Yeah, I was hoping, when they first announced the attraction, that the whole ride system would be replaced - into hanging doors 'vehicles'. Well, even tho it's now geared as "Fun for little ones," maybe they'll speed up the cabs just a little bit, like they originally intended for SL. I read some where that one of their original design concepts was in fact a suspended door swinging indoor roller coaster design, but they didn't see how they would get it to work right, and so they went with this design, although the door design would have been cool, I'm gonna have to say I prefer the way its ended up better. Besides, we'll probably see a "Cars" Theme ride modeled after Test Track in some way for 07.

The ride is far from bland my friend I would ride it 24/7 if I had the choice. Well, on your review, you never really went into how awsome the air time was, I would have thought that those would have been the things that stood out the most.

Immel Man showed me that video! ALthough I didn't see that part, I saw the parts after, I didn't really want to have to rewind it. But yes, Warner Stengle is this centuries Traver/Miller/ect. And I hope whoever replaces him does a darn good job at it too, as a world without a Stengle type person is not a very good world.

0 arrow pipe line coasters exist in the great RCDB. SO it makes me wonder, is the RCDB really all that great? :shock:

S&S is a different company from the former Arrow. Plus I think all S&S bought from Arrow were the designs, and the rights to the 4D coaster. Besides, its not that SFMM would have anything against arrow, its just that they didn't deliver a quality product, and in retrun it cost them millions just to try and fix. If anything, it would just be that one ride in particular.

Not really, but I had to bring it up because some one showed me thier Discovery Channel tape of 2000's top 10 coasters recently, and as you already know, your were featured in it. Anyways, sounds like it was rippen good fun. 8)

Time Warner (I think was the owning company at the time) decided they were sick of Six Flags and sold it to Premier. Any major damage done to the chain was done by Premier.

Theres a differences in this and Raymond. They ended the show after it had gone on for a while, but also while it was still strong, but it basically had picked up all the fans it was really going to get, and then they gave them a couple more seasons and ended. Where as this, Mr. Six is probably at his peak, where as in a year or 2 they could get rid of him no questions asked. But now its just out of no where. We've gotten used to seeing his old wrinkly face on television, and now they're taking if off.

The way I see it is they should have him be the mascot until people stop caring about him but to rip him out now would be wierd, he's really grown on me since I first started seeing him and his wacky antics. It seems CF recycles thier crappy plot lines for thier halloween shows. They did the same at haunt. :shock: But thier usage of that joke only further proves that he is a six flags icon. I can't tell you how many people in the crowd gave a reaction, even the old 50 year old women freak dancing in front of me gave the notion.

no, your just a panzy. From what I've heard from many people is that kong is one of the better SLC. And you just need to keep your head back, i only had minor head banging (which was tolerable) in the front, and you were just screaming "Ow," and well frankly.... yeah. The farther in back you go the rougher it got, but it wasn't that bad, you just need to get a little tolerance to ride's that aren't B&M/Intamin smooth. Anyways, the layout is beatiful layout, its too bad it doesn't ride as beautifully as it looks, but I still like it.
