made with bolts - Steel coaster - In Illinois - Yellow, like the submarine in the Beetles song - Shares a lake with the parks two log flumes
  12. Whizzer at SF Great America? - Built with bolts, also in the same park as a coaster with Sprocket in the name - It's in Illinois, the land of Lincoln - It's a steel coaster - While it doesnt go under water like Submarines, it is over water and gets close to it.
  13. Avalanche/HellCat @ Timber Falls? The ride got struck by a lightning bolt on the TPR 2007 midwest trip.
  14. Unless if by mass of people you mean 5 - 10, I don't think it'll be that bad.
  15. ^ The park didn't really officially release it, but they had to release it for the permit plans. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=999885#p999885
  16. Tower of Terror backwards was announced before S:EFK, and opened before S:EFK...so I'd say SFMM stole both.
  17. Surprised this hasn't found it's way in here yet! Link
  18. Any idea if the bumper cars will be the classic kind, or the more modern circular ones?
  19. To be fair, I can easily understand how drop towers can be mistaken as coasters. They have tracks, they roll down them, and they have brakes at the end to stop them. I'd imagine that translates into a coaster for most GP.
  20. Something not superhero related would be more fitting. That's the only complaint I have about this ride. But with it's insane layout, I can forgive them for it.
  21. Well, it'd say for me it's bit of a tie between X Flight and Superman, but I'll give the edge to X Flight because I know I'll be able to ride that next year (but hopefully Superman too!) Dollywoods is a close second, but Im sure that'll either drop or rise when we see the full layout.
  22. ^ Considering they dumped rocks on part of it, part of the track is already gone, and they tore the roof off the garage for the cars..not likely.
  23. Well..nice to have this finally confirmed! Not too much I can say until the layout is released. At around 3000 feet long, (about 500 longer than Raptor) it's not super long, but thats still good for the space its going in.
