  1. The more I see of Knoebels, the more amazing it looks! Can't wait to go there!
  2. I don't even know how to make a watermark. XPLANE FOTOCHOP PLZ
  3. ^Same, except less trolling and moar lurking (and occasionally posting my VERY SERIOUS thoughts about coasters).
  4. ^Traincrossingg, you might want to wipe off your photo before it becomes too saturated.
  5. I didn't think Terminator had all that much air, but Goliath had some pretty good moments! Nothing earth-shattering, but definitely more than just that famous third hill. I found both hyper-twisters I've ridden (Goliath and Raging Bull) to be pretty well-rounded, though I understand why some may find them lacking.
  6. Yes. Have you ever avoided answering a question in this thread just because you wanted to see how someone else would answer it?
  7. Big Mike, I would like to enter the contest because my favorite part of The Big Mike Road Show is the warm fuzzy feeling I get inside when I read it! Oh, and rubber duckies.
  8. ^Believe me, so do I. It would be great if they're being quiet for now just to be cautious, but are actually moving very quickly behind the scenes. But I try not to tease myself with unfounded ideas like that.
  9. Quoted for agreement. I've been describing my coaster list as an "experience collection" in my head for quite some time now. It doesn't strike me as all that different from any other kind of collection. In my post a few pages back, I did take some license with the term "rare". The coasters I mentioned might be "rare" for the average enthusiast who doesn't live in the area and wouldn't make an effort to travel for that kind of coaster, but they're far from truly being rare.
  10. ^The PTC seat is legit! Works like a charm on HellCat, for one! I made sure to try that on Ghostrider, as well as the front and...yes...the very back. I don't recall much of a difference, though. I thought Ghostrider had a pretty intense first drop and some decent airtime, but somehow after 4 laps, I just didn't find it particularly memorable.
  11. Viper was indeed totally haulin' during the MWB storm session! But I just thought it had too many average or even lackluster drops mixed in with the great ones. I'd give it about a 7 or 8 out of 10, though; it's certainly a solid ride!
  12. That kind of thing bothers me a bit about my rankings. It kinda weirds me out seeing how much I differed from the norm with some of my 2010 coaster experiences. Oh, well! I know I'm not completely alone in my opinions. Popular woodies I didn't "get" the same way most seem to: Apocalypse, Raven, Cornball Express, American Eagle, Viper Currently unpopular woodies I enjoyed (sorry if I bring this up too often!): Ghostrider, Timber Wolf, Voyage, Hades
  13. The Santa Claw is larger than my bedroom! I find this both embarrassing and awe-inspiring.
  14. Bury 'Em All - Twiztid (featuring Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, & Potluck)
  15. At least those have easy answers. Well, if you're level-headed, anyway.
  16. Green Lantern's page states that it will only be included with the Gold and Platinum Flash Passes. Of course, details could change at any time. X2 is still listed as having an extra charge.
  17. There is a good reason most people kept their hands down on HellCat. And no good reason that I didn't. (Perhaps I was brain-damaged by Hades.) Enjoyed the airtime, though!
  18. ^^I care to an extent, but I'm not going to hate on a coaster because it "isn't really wood" or "should still be wood" or anything immature like that.
  19. I'm relieved the Cyclone is predicted to open on time. Can't wait to get to Coney!
  20. ^I think the dream about being a roller coaster is some pretty stiff competition. I want to be a roller coaster now!
  21. Oaks Amusement Park: Not at all. In fact, it would probably come out low on my list. I like the park, but it's too small, and its coaster collection is very, well, limited. It has a couple of my favorite flats, though. Enchanted Forest: Probably still in my top 10-15 parks. As a coaster park, it's not great (although Ice Mountain Bobsled is pretty fun). As a homemade theme park, though, it's amazing. My favorite park is Disneyland, although that hardly gives an idea of what I like. I love all kinds of parks.
  22. I really liked HellCat, but I don't consider it my favorite in the Dells. I prefer Hades for its length and layout, and Cyclops for "THE drop". I also thought HellCat was quite the batterer in the back seat. While I rarely downgrade coasters based on roughness, it doesn't exactly increase my fondness for them...
  23. 1. Medusa 2. Scream! And yes, I like them both. Hope to add a couple more floorless coasters this year!
  24. Not sure if this is worth mentioning, but it seems that a trip to Ferrari World was offered as a prize (but not won) on today's "The Price is Right". I wasn't paying attention, but I heard something about a 149 mph roller coaster and thought to myself "Uh...is that a metaphor or something?" Then I heard "trip to Ferrari World". Think I'll try to get on the show in case they offer it again...
