  1. Actually, TTD does give more air than MF imo. The drop on MF isnt enough to do it for me. Ive got who knows how many rides on it since its my home park. I even got to ride it before Media Day the year it opened. Sure it was good and fun the first few years but its somewhat boring. I can go 70-75 legally in my car which would be the average speed of MF. Plus going over train tracks at 40mph will give me more airtime than on any other part of MF besides the drop. Anthony "used to be a fanboy" Harrison Well, that's you own fault that you think its boring as I think you've just over ridden it, and then one day just went on it and realised it just wasn't doing it for you anymore. Anyways, I think that MF would be more fun going at 70 mph than in your car, its more of appreciating it for what it is rather than what it isn't. WHat it is, is a 310 foot monster that plows you over over the top into an intense overbank followed by some speed hills there for the sake of splitting up the intensity of the ride with some air time. Its meant really for flying at high speeds with something that is a lot more bare than your car, but safer than a motorcycle, and it can go off the ground which unless your jumping off of a huge ramp on your motor cycle, can't be done otherwise.
  2. I also wish that if they get rid of Zonga, they strip it of all its original mechanics, and have some one like Premier basically redo the whole ride, and they can re-modify the restraint system to have it more like what they have on olympia looper to help get rid of that nasty head banging.
  3. from what I hear, there are a lot of retarded people in Ohio who don't know quite how to ride a stand up, although we get people like that here at SFMM, too. Which is why I think that the stand up designs have never really caught on because generally people are to stupid to ride them.
  4. Usually when I'm on a B&M and I have a whole car to myself or me and my friend have a whole car to ourselves and we're sitting on opposite ends, I'll get pretty obnoxious. But when I'm riding with other people I'm mainly just a Woooer. Except on drop rides like Supreme Scream I'll Scream for like a second, and I don't remember if I scream on Xcelerator or not, but w/e. But a ride that does not get any noise from me is Superman the Escape. The acceleration on that thing is worse than my mom's mini van!!!! ALthough I'll giggle at the top when it feels like your floating away!
  5. Actually, except for the one pictured above, I didn't think that most of thier designs were all that great, but it would have been sweet for X to of had that tunnel where that element comes in on X, but w/e.
  6. I went into this long speach of how 29 tons is farfetched as well, even if I did say a ton is 1000 pounds, when in facts its over 2000 pounds which makes it even a more farfetched number. Even if it also is 9 trains. My point is still the same. Saying how most cars way several tons, I can't imagine a train that is built to be lighter weight waying 29 tons~
  7. I remember those, I wish S&S would update thier fugly looking site and put in those models or new updated models back in.
  8. you guys are stupid. 29 tons per car? Thats heavier than the freaking thing that halls it! 29 x 8 = 232 tons per train. That's 232,000 pounds per train!!!!! MF would crall! And if you ment 29 tons for the train, that's sounds a little far fetched as well. Moral of the story, get your facts strait!
  9. I can't see why you would want a theme park on a tropcial island. I think the reason why most people go to hawii is for its beaches, volcanos, and other wild life, not for theme parks.
  10. or they can remove Boomerang! I'd rather see kong still there as oppose to boomerang. Remember that Kong is the only SLC in california or on the west coast for that matter, but there is another boomerang at knotts, a giant boomerang at SFMM, and an inverted Boomerang at PGA, the last thing that SFMW needs is a boomerang.
  11. ok then, a mechanic at SFOT lied to me then, oh I'll get him.
  12. now by season pass holder, do they mean anyone who holds a Cedar Fair pass valid for CP? (IE knotts?)
  13. Six Flags does not run Enchanted Villiage, the park has its own seperate management and they pay a fee to use the six flags name and all related characters, as weel as be included onto the site, ect.
  14. You mean petarded
  15. Deja Vu` is one of the best Vekoma's out there. I mean, it just really nocked my socks off.
  16. I've always just gone on rides because they're there, but if it looks like a crappy/sub-par ride, some times I'll skip it if I don't have the time.
  17. My last coasters I rode were Space Mountain, California Screaming, and Matterhorn. Then my first 1 for 06 was matterhorn.
  18. I know you didn't have anything to do with CoD 2 (or at least not much since I didn't see your name credited) but I was wondering, is it possible for the PC to match the look of the Xbox in CoD2? Because..... I compare the 2, and the xbox just looks so more crisps, and clear and bright, then what it does on my computer. So if you have any insight, that'd be helpful. I'm running it on a 2.4 ghz P4, with 768 mb memory. And a Radeon x700 Pro 256mb. Hopefully you can give me your insight on it. 8)
  19. No..... It doesn't The same forces are still acting on you, no matter what you do.
  20. I nice video sure would be nice!
  21. how's the video coming along? Also, do you by any chance have one of those tiny as hell digital cameras that you could possibly tape onto the front of the train?
  22. If you've never been there, its great fun. But if you go there constantly you get bored of it pretty fast, and than you think of ways to complain about it. It's like eating your favorite food frequently, it starts to not be your favorite and then you want to go to better things. Basically lets put knotts this way... When Cedar Fair plops in a ride at knotts, its like they never really plan it out that much in an atmospherical approach. One thing I hate about Silver Bullet is that they still could have more lake (even if split up by the train) but they could have had more water and it would have made it better. They half do things and in the process they take out Knott's charm in the process and never really bring that charm back into the park. But if you've never been there before, its great fun.
  23. YAYYYY! 8) I know I personally, as well as others have told him this, but he just doesn't seem to get it.
  24. I have searched and searched, and searched, and I haven't been able to find a single one on the internet
  25. ^ I don't see how its much different then that of Storm runner, or majority of the other rockets. I think the pops of air, and the launch are what really make this a note worthy ride, regardless.
