  1. ^ Well he DOES get to cut in front of everybody in line on the coaster just because he's a coaster celebrity.
  2. OOoo, I have yet to see an in depth ride report on this thing.
  3. My park would cost 1 billion dollars to make. And it would be located in florida and take many years for me to get my money back, but it'd be so freaking worth it. It'd have an Intamin Hyper, dueling Vekoma Motorbikes, Intamin Aqua Trax, B&M Floorless, B&M invert, and maybe a B&M flyer. And a gerstlaur spinny ride.(I think the set up is more interactive with your party then the Mohne Soyer or w/e is) And if I can't think of what I should build next, then an Intamin Rocket Looper or something. The 1 billion dollars would come from building like 3 - 5 major coasters all at once and then all the other attractions, and all the heavy theming. With land, it'd probably be 2 billion, or more.
  4. Soap Box Derby (Knotts) Wind Jammer Red (knotts) Wind Jammer BLue (Knotts) All the dissappared rides that I've been on and can recall have all been at knotts.
  5. Adding insult to injury... how horrible. Anyways hope you'll get to remain in Japan long enough to ride this. Then you can go ride Superman:Escape.
  6. Its not unreliable, its just got a whole bunch of safety features that makes it "break down" so often. As for the whole falling out thing, maybe there should be a sign to let guests know that the real restrain is the lap one and that they're not going to die. Also, I dunno why you think its so crappy, besides you, everyone else I've heard reviews from have said its awsome.
  7. Doesn't have the overbank into the brakes, but its one of the best ones I've found, and its not like they just cut off the video right when the POV ends, so its all goo.d http://www.coastersims.com/norestraint.asp?action=viewarticle&articleid=85&page=1
  8. Wow man! Thanks for the awsome pics! I haven't been following the construction of this ride so much, and to now see this has got me really excited! Whats even better is there's a good chance I'll get to head out to HW this summer just to ride this.
  9. wow, looks nice!! I wonder if Knotts will ever finish thier website...
  10. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure you'll learn all that in training.
  11. ^ yea, easily the best one so far. The cross is what sold it for me.
  12. 0, i imagine I'll have to get one if I go to a park outside of CA.
  13. ^ thats to bad all that happened, as far as layouts go, it looked pretty good. It was just the design of it that ruined it. "Twas lack of planning that killed the beast."
  14. Well, the 0 g roll looked like that of Patriots, or Silverbullets, or Talons (which is actually the I like them say over the Batman 0 g's (or revolutions)) but what caught my attention was the jr Immelman. It really looks like the immelman was designed for force and speed.
  15. ^ some of those aren't very "stupid GPish" In particular the where's X question, or the how many Immelman's are on this ride. Sounds more like questions they want to know because they can't recognize the element but you blabbed to them about it and they're curious.
  16. ^^ I practically crapped myself. Its so true!!! Here's another one I heard a long time ago. "Cedar Point Coverts itself with a tarp that stretches over the whole island so it can be open during the winter. I know cuz I saw it in real life." I still don't even know what that thing was smoking to this day, but whatever it was, I think I'll stay far away from it. <>
  17. Its gotta be one of those rides that dangle you over the edge of the stratosphere. Freaky! What must have been even freakier than that is mounting it onto the side of the Stratosphere.
  18. Last time I was there, they called Tatsu "Ninja" as well as "Ninjitsu" Go figure.
  19. I personally think it looks like crap(surroundings, and everything else about it, and rides just look meh), and if I ever went near the place and didn't go, it would be no sweat off my back.
  20. When a park has a collection of say, a fair ammount of coasters, IE SFMM, Knotts.... They should have at least 1 - 3 coasters specifically designed with the coaster enthusiests in mind, IMO, to keep the enthusiest happy as we are thier loyal customers, that guy who walks into your liquor store everday to buy some soda, or w/e. It would be more of a thank you for being a good customer, now go crap yourself over this ride sort of thing. The only park that I know of that specifically goes out of thier way to build roller coasters for enthusiests is HW, and they seem to do pretty good. Why? Because Coaster enthusiests have good taste in roller coasters, as well as HW just has a very good family friendly enviornment, which I think is the biggest thing any park should have. And as long as they have that, they can basically throw in any decent to great coaster and the customers should be happy....
  21. ^ well, I'm not entirely certain that this poll will come back and hit you in the face..... But I guess we can go with that.
  22. You might want to look at Flamingo Land for that. Supposedly they're looking at Gravity Group, GCI, and Vekoma right now for a wooden coaster, so who knows, maybe you'll see one in a year or 2, or maybe 3.
  23. ^ according to Jim Hill Media, some X-imagineers got thier revenge when they got hired by Universal to build IOA. The whole Lost Continent area where Dueling Dragons is was basically what Beastly kingdom was sort of suppose to be.
