  1. When people say QUEUE LINE!! Um, herro! A queue is synonymous for a line! I guess maybe if it's a really long line, then you can wait in a line line, but outside of that, it is a queue or a line. It is not acceptable to say queue line.
  2. HAHAHA EB, this is hilarious! Quite possibly made my day! Though, I am jealous you got to ride EGF. Are you going to come with Hans and I in early July of 2011 to ride her? You should! Jordan "I think I'm a nice American" Darrington
  3. Was his method of tying off simply setting his carabiner on the ladder rung? I certainly hope not. I will be the first to say that I have a fear of unrestrained height. Tie me off and I am fine, don't tie me off and I would freak.
  4. Is there any information about Djurs Sommerland's new coaster, other than it is a Mack water coaster?
  5. Wassup, Boulder! Edit: For the sake of having a real post, I will add a little something. Remember, that 2 years before the park opened, Elitch Gardens had one of the worlds top coasters in Mister Twister right down the road. And Lakeside's Cyclone had already been running for 25 years. Denver was quite the hot market back in these here days. Maybe something crazy next?
  6. Anytime I see a Photo TR from Invertalon, I get excited. You take, arguably, the best pictures. (Hanno, you take great ones, too!) Excellent pictures as always. Thank you for posting!
  7. ^By no means feel bad! That was the least of my intentions! I, along with a lot of other people (I think), didn't expect much of the park. Maybe it was just me (and Chris, EB and Hans) that thought there was a lot to do and a lot we didn't get to see, namely, the flume and water park. Regardless, I had a fantastic day at the park and was even more excited about Europa the next day. Jordan "Was looking forward to driving through Switzytown, too" Darrington
  8. But seriously, I didn't expect much going in to the park and I have to say, it turned out to be one of my favorites. U571 was probably my favorite non-roller coaster of the trip. I really wish we had the opportunity to stay longer, though, since I feel like we had just a little while to do everything. Slash I really just wanted to go to the water park! Great park, but I have to say, I am very excited for the next update! Jordan "Almost missed the bus to Germany" Darrington
  9. ^^Haha, that is funny. I wonder how Google takes it satellite images where trains would appear to be that close together? ^ I disagree about the "weirdness" of Dominator's cobra roll. The image wasn't taken directly above the ride as it appears to be slightly to the east/right of the park. As in, the camera wasn't directly down on the ride, and was shooting more to the west. Make sense? If it was shooting straight down, than Alpengeist has one terrible looking cobra roll as well.
  10. Thanks, Robb! Um, I think there is one thing missing from this fair though (unless I happened to over look it)... Clearly, a necessity at any German fair.
  11. Quoted for absolute truth! ISpeed is the perfect combination of speed, height, inversions and transitions. More coasters should be like iSpeed! I thought you were on Team Katun due to the rides employees Hahaha. Totally forgot about the hot brunette at Katun. She changes things a little.
  12. I congratulate you for giving newton2 a spin! I have been telling myself for awhile now that I will try out newton, but haven't gotten to it yet. Just as one thing to keep in mind, make sure your track passes the tunnel test. The first support out of the station violates the rule. Not a big deal, just make sure you give that consideration, too, when trying custom supports.
  13. ^It's hard to explain the rides were quirks and anomalies. It is a very strange ride, but a blast (pun intended?) at the same time. You might just have to ride it to understand it. Thanks for posting, Robb! Can't wait for the rest.
  14. Though I have not ridden one of these slides, I have to say the most intimidating part is not the going upside down part. It is the waiting in the release room just waiting for the floor to drop.
