^ I'm pretty sure that Reverse Blast is permanent. I kind of miss the forward-then-backward experience. I wish they would operate one side normal, the other reverse blast. I have it kind of envisioned in my head; Right when the queue line splits, there are two signs. "Mr. Freeze" on the left, "Me. Freeze: Reverse Blast" on the right... Oh, enough of the fantasizing. Besides that, SkyScreamer looks AMAZING! That thing is tall. That is going to provide a great ride experience! Perfect addition to the park skyline.

Watch out, you might find a hidden message in there! Anyways, namtaB seems like it would be a pretty awesome experience backwards. Maybe it will make it's way down to Texas one of these days. I'm not a huge fan of this trend of backwards coasters because I still like and prefer the forward coaster experience, but this seems like it would be cool. Very interesting idea. Definitely doesn't look like it's for the faint of heart. Some of those pictures look so unreal!

Granted, but now your out of wishes. I wish I had a cheeseburger right now. -
Here is the latest drought map. Keep in mind the coast had severe weather that brought in as much as 7 inches in some areas; however, this most likely didn't really effect Arlington. I wouldn't see Six Flags running their water effects for quite a while. So no waterfalls or mist, sadly. I really liked that theming. Updated 4/23 Published 4/25 courtesy of droughtmoniter.unl.edu

probably because much of Central Texas is still under severe drought conditions? (so conserve water where you don't need it -- ie: not in log ride, or Roaring Rapids) just a guess tho. Correct, Texas is in drought right now. Although, my area (Houston) got as much as 7 1/2 inches last night. However, nothing much up north in Dallas. If I'm not mistaken, Fiesta Texas will do the same with their waterfall as San Antonio almost never gets rain according to my family that lives there.

Every time I've been there, including major holidays, the lines for the Steel Eel and the Great White never exceeded 10-15 minutes because, simply, people go for animals, not rides. The line for the Steel Eel is usually shorter. If your going for animals, you're going to have to push and shove a bit but nothing too terrible. The only thing that's crazy is the restaurants. Eat earlier or later. I hope this helps; it was this way on thanksgiving break.

Wow. I can't wait to ride this thing. It looks incredible. RMC really outdid themselves this time. I have alot of great memories of the original Rattler so I can't wait to ride it again and create more memories now that it's the Iron Rattler.... plus it's considered another credit and I don't have that many so I kinda need it. I like how they left the lights on in the tunnel, it really shows how tight it is. I never knew it was that compact. Lets just hope they keep them on! I think they said they would in a video but nothing is for certain.

What ruins your ride flow?
boardwalkbullet91507 replied to Coaster Curt's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Even worse than MCBRs that bring the train to a crawl... MCBRs that bring it to a HALT. I'm referring to the Titan at SFOT. It has incredible pacing and the MCBR isn't that long so it stops you really quickly as your coming in with some speed. It's supposed to help recuperate as some black out at the double helix, but I always recover before the train hits the MCBR. It's just something that always irks me a little. The front cars always dangle off the edge a bit and its pretty uncomfortable. In more general non-specific terms, there isn't really anything that ruins my flow other than bad pacing. But that's kind of a given. -
First Defunct B&M?

I'm not too sure about LED going defunct. I read on screamscape a while back there are still about 10 employees on payroll at the park for security and maintaining the rides, so assuming that that are doing their job, the ride should still be in working order and ready to operate whether it stays or goes. -

Yeah....Kumba isn't going anywhere. -
I've cracked two ribs before in kindergarten when pushing a chair across the carpet at church, the chair flipped after it got caught in the carpet and I ended up taking a chair leg to the chest. It left a bruise in the shape if the chair leg and two of m ribs cracked.

Five Guys voted favorite burger chain
boardwalkbullet91507 replied to gisco's topic in Random, Random, Random
Yes! Whataburger is awesome! I love their spicy ketchup! It's a shame it's just a limited batch. As far as five guys, there is one by by house and its awesome. Those Cajun fries are incredible. -
First Defunct B&M?

Well, LED is SBNO, so as Robb just said, it could very possible be the first. B&M has an 0:85 defunct to operating/SBNO ratio right now which in my opinion is a great achievement for any coaster manufacturer. I personally don't see a defunct B&M in the near future as even the worst B&Ms still run decently. -
Man I can't wait to ride this. I'm fortunate to have Two Six Flags parks nearby to go to, BOTH with RMC goodness. Iron Ratter is looking great! I like the LED's on Texas Giant, but I'm still hoping for rattlesnake rattle sound effects in the tunnel like in the promo. But it's a promo. Can't believe everything in the promo. Time will tell but we are now just a month or so away from opening!
