Yes. Do you like to put strawberries in your cereal milk and stir it so it turns pink?

On the school topic, these are the assignments I've done so far: --Web site, and a presentation about it. Coaster credit info was included in my site content! Wicked Twister and CP Wildcat were my background pics. --Powerpoint presentation and lengthy report about a planned coaster trip that may or may not happen next year (well at least one of my ideas will happen, but not necessarily the main one). --13-page research report on theme park marketing, which is being used as an example for the next class. I mentioned a lot of things I learned about from TPR, such as Dole Whips and Potato Patch Fries. --Some random small assignments. Every time I do a coaster/theme park presentation, it gets a lot of attention from at least one person listening, and some typical misconceptions and/or naive questions are shared/asked. Fun stuff!

Unanswered/Dumb Question-Dumb Answer game
cal1br3tto replied to Angry_Gumball's topic in Random, Random, Random
According to the weatherman, it's a "G-rated" replacement for the 'B'-word. "It's hotter than biscuits here today!" Edit: Or maybe the 'H'-word... What is the difference between a rock? -
Awkwardly switching places with someone in order to get the back seat on Zillerator (didn't have to be awkward, but it was because of how I communicated it). Trying to count people so I could get the back car on Ice Mountain Bobsled, and leaving the station (no one behind me) whenever I wouldn't get it. Riding a powered coaster (that I don't count as a credit) at a carnival because "it's the closest thing to a coaster here...I might be sad if I don't". Lost $2 in unspent tickets that way; would've used them all if I'd ridden one more high thrill ride instead. Riding a Boomerang twice in a row with hot 30-minute waits each time, just to ensure someone else got the credit.

Most Photogenic Coasters
cal1br3tto replied to darklingscribe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Since hundreds of coasters are photogenic, I'll just have to go with a couple favorites I've seen in person. Medusa (SFDK). The colors + curves= <3 , and practically any photo of her is beautiful. Tremors. There are some great angles that really convey its intensity. -

15/20 75%. C. Average. I'm happy with myself. -
wtf, next time I will make sure my headphones are plugged in before I start listening to gratuitously inappropriate music at high volumes.

Did you know that you can figure out people's ages by taking the year they were born and counting forward from there until you get to the current year? Yes? Then you are probably not stupid. lulz

Today, I spent a lot of time writing a music journal post, complete with absolutely meticulous coding. Just this one time, I don't save it by emailing it or pasting it to a Word document. (Yes, I am smart enough to do that every other time. Just barely.) So, this of course is the one time (not quite literally) that my browser crashes. Have I learned my lesson???

Posting Pictures
cal1br3tto replied to Whoa, Davie!'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm wondering if this is a new bug related to the recent "situation". I had the exact same problem yesterday; I tried every option and none worked. Finally, I attached the photo to a TPR post and was then able to use it. -
I am credit whoring.

I saw one of my favorite people today! After all this time.

^Sing the Sorrow was always one of my favorite albums...although I think it's one that gets criticized a lot for being a different style than the previous ones (or something). Current obsession: Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros

It only took me about 5 seconds to figure it out. I just didn't want to say anything.

Boy floats away in homemade helium balloon
cal1br3tto replied to Kennyweird's topic in Random, Random, Random
It's a cute story (since the boy is safe, obviously). However, I just have a little concern. Was there always at least one person searching the house and/or the neighborhood? I mean, what if the brother lied because he thought it would be funny? What if the boy got in the balloon, but then thought it was weird/scary and panicked and ran off while no one was looking? I understand kids can hide in strange places for long periods of time, so I'm not blaming the boy. I also understand that this would be a panic-inducing situation, but somebody should've had enough of a level head to search the most obvious option (home). Think of all the money and brain-power (worry, careful planning, etc.) expended. I guess my conclusion is that I don't see the connection between "he was in the balloon at one point" and "the balloon escaped and he must have been in it". What happened in reality should've seemed at least equally plausible, if not more so, in the first place. Sorry for the rant! -
I know how to do a Google search. I can't always successfully find the googles, though; sometimes they run away before I can catch them. Those rascals!

Roll Call for B-list musicians
cal1br3tto replied to Bolliger&Mabillard's topic in Random, Random, Random
I did this, but can I please list some honorable mentions? After all, I can't help it that more than one band starts with the same letter! So, in the spirit of exposing some more lesser known artists... A The American Culture eXperiments--Unique mix of punk, surf, reggae, and who-knows-what-else. Very deep, powerful social/political/spiritual lyrics. B Blaster The Rocketman--Crazy "cowpunksurfabilly"/horror punk. They remind me of Dead Kennedys, although they're really not that similar. Blenderhead--Post-punk/post-hardcore, mixed with a tiny bit of punk. They're a little like Fugazi. C Cotton Mather--Sometimes they sound exactly like the Beatles, yet they're still unique. Powerpop. One of the most amazing bands I've heard. Calibretto 13--The quirkiest, most random band...ever? I would think so! They call their genre "dork rock". Or acoustic punk, which isn't quite as cool-sounding. The closest well-known band to them would be Violent Femmes. H Huntingtons--They started out as a Ramones cover band (spot-on, I might add). Then they did punk-pop in the style of the Ramones. Eventually, they ended up switching to the more modern, "poppy" style of pop-punk. Which is actually my favorite "era" of theirs, oddly enough. (Unlike many, I'm not at all biased against pop-punk. It's actually one of my favorite genres.) -
Politically Incorrect Coaster Names
cal1br3tto replied to Millenniumguy's topic in Random, Random, Random
And 99 other people that I think are worth a mention. I meant no offense to those people and their loved ones. I don't even listen to the band. Since this is a lighthearted thread (except for that mention), I didn't feel the need to go into detail. Back on topic. There are dozens more I could come up with, but of course I couldn't sort which are actually funny and which are just a product of my twisted "12-year-old" mind.
