Everyone has to have something to complain about. These people complaining are acting like Disney is denying them entry due to their disability. All they're saying is that they have to use a normal wheelchair, and not a segway. They say they have more dignity in a segway?? Someone in a segway would stand out more then in a wheelchair.

Did you have anything to do with the fire?

I love how we're barely into construction, and it's already taller (or close to) then Minebuster. -

Is that 39 out of 40? Kidding, looks like a fun event. -

The trims weren't what killed Beast for me. It was my back getting slammed into the rock hard seat back over and over again like a jack hammer. G-trains though wouldn't save it. If anything they'd make it worse. -
Largest Re-located Coaster??
Carnage replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ It was rebuilt by the remains of the Crystal Beach Cyclone. Though, it was pretty much a new ride at that point. -
Where's the option for neither? Stupid pointless poll.

Largest Re-located Coaster??
Carnage replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Largest, as in physical size, or largest in terms of amount of effort required to move? I would think moving a big B&M would probably be easier then moving a modest sized wooden coaster. -
That might not be a mechanical breakdown though. Could quite possibly go down to clean up after someone pukes. That's pretty common.
-
Most draft dodgers move to Canada. Probably would have been easier.

Honestly it depends on what games you want to play. Figure out which system has the games that you're most interested in and get that system. There's not enough games on the Wii that really intersest me. Most of them seem fun, though gimicky. I prefer my xbox360.

Or the Canadian military. You can't fight if the helicopter can't get off the ground.

I'm not following that reasoning. So little Johny is caught swinging the family cat around by the tail. Mother sees it and gives little Johny a spanking and a stern warning. Johny isn't going to be thinking "But my teacher tells me not to hit. Why did she hit me??". He's going to think, "Man, maybe I shouldn't swing the cat around by the tail". But the real point I was trying to make isn't wether or not to spank. The problem is when the kid is told that the parent can't hit them. It's like a get out of jail free card.
-
If your kid doesn't know why he's being hit, then the kid is an idiot. Spanking your kid should be the choice of the parent. Not the law telling parents how to parent. There's too many kids that know their parents can't touch them, and because of that end up spoiled brats.

It looks too steep. That first piece looks almost flat. Looks more like the end of the final hill into the brake run. -

Wow, those are rails connected to that track? I had NO idea. Thanks for stating the obvious. I see two sections of track in that picture. And the one which looks like a drop piece is behind the other. You can't see it's rails, and how curved it is. Not too mention that it's hard to figure out the angle of drop without seeing how the support will be lined up. You can't even be sure that, that section is for the first drop, let alone the steepest part of the drop. There is no way you can look at a single section of track sitting in a parking lot and go "Yup, that drop is going to be exactly 74 degrees". -
If you don't have the work ethic to work your way up in a theme park job, what makes you think you're going to make it in the cut throat acting business? I have a feeling you're going to be type casted as "burger flipper #2".

^ I know someone on the UK trip missed the first couple days, and just met up with us partway into the trip. Though you still pay the full amount even if you miss the start of the trip. -

^ Do you mean this picture? How can you tell from that angle what degree the drop would be? You can't even see the rails. Let alone how it will connect to the drop supports. -
^ No. If you want a copy of Halo3 you can get it just about anywhere. They can mass produce games much faster then consoles.
