Scary Mountain people await .. oh joy .. maybe someone will try to sell me a goat like they did in Arkansas last weekend.

Well .. heading off to Atlanta here in about 2 1/2 hours to hit Lake Winnie, Dollywood, Carowinds, SFOG, NASCAR Scary Park and possibly Myrtle Beach (if the rain ruins things). Hopefully .. it rain holds off .. Top Gun at PCW will be coaster #300 .. so iI'm hopin. I'll try to post some TR and photos each night, depending on hotel .. I know one has high-speed connection, just not sure which one for sure.

Well I figured I'd be dead before I reached 30 .. of course they always do chest xrays on me cause of my asthma when I get sick .. damn tests.

Got a few near me .. only visited one of them however: Hawaiian Falls (The Colony) Hawaiian Falls (Garland) Bahama Beach (Dallas) -- opens in a few weeks Hurricane Harbor (Arlington) -- big .. one of the bigger waterparks, nice rides too, scary wave pool tho. The Bahama Beach and Hawaiian Falls parks are city owened parks managed by the Herschend's of Silver Dollar City, Celebration City and Dollywood .. good stuff there.

Salary here .. and not spilling .. those are private things. But enough to support 2 new cars, 2 cats, apartment (too big!) and woman, although she works too and makes more than I do actually .. but benefits are great at this job.

Hmm let's see .. Worked until 7am (damn nights, ending soon tho) Got home around 7:30am .. listened to the never-ending complaints from the better half Packed and took a shower Went to Kroger for some food and needs for this weekend Drove to met friends for lunch at noon Got home around 1:45pm Slept til 7 Stopped by Pharmacy to get my drugs Came to work Working til 5am Getting on plane at 6:50am I'm dead tired.

Oh yeah totally forgot about Chang, sad it started flaking a few months after it got painted .. cheap wal-mart paint used there.

Mostly rides with OTSR's with no backup seatbelt lock or something else .. nothing to save you if the restraint fails .. most ride manufacturers are now seeing this.

Yeah we are going to be there .. for mostly ERT, heading off to Geauga Lake during the day most likely since everyone has been to CP .. well except one person, but she doesn't count ... we are staying at Breaker's .. so we should be there for morning ert, maybe a little after and then evening ert .. if we survive the first day of the trip.

Wow .. 10 xrays .. I think i've done myself in for a good 10-20years after breaking my arm in high school really really bad .. they had like 50 xrays of the arm before surgery and then another 20-30 after the two surgeries .. I'm gonna die.

Park is usually one of the top parks for ride operations in the chain. It's run well by the people and they know what they are doing. They have been cracking down on cameras, since you really shouldn't take one on. It' s part of the corporate policy, but since SFOT is not owned by Six Flags Inc, they do make their own rules. Some ride ops will allow it, some won't and I highly doubt PR would give you permission since it's required several weeks/months in advance. All in all, it's one of my fav six flags parks and not cause I live 24miles from it, but of how clean and well run it is. You should be able to ride everything unless it's raining, then Bobsled and Freeze will close (Freeze in moderate to heavy rain). You won't be able to get the kiddie coaster in Looney Land in, since it requires to be shorter than 48" or with a person shorter, so take a midget if you wanna ride it, but everything else should be a go.

Yup got painted last year, Ultra Twister and XLR8 as well .. Ultra Twister is being repainted as well as Serial Thriller and Viper for 2005/2006 and possibly Texas Cyclone

Jusge at SFOT as well as Batman and Freeze .. they could all use some paint .. Viper at SFAW was pretty bad as well, just faded more than anything

hmm 2 HUSS Giant Frisbees in less than 24hrs apart .. should be fun .. I love CoasterMania

Problem with most is trespassing and being shot at .. I know the owner of the Playland Park site has patroled the land with a rifle .. in the middle of a large city too .. it's quite scary.

I think I just messed up my pants.

There's actually not that many out there .. Idora/Chippewa are a few that come to mind. I'm sure there's a few more with some remains around, like Playland Park in San Antonio, no rides, but buildings. I have few photos on my site from Playland Park, Aquarena Springs and some others .. adding some more soon after some upcoming trips if the weather behaves itself.

I wonder that too .. since the S&S's here in the states don't run full trains, well I think the one in Washington State does .. but I'd prefer G-Trains over PTC's .. I'm not too fond of PTC's, although they do track alot better on the Legend than the G-Train did.

Fire in the Hole of course! Plus they got the kick-a mine train, alot like Adventure Express at PKI without the anti-climatic ending .... But Powder Keg is a GREAT ride, however I hope they get it running to full capacity soon, they go down to 1 train too often.

Ah .. I went to Action Park several times in the early-mid 90's when I went to summer camp up in NY. I remember the looping water slide, cliff jumping, the zip line, mountain slide, the slides that went underground and then shot out of the cliff face .. great great fun .. always scared me and the water was always so damn cold cause of the mountain creek water they used.

It's not that bad anymore, the new subway station is very nice and the ballpark makes it somewhat more comfy. The Cyclone beats the HELL out of you, but it's great fun. No tips really .. never seen it too busy at all. Don't forget Nathan's down the block from the Cyclone.

Nah Psyclone isn't painful .. it's too slow to even inflict any pain .. I had a nice nap on it last May.

Yeah there's a huge learning curve on Premiere .. I started with 5, now using 7 (Pro) and still learn new stuff every single day .. found 7 (Pro) has even more new stuff and threw alot of the old 6/6.5 stuff out for newer interfaces.

I guess I could technically be the resident Q-Bot know-it-all since I worked for Lo-Q before the fallout between them and Six Flags .. then moved onto better things.
