Lake Compounce doesn't get too many visitors daily. Maybe 10 min lines, on the most crowded days. So when it rains, the park is aboulutely dead. No one is there, and all they're doing is wasting money by paying ride ops and electric and water bills. Lake Compounce's management, is very good. The park probally just opened at 11am like usual, and they didn't take the sign down from the day before, or that lady was mis-informed. Other than Lake Compounce, it sounded like you had a load of fun!

The first one is a Robo-Coaster, and the second, a 1st generation Intamin-Drop

Either El Toro, or Superman: Ride of Steel SFNE. Superman has more airtime moments, while El Toro's is more intense. It's pretty much a tie for me. So I guess Intamin Plug-and-Play Woodies, and Intamin Hyper...

Aqua Trax' are kinda supposed 2 go in the water....

That was on a Slingshot ride. I love those rides. I'm not gonna go on one with the straps though. I like the ones with OSTR's. Actually, I would go on one with straps, but whatever....

Didn't bother me at all.. But my onride photo was really funny. If someone can find me a ride to be scared of I'd like to know... But yeah, my Kingda Ka Front Row was the funniest picture ever though...

Slingshots and Skycoaster's both didn't scare me. Way to short. Like someone else said, the cords used are very very unbelievabley strong. Skycoaster's use Elevator Cables (heard it on a show), but i'm not quite sure what Slingshots use... slingshots are awesome!

I've never been scared on a ride ...ever... no joke and I've been on the Slingshot in Wildwood, and Kingda Ka front seat, no intimadation there? I don' know why, but I don't find rides "scary".

I hope this thing is a great coaster, and not a trick pony, but by the looks of it, it isn't (so far...)

Like I said on GADV, that really stinks that they ran breakdance so slow

The only other Aqua Trax is launched... I think Aqua Trax's are supposed to be launched

I love scary movies, but cannot take gore over a certain level. It gets me nauseus (sp) when there is too much gore for me. Are there any movies that anyone can recommend to me that aren't gory, yet scary. I have seen When A Stranger Calls, and absoulutely loved it!

Maybe they didn't paint them yet, becuase they wanted too see what would fit the location nicely.. or its themed to a rusty well...uhh

-GADV Flashpass for 3 people is $60 -Parking at GADV and SFNE would cost you $30, ($15 + $15). -Food would be about around $90 (If you dont live of fast-food). -Don't get a Flashpass at SFNE, not worth it...IMO -I would say $130 - $140 for gas ~ Have a great trip, -Coastakid

Well, it's almost that time again where I start getting busy with my annual haunted house. This year it is going to be themed to the Haunted Hotel. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated. Also, this year I am opening it to the public for my first time. Any one that would like to help with the logo, or has any ideas on what to use for the walls (curtains worked, but people walked through them and ruined the house). I am also having security cameras placed throughout. Hey! and even if someone wanted to come check the house out it's going to be near the end of October for a few days. If they weren't safe they wouldn't let the ride be open. Those restraints are used on all Arrow Multi-loopers (except Drachen Fire when it was open) and are very safe, but aren't very tight in any case (which doesn't mean that there not safe). I went on the Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Great Adventure yesterday, and they use the same restraints as Demon and the ride is more than double the size.
