  1. Hurricane Harbor in Arlington, across from SFOT is 47 acers with another 29 to expand on, more if they get the deal to move parking across the street, then the park will encompass somewhere around 100 acers.
  2. Thought they turned the theme park site into a new pool area .. but then again I haven't been to Vegas since 2000

  5. Staying at a hotel close to DW's entrance .. I do it for points and such, would like to camp out, but since it's early in the season .. eh ..
  6. I prefer GCI Millennium Flyers or NAD trains over any, PTC's are my last choice, except some of the one like Cornball or Triple Hurricane have ... I don't feel so restricted in them.

  10. As much as I hate some of these rides: Mantis X Scream X-Flight
  11. Blue Man Group at Luxor, before they move Star Trek: The Experience was always alot of fun Other than that, I tend to enjoy looking around the casinos and hotels, which is an issue if you aren't old enough, but most of the looking is outside. Freemont Street is an experience too, if you've never seen it.
  12. Huh? I need to hear the explanation on this.
  13. Millennium Force (A) Blue Streak (A) Magnum XL-200 (A-) Raptor (B+ - That damn Cobra Roll hurts) Wicked Twister (B+) Gemini (B+) Disaster Transport (B+) Corkscrew (B) Top Thrill Dragster (B-) Wildcat © Cedar Creek Mine Ride © Woodstock's Express © Mantis (D) Iron Dragon (F) Mean Streak (F) Jr. Gemini (F) Iron Dragon is just horrible, and Corkscrew is actually quite enjoyable. Magnum would rank hire if it didn't have injury potential for guys .. some learned that the hard way last CoasterMania with me ...
  14. Have no choice on the day since they are only open Fri-Sun when we go .. so we will just have toi bite the bullet and hope it's not crowded. I'm pumped for Dollywood and the Pigeon Forge area .. since it's and SDC park, I know the food will be killer and the staff as well.
  15. I've taken my camera on everything, well in my camera bag at least, never had any issues, except the time one tried to escape on Screamin' during the airtime hills.
  16. I didn't even think about discounts, but yeah, what time do the ober gatinlinburg things close, hopefully its later so we can enjoy them on Thursday night.
  17. Yeah we like running around closed parks, something interesting about the creepyness of them. Anyways this is our plan: Thursday: - Lake Winnie - Dollywood/Ober Gatinlinburg Friday - Dollywood Saturday: - Carowinds - Heritage USA Sunday: - SFOG We won't have time to wander around Atlanta like we did last time, but know there are alot of fun places there, maybe next time.
  18. So we were gonna do PKD and BGW, but this was cheaper airfare, anyway .. just wanted to know if you guys or anyone else had tips for these parks? Lake Winnie is our first stop, then heading to Dollywood and the creepy NASCAR park, then over to Carowinds, hopefully Heritage USA if we can find an address or directions, then down to SFOG (we've been there before). Any advice with the parks or things to do at night or downtime?
  19. 97 on Titan during Media Day, before the mid-course was turned up ... spent the next 3 days in the hospital after that.
  20. Very nice .. I'm liking the new signs, first Tiki Room, now Space Mountain ... this looks like the start of great things finally.
  21. SFAW has had their's 2 years and still suffer major issues with it, it was down til June last season due to stress fractures and other issues with the ride .. something tells me S&S didn't improve on this any with the new ride.
  22. Big Dipper at Geauga Lake Dania Beach Hurricane Jack Rabbit at Kennywood (the double dip is amazing) Viper at SFGAm
  23. Holiday World .. hands down, Indiana Beach too.
  24. Yeah I'll be sure to get out there opening day for the woodies .. hate to see what the dry Phoenix enviroment will do to the wooden coasters .. Legend City knew not to try, hence why the Sea Serpent was never rebuilt there ..
  25. -Where do/did you go to college? SMU .. close to home and no arguements from family who was paying for the education -What are/did you studying/study?
