I can't stand it! I think it looks tacky. But It could be worse. At the Kemah Boardwalk and Galveston pleasure pier, they have to say "Visual scan", put their hand to their forehead and do a full 360°, lean over the control panel, look down and up. It looks so funny. I guess this isn't really the thread to talk about this on, but I was just about to comment on it and backed out and just saw yours. I just had to give my 2¢.

Looks like both Rocky Mountain I-box creations will snag #1 & #2! Looks great. I'm not quite sure if I 100% understand the tunnel part. Is there track in the tunnel yet at all or is that last? On a side note, I'm glad that Road Runner won't be hugging up in the rattler too much. I love the first drop through the Rattlers lift but after that the ride looks much nicer in the open air. And, looks like your going to pick up a little bit of speed going up to the lift!

Chance (Morgan) HyperLite

I don't really see any comparison between these and Intamin's mega-lites. To me, mega-lites are more compressed and Chance's hyper-lite just looks like a scaled down version of their hyper coasters. It's longer and makes more gentle turns. I've never ridden a mega-lite so I can't base off of ride experience, just visual appearane. -
Why did I divide sin(x) by tan(x)? Just cos! Math nerds, get it? I found this online. It definitely goes under the tacky category.

How many bones have you broken?

I was pushing a chair at church across the carpet when I was like 4 or 5 and the front legs ended up getting caught in the carpet, the chair flipped over, I went with it, my chest landed on one of the rear legs and I cracked a rib. Not very fun. -
The Speaking/Forensics thread
boardwalkbullet91507 replied to the ghost's topic in Random, Random, Random
I did speech/debate my freshman year and it was extremely time consuming. My coach ended up becoming my AP and we got a new coach mid-year. It was crazy, I won't forget staying up until 2am working on a case. I did a spoof of twilight with a friend of mine for duet and duo interpretation where Edward was his actual age (like 107) and I had to act elderly. The judges loved it. My partner ended up perusing a dramatic interpretation so we ditched the duo and I did an oratory on superstition that was a measly 5:00 long. My coach made us eventually all experiment with debate, so I did Lincoln Douglas for ONE tourney and I think I only won one round. We ended up debating whether or not juveniles should be tried as adults. I was also on varsity swim team so I ended up quitting after my first year to focus more on swim and the load is much less heavier than it was. I'm not sure how high cool forensics differs from collegiate forensics, but this is my experience with debate. One thing I do miss is the look on people's faces when I told them I was member of the NFL. (Debate nerds know this quite well.) -
That's what I'm thinking. If you look at videos of their other models, the coasters are typically in a field with some trees and water nearby, just generic terrain. Why would GCI go through the effort of 3d modeling the cliff and other rides in the park for this one specific coaster? I put a wooden coaster for the boardwalk on the survey. It's perfect for that part of the park too. Plus, SFFT needs a wood coaster now that IRat is opening, and from a legit manufacturer with a good rep too.

The paint was real faded this summer and even worse when I visited for the Christmas Celebrtion. Looks really nice!
