Yay, found exactly the kind of thread I was looking for! This might be the most stupid site I have ever seen. (And yes, I had to resist the urge to type in the site's "style".) craigs-lisp.org/

Mitch Hawker 2010 poll

Exactly! No offense intended to Little Dipper, of course. Maybe to Pegasus, though... -
Mitch Hawker 2010 poll

Grizzly didn't earn last place from me this year, for once. It wasn't unseated by some terrible death-machine, but rather by the modest-by-design Pegasus (Mt. Olympus) and Little Dipper (SFGAm). -
I don't listen to the radio anymore, but several years ago my favorites were: 1. 92.3 KGON (classic rock) 2. 97.1 KISN FM (oldies) And the "cool" stations, which I occasionally listened to, were Jammin' 95.5 and Z100 (hit music, so mostly pop & rap). I used to sometimes listen to KGON practically 24/7. I don't even listen to all that much classic rock anymore, and hardly any oldies. Wonder how much I would recognize even today, and how much I never really paid attention to.

Weird Roller Coaster Dreams
cal1br3tto replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This morning I had a dream in which Xcelerator was...not itself. The only restraints were shoulder belts with a tiny plastic attachment. It had a couple inversions before the launch section and another at the crest of the top hat. When I rode in the front, the coaster went forward, but when I rode in the back, it went backwards and upside down! I dream about coasters frequently and some common themes are: --Being dispatched with open restraints, or other oddities with the cars and/or restraints (no one dies, though) --Worrying about whether I'll get to ride something (especially at DLR) --Coasters or parks located indoors, in my backyard, or in my neighborhood When I ride a coaster in a dream, I usually experience a lifelike sense of airtime and speed. The coasters and parks I encounter are generally nowhere near true-to-life, yet I always seem to know their identities. -

I'm just surprised I rode 31 woodies in 2010, 28 new. There are only 4 woodies in my count that I didn't ride in 2010. -

Big Money Hustlas Big Money Rustlas I don't even like them that much, but I just love to see ICP, Twiztid, and other Psychopathic artists on my screen.

Best Drops....
cal1br3tto replied to BiCoastal Kid's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The second drop on Coaster at Playland is insane. So are most of its other drops. -
Is it a credit? Absolutely. I don't pick and choose what kiddie coasters I count. (Heck, I even count powered!) Just use common sense in your approach in trying to ride. Doubtful.

^Good stuff! I saw Paul during his Back in the U.S. tour in 2002, and Ringo & his All-Starr Band sometime before that. I was intensely obsessed with The Beatles during that time frame, so those shows were can't-miss.

Mitch Hawker 2010 poll

Voyage is my kind of ride. Raven isn't. And that's not the only quirk in my rankings. I've always been somewhat outspoken. Though lately I've realized that 35 woodies isn't anywhere near as many woodies as I once thought, experience-wise. And more experience = more insight. -

Mitch Hawker 2010 poll
cal1br3tto replied to Skycoastin Steve's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^First, delete all coasters you haven't ridden. Of the coasters you have ridden, the first "n" becomes an automatic "y". Change the second "n" to a "y" if you have ridden the coaster in 2010. So each one will either be "y,y" or "y,n".
