This ride is looking pretty incredible; all you can see now is the first four larger elements and the rest is completely hidden! http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=23300&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=280&-1 -
Wait, Giovanola made an invert?
MARK replied to Three's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The theming of that ride is really cool too, I like it how it goes over the cool looking rapids ride! -
LOL I watched the POV, and just shook my head in amazement. I was skeptical at first; that when you have such a long ride it's obviously going to get mediocre at some point, especially with the height of those hills at the end, but it just proved me wrong! It just doesn't let up! Only one word for it: insane!

http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=23300&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=60&-1 A heap more detail has gone in, the bridge is now through the loop, and the stairs leading down to the walkway under the coasters second flatspin have been placed. Good Airtime On No Limits
MARK replied to MARK's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Yeah, I have the airtime on the intamin hyper I'm making from -0.7 to -1.5, but if it was a B&M I'd make it less with a pop in the tight apex. -

Names you've mispronounced
MARK replied to Thrillrider15's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I said Int-a-min was Int-aah-min, but then I heard some peoples on a video say it different. I still think Int-aah-min sounds stronger than int-a-min. I also used to pronounce Bolliger and Mabillard as Bolliger and Mallibard, but then I actually looked at it and corrected myself. -
What amount of negative Gs generally make good airtime on real coasters, so I can translate that onto the Hyper I am making on No Limits?

^some great angles! The coaster looks like it will be incredibly disorientating, with all of the direction changes and dives and lifts under and over walkways and earth. Here are some more shots and angles of the same work. http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=22145&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=700&-1 I tell you, the enthusiasm of these websites is incredible! -

^I can't get enough of it! I'm so geeky the first thing I do is get up and scan through all the websites that show Black Mamba's construction! I have to keep repeating to myself: 'it's only a hobby, it's only a hobby, it's only an interest, it's only a hobby...' -
^ Hades goes underneath a parking lot, and the parking space the coaster is built on is covered over with rocks. Plus, I think Mt. Olympus have intentionally put the coaster right in front of the parking lot to raise intrigue. If you look at this: http://rcdb.com/ig2667.htm?picture=66 it just goes nowhere, and then in this http://rcdb.com/ig2667.htm?picture=46 it just pops up out of nowhere!! That's gotta catch a few eyes. So I don't think that's a 'true' parking lot coaster. And if it is, it's a parking lot coaster that is done darn fine. I think a 'true' parking lot coaster just shows a lack of creativity i.e scream and a stupid excuse for a bit more park cred. What I really don't like seeing is two completely different and contrasting coasters, like Goliath and Colossus at Magic Mountain, that cross over each other, and in their case, one is put in front of the other. Just looks baaaad.... Eugh! That has to be the geekiest post I have EVER posted!

http://www.achterbahn.org/index.php?page=1934691040&f=1&i=1934691040 Looking great! Again, still not sure where all that plantlife that made the concept art look so great is going to go... -
Well just imagine how much you get pushed back into your seat on a normal launch, and then translate that to your torso and gut getting whacked and crushed into an intamin OTSR at the same force...wouldn't be for me.

Is it possible for intamin to put their prefabricated track onto those old woodies?

Although I'm not sure where all of the plantlife you see in the Art concepts are going to go. There doesn't look like there's much room in between the coaster and the fake rocks and the buildings and everything. And also, the trees and bushes they've already planted don't look very jungle-like to me.......although I'm not a huge expert in that area, so they could be. -

LOL I can't believe that those kids were having a running race on the Go Kart track! That's awesome. Seriously, that looks sooo cool. Really post apocalyptic....Geez...just looking at it you wonder how on earth it could still be open! -

New update with a heap more spikes going up on buildings around the area: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=22145&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=480&-1 It really looks like it's going to be true to the artist's impressions, which is exciting! Even the walkway under the second wingover in this: http://www.deepinafrica.de/impressionen/impressionen.php?active_impression=2 looks like it's going to be possible from the 'analysis' the guys at onride have done on this page: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=22145&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=280&-1 -

So do all coasters need to 'break-in' to get more air, or is Will just saying that because he was a little dissapointed and is hoping for the best??? -
rcdb strangeness -- re: dual track coasters
MARK replied to Three's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't get it...In the rcdb pictures there's a model and all I can see is one coaster, and even in the photos there's only that red coaster, what's the other one?... -
Good NL track!

I really like the name: A Story of Love. -
I thought this was an excellent coaster... It was smooth and the track bulding was true to the B&M style. The apex of the air hills were much tighter than a usual B&M hyper...I'm not sure whether you meant that or not, but I thought you might have been going for a 'Hydra' style Hyper, with all the wierd and deformed elements as well. But still, good job!
