  1. That's part of the problem, roads in North America are filled with big SUVs. Driving such a small car in Europe probably wouldn't be nearly as much of a risk. But I sure wouldn't want to drive one here and risk getting hit by an SUV. Personally I don't understand buying one over here, when for the same price you could get something a bit larger which still gets decent gas milage.
  2. Being conscious of the environment does not make you a treehugger. Treehugger is more of a derogatory term for someone who is so obsessive about the environment, that they start to annoy the crap out of everyone around them. And start to pick fights over stuff that doesn't affect the environment nearly as much as they think. They're the type that go protest logging operations, while not realizing that driving their big ass SUV cross state probably was worse on the environment then the logging. Sorry, off topic. I still don't like Smartcars.
  3. I'd put my vote in for Universal/IoA. I was kind of underwhelmed by BGA. Sure, Sheikra, Montu, and Kumba were great, but other then that there wasn't much of interest. Kraken at SWO was alright, though I didn't find it to be very forceful. I really enjoyed my time at Universal/IoA. Those parks had great coasters, but also great non-coaster attractions which BGA and SWO didn't have.
  4. Well first we'd need more people to settle in the area so that "millions who live between Toronto and Montreal" was true. Ottawa is only about 875,000 people. The area isn't as heavily populated as you'd think. A small theme park might be able to survive however.
  5. Whenever I see someone driving a Smartcar I get flash backs from Family Matters. This is who drives a Smartcar.
  6. Parks don't have to give guests anything for when the park closes due to weather, etc. All tickets will have some sort of diclamer to that fact. However in certain cases they will comp you even though they don't techically have to. It's just good marketing in certain cases.
  7. Smartcars have been in Canada for quite awhile. I've always thought they look stupid, and the people that drive them end up looking really weird. What's the ticket price going to be in the US? I'm fairly certain in Canada they push 20K-30K fully loaded. Who buys their teenager a car that expensive?? Teenagers drive their cars like crap. Better to get some cheap car that you can destroy. Then buy a good car after you've driven for a few years. Sure going to be a waste if you total it.
  8. I'd hardly call Renegade and High Roller similar rides. They both provide very different rides. With your reasoning, why do any parks add any new roller coasters?
  9. Back in August they were only letting two adults on at once.
  10. ^ It'll always be Batman Knight Flight to me.
  11. I'm a ninth grader EDIT!!! 700th POST!!! Exactly. Thanks for proving my point about the quality of the article.
  12. Ummm ... what?? Was that article written by a 9th grader?
  13. Seems like it's not as mandatory as they make it out to be.
  14. What are you into S&M or something?? I don't think riding them in the snow would be all that much fun.
  15. Did you try reading the title of the page?? You really should be able to figure that one out on your own.
  16. Went to WDW with my family like 15 years ago. (Splash Mt. was being built). Then went to DLR for the first time like 3 years ago. I probably never would have gone to DLR if I hadn't become an enthusiest. DLR didn't feel like "something I had done before" because it had been so long since I had been to WDW.
  17. The only thing I don't like about Screamscape is the ads. He went a bit overboard on them, and they hurt the site IMO.
  18. Oh, it's a Halloween mask!! Makes so much more sense now. Isn't it all sweaty from wearing it for the last few years??
  19. You might want to report that to the police if you were being jackhammered when you were five.
  20. Funny that you're new to the scene and you already know most of the problems behind ACE.
  21. But if daddy makes a sizable "donation" to a C level school he could be the next Dr Nick Riviera.
  22. I'd gladly go and ride Renegade over and over again. Those who thought it was slow probably didn't ride it in the rain.
  23. Well Drop Zone is still taller.
  24. I'm more curious about how those back two stadium seats are going to feel. I tend to feel vulnerable enough on the normal B&M hyper seats. Those elevated seats are going to feel even more exposed.
  25. Now it's obvious you're just screwing with us.
