I was supposed to take a sleeping pill. Instead, I accidentally took a vitamin. How dumb.

The park looks pretty different in the off-season, and kind of lonely. Thanks for the interesting look. I thought Timber Wolf was both good and bad. There was some good airtime, but the first drop was painfully rough, even in the front seat. Overall, I enjoyed it.

That is exactly my problem with DCA. Disneyland is my favorite park, but DCA gets lumped into my list of parks that I have no particularly strong reasons to criticize, but don't particularly love, either. And some of their rides (Tower of Terror, California Screamin') are among my all-time favorites!

No, although occasionally he can be annoying. Don't you just hate really affectionate cats?

I got 14 out of 20. C-. Some of the answers were total give-aways. (Or does the fact that I think that make me even more of a nerd than I thought?) -

^/^^ That kind of misconception has always amused me...in fact I think my only (pretty forgettable) quotes in this thread have been from people with that mindset. I don't even know what I used to think. I knew there were both wood and metal coasters, and I probably just took it for granted that they would still make some out of wood, as I don't remember that being a surprise to me. -

^Or "upside down looping inversions", if they're trying to sound all educated. -

I'd forgotten how beautiful the sky was that day. The cloud cover was much appreciated. -
I had been interested in trying to get to Mundo Divertido. Needless to say, I am no longer considering it. Yes, I've heard terrible things about Tijuana, but I had been hoping the danger was a bit less extreme and overt.

Yes, I am an organ donor. There's really no in-depth reason as to why; to me it seems more like a "common sense" decision. It just opens up an avenue to potentially help people, with no consequence to myself.

^Are you sure that's a Galaxi? That would explain the ridiculous airtime! Now I know why Butler Amusements makes no mention of the ride even though I rode it at one of their carnivals (California State Fair, 2009). I thought they were the sole provider of that midway, but maybe not. I too have unearthed very little about that intense little ride. Would love to cross paths with it again! -

1. Riddler's Revenge 2. Iron Wolf 3. Vortex I think Riddler's Revenge is a solid ride; I'd give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. I enjoyed both Iron Wolf and Vortex, but I put them in the "barely above average" category, which I believe means I like them more than most people do. -
^Agreed. When I say it's a good ride, I just mean that I personally enjoy it. I think Invertigos and GIBs are significantly more exciting than standard Boomerangs, but I can understand there are plenty of reasons a park wouldn't want to add or keep one (generic and simplistic layout, maintenance issues, bad rep, etc.).

The bad news for me is that I liked Invertigo. The good news is that that there are still two operating installations (one in the U.S.), and that this one will become a third. Looking forward to learning which park and when. I can totally understand the "park is dead/dying" comments, but if we really do get a new coaster out of this, I'll be sure to make a visit. I don't like the park too much, but I could stand to hit some more flats and a few coasters. "Definate"?
