  1. hey dude thanks, let me clean it up now and ill send you the latest version when its done. hope that works!
  2. WOAH! thats about all I can say about this ride, its going to be so tight. It looks really excellent with all the swooping turns and twists. So far, that picture beneath the city walk caption looks like its going to be a blast. With the fast side to side motions thats its doing. Cant wait to ride this one, and I really cant wait to see the lift hill/first drop/ weird loop be built!
  3. Those pictures definitely are sweet! The lift hill looks steep from that picture but one thing I noticed is the station really isnt anything fancy. When CP built Maverick (Kind of the same theme, same colors etc) they had white water landings buildings to use but I still seemed CF put more money into theming maverick than the are doing for diamondback. I guess I would have liked to see a little more "fancier" of a station
  4. Update!!! With all the feedback I have gotten, I am running through the ride again and fixing everything I was told including elminating transport devices and fixing banking issues just to name a few. Im really excited for the final product. When I fix everything, Id like a last set of eyes to make sure the corrections are right, is that cool? haha. Everyone who has helped so far...I will definitely cite you in the coaster info! I thank you for your help. Dr.gumbo-from far away it looks like the the objects arent textured at all but up close they are. This is my first coaster using OC and Im still getting the hang out the program, but I dont know a way around using any texture above 128x128. So in fact the pyramids are textured, I stole the small texture off of a real picture of the pyramids so its pretty legit. If you have any ideas though, Id really love some help and Id like to hear them! Thanks again
  5. sounds good. im just "writing an essay" due tomorrow in class.
  6. absolutely!!! I can shoot you an email as soon as I get your address!
  7. Matthew! Thanks so much for testing. Whats your emails address. or mine is theme_park_man@yahoo.com if you dont want to put it on here. Thanks again!
  8. For future coasters, I have to say I cannot wait to ride manta. It looks so spectacular. I also look forward to doing a tpr trip to europe someday and maybe even an east coast trip. I would love to ride furius baco and dragon khan and really all the coasters at port aventura. black mamba of phantasialand and expedition geforece of holiday park as well. In asia, id love to check out eejanika and dodonpa. chinas new woodie looks cool as well. jet ski coaster in sea world also looks like a blast. and in the nation, fahrenheit and ka and boulder dash etc. I have a huge list and Im so excited about the thought of maybe riding some of these someday, all those sentences are like fragments. nice!!!!!!
  9. The lift hill took some time, there is 6 towers i believe, the upper part is easy but the bottom part took longer. It follows the MF support structure with 4 nodes on the outside of the tower and then 4 nodes inbetween those. 8 per level, per tower haha. Would you be willing to test it?! I really need testers
  10. Are you talking about keeping the water of the trains/riders? I dont know if that is the case, but I definitely thought the splash was coming from the trains and not a cannon. All the pre construction pictures have it look like its coming from the riders right wing, and the latest update on johnnyupsidedown almost looks like there is a trench to allow something to glide through the water. Either way, its going to make this ride unique and a lot of fun for riders and watchers
  11. This ride is going to be so sweet. I cant wait to see it be built and eventually ride it! But like everyone said, hopefully it'll be maintained and maybe colussus will get some lovin' too!
  12. Ba'ate'el is Mayan for war. The Mayans were known for the war tactics and stratedgy, and were constantly at war with their neighbors. This coaster displays the intensity of war displayed by the mayans. It stands 312.5 feet (95.25 M)above the ground and reaches speeds of 94 mph (151 kph) upon its 95 degree decent back to the ground. The track is 7042.4 feet in length totalling over 1500 feet in total drop. It has 4 overbanked turns ranging from 135 degrees in banking to 95 degrees. The first element is a large swooping overbanked turned 225 feet above the ground leading into a massive floater hill nearly 200 feet in height. This ride also contains a large helix right above the water traveling over 65 mph which then dashes in and out of ancient mayan ruins. The creation of Ba'ate'el has taken nearly 5 months, with the idea being formed in October with the final product being completed in February. I did not use any add on programs and built the track from hand, no elementary or AHG. I want to thank Coasterman390 for his help in smoothing the track out and some 3ds as well as Griffonluv for additional help. As you can tell, I still need to jungle the entire setting and I also have to make the q line. Before I say the ride is all said and done though, I was wondering if I could get some people to check the ride. Tell me where I can smooth the track, or re support it in a more real fashion. Thanks for the help!!! This is from the first element, a large overbanked turn (135 degrees) looking at the 95 degree drop and the 200 foot floater hill. This is the final floater hill before entering the brake run. It dashes in and out of mayan pyramids! From the back looking towards the station (village) and the rest of the ride.
