  1. Park would be your best bet. Smaller parks like that are hard to track since the rides appear from either fairs or older parks that have closed down.
  2. Sadly ... Flashback at SFOT on Sunday before the rain .. but the "new" train is running MUCH smoother, very happy with that ride
  3. Wouldn't say CCI reformed, 4 of the most active designers and engineers went on to form the Gravity Group, one being Larry Bill, responsible for most of CCI's best rides. Others including Denise went on to S&S Wooden Coaster Division and doing a damn good job on some of the rides I must say.
  4. Wow I can't wait for next week ... how many days til the 28th?
  5. Rode it two days after it opened and thought it was as bad as T2 at SFKK (one of the first SLCs in the US), Serial Thriller at SFAW was much smoother .. the Twister is a great ride, when it has good days.
  6. Well it's called Premiere Pro now .. forgot to mention that. And they have a HDV plug-in for Premier Pro 1.5 (Premiere 7) .. which is cool
  7. June 17th
  8. That field is no longer, SF Inc sold it .. sent coaster to Great Escape and got rid of the rest pretty much .. melted down the other rides .. tis a shame .. would of liked to of ridden the bobsled again, except for the fact it had weeds growing out of it.
  9. Be sure to note the ghetto anti rollbacks .. it's quite funny. We noticed them on Media Day/Opening Day in 2002 .. I was like .. wow, how ghetto. But GCII did a nice job on the structure.
  10. Cause no one wants a rotting Vekoma SLC? That's my guess .. final cost of purchase, installation and "themeing" was around $2.5 million .. that's a steal.
  11. It was built for Jazzland/SFNO .. sat around at the Vekoma factory until MS struck a deal ... they got it very very cheap.
  12. glad they got a 4 year old vekoma (at that point) that was purchased for right over $1 million from a park that was bankrupt .. it's sad that's the most popular ride in the park .. then again they have the ghetto mine train with the nut and bolts for anti-rollbacks on the lift hills ...
  13. It's a pretty park .. I'll give it that, only park in the US in a National Park/Forest .. but the rides completely suck .. last two visits we had free tickets even from management and still were like this place sucks more and more each time ... Libertyland has one advantage with Zippin Pippin .. but then again when Twister runs well it's a DAMN good ride.
  14. Premiere 7 may since thats the latest version, something like Vegas will .. I use Pinnacle Studio 9.4 and Premiere 7
  15. Magic Springs isn't worth the drive either, even on the wonderful fun highway of death (Hwy 65) .. but then again if Twister is running well .. still isn't worth the $33 admission .. everything else is pretty crappy.
  16. Highly doubt it'll be a GCII, since they recently signed deal with Gravity Group after the CCI fallout to maintain the Raven and Legend .. and seeing as how Larry Bill and group did Raven and Legend, why would they go somewhere else? A smaller INTAMIN hyper or new GG coaster would be very nice.
  17. Last weekend we saw alot of little kids in line that loved it .. it's certainly a great ride, but they have issues with the trains and constantly go down to 1 train op, from the 2 since the 3rd train has some major issues as we were told. It's more than the normal family coaster, but the lift in the middle of the ride kinda stops the fast paced action of the first part and then kinda destroys the remainder of the ride. Not sure why they included the lift, a second launch would of been very cool.
  18. We got our new passes at the park this year, since we had Astoworld season passes last year, then two weeks later, I get a mailing from SFOT with 4 new passes in them all for me .. 2 have my photo on their of me, but not the same as my new 2005 pass and two others have what appears to be the background and someone blurred. Very odd .. haven't used the pass since then .. I've asked my friends at the park to explain this, they have no clue why this happened.
  19. I just like the fact that the ride is expandable .. should be pretty interesting when they start expanding it.
  20. "Busted" - Nerf Herder
  21. Holy crap that looks alot better than the small wooden sheds they had .. very very nice. I can't wait for June 4th!
  22. Dear lord I'm crying ... although at work I used it and typed it in a ticket I sent back down to tech support .. you could hear them rolling
  23. Hmm I'll be there NEXT sunday ... hopefully adding 2 new coasters, but will prolly only add the one cause deja sucks. Monster Plantation rocks .. floating dark ride .. so great ... Acrophobia .. didn't really enjoy it last time, nice ride tho. Ninja was very impressive .. Scream Machine hurt, Superman rocked, Batman rocked, Mindbender was kinda a letdown for me .. GA Cyclone was very nice, except for the trim, GA Scorcher was very very nice and the mine train hurt.
