  1. ^Okay then! I really liked Monte as well; it may be simplistic but it has some very good airtime! I'm not the biggest fan of Revolution, though, but who is nowadays? However, I am somewhat fond of it, as it has a pleasing setting and layout. What I haven't really liked so far are the non-loopers. As much as I sometimes love compact coasters, a couple Schwarzkopf ones are among the least entertaining coasters I've ridden.
  2. ^Agreed. I really enjoyed Shock Wave at SFOT, so I'm looking forward to riding Mind Bender. These rides show that the old-fashioned loopers can be very "complete" and satisfying, even rivalling their modern counterparts.
  3. The City Museum is a deeply fascinating, somewhat frightening place. I love and miss it. Great shirt, Nate.
  4. I am credit whoring at the lovely Sandy Lake Park. I have never had more trouble fitting in a coaster! Yes, this is the second avatar I've had featuring me on a Wisdom Dragon coaster.
  5. ^Not particularly. The coasters aren't outstanding. You'll need a partner for many of the flats, even ones that often don't require one. The park is somewhat scenic, though, and should make for a pleasant visit.
  6. I'm finally starting to appreciate the intensity during the backwards portion on these. Flashback at SFOT is easily my favorite, and Boomerang Coast to Coaster at SFDK is the only one that gives me (very close to) no enjoyment. 8. It's hard for me to rank inverts, but I sure don't mind trying! All of them rate between a 7 and a 9 out of 10 for me. 1. Batman: The Ride (SFOT) 2. Flight Deck 3. Silver Bullet 4. Goliath 5. Patriot 6. Great White 7. Batman: The Ride (SFGAm) 8. Batman: The Ride (SFStL) 9. Batman: The Ride (SFMM)
  9. Superman: Krypton Coaster didn't particularly impress me, although I loved the setting and the zero-g roll. I always heard it was one of the best floorlesses, but it was fairly mild. It's still a top-30, 7/10 coaster for me, though.
  10. I love Runaway Mountain's queue; it's like taking a nature walk! I'm a little surprised people don't talk about it more.
  11. I am strangely pleased about this news. Don't ask. I guess I'm just happy to see the U.S. accomplish a long-held goal. I do know what you mean, and I don't entirely disagree.
  12. I have very little interest in soda. I'm not a fan of the taste or sensation, and if I want caffeine (and I usually do), I'll drink coffee or tea so I can avoid calories! I've grown quite fond of Mexican Coke, even though it's really just a silly novelty as it still contains lots of sugar. Apart from that, I'll drink basically any form of common soda, with a slight preference for creme soda and cherry flavors. I do, uh, really want to try Faygo, though.
  13. I love Sandy Lake Park! It's incredibly charming! This is very true!
  14. I found the song "Judas" a bit challenging at first, but it's catchy. I had a similar experience with "Born This Way". ^I have been introduced to Hollywood Undead a couple times and would really like to listen to them more, but haven't gotten around to it for some reason! I need to change this! They seem to be my style.
  15. Judge Roy Scream yesterday. Very charming ride in a beautiful setting. I got a couple good pops of air in the third row. After three visits, SFOT is now 100% COMPLETE!
  16. ^Damnit, I hit row three. I guess it doesn't have the right trains for that to be the magic seat. It was fun though!
  17. Wacky Worm at a sketchy Reed Shows carnival in Houston last night. HELL YES. It was haulin', too! I love the flower lights at night.
  18. Six Flags Fiesta Texas tomorrow.
  19. Mad Mouse at Joyland this evening. Another cute classic mouse.
  20. Cyclone at Wonderland earlier today. Cute little Miler mouse.
  21. I'm going to Wonderland and Joyland today.
  22. My next park will be Six Flags Over Texas. I'll be there tomorrow. Sounds good to me!
  23. I recently received a mailer-daemon email telling me my ballot didn't get sent. Assuming I can trust that the failure was legit, I think I might tweak my rankings a little more before submitting it again.
