  1. Its nice to see that according to the hard hitting fact checking by the press, that both Kingda Ka AND Dragster opened this year. I had a cross between Millenium Force and Collossos in my head until the memo mentioned it would be built by Pax, at which point it turned into a shuttle loop with a cobra head on it. I feel the terrorists' may be winning...
  2. Sabu kicked me in the face stage diving at an ICP show. And I've seen Necro Butcher punch out this guys grill with a staple gun. Later Mad Man Pondo put Corporal Robinson through 2 folding tables off the top rope to the ground right in front of me. I'm not sure how much of a wrestling mark that makes me, but I'm waiting for my rematch with Sabu. -Don
  3. Poor Monica got thrust right into nexus of coaster tomfoolery. She was a good sport though and actually was still taking to me by the end of the night. I'm sure me being her ride home had nothing to do with it! (j/k she had a great night too!) That night was awesome, even though I still have a big Robb indentation in my side from the mine ride. Thanks to everyone for coming out, and for NOT calling me "Don Knotts" for playing haunt tour guide! -Don "Afraid of what I just created" Knotts...er, "Haunt Boy" will do.
  4. That was the greatest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. I am currently re-routing my euro trip this summer. Dude...seriously. And thanks for the Danish Buns!!
  5. Ice Mountain Bobsled at Enchanted Forest in OR. It was built in house and totally rocks! http://www.rcdb.com/id238.htm Think of it as a budget matterhorn. I've actually got an old hi-8 POV of this somewhere. The rest of the park is pretty cool too. They actually made a haunted mansion walkthrough that looks pretty good from the outside. -Don and heres a shot through the cage of doom your trapped into. Heres the lift going into the faux matterhorn
  6. Green scrubs, work is going pretty well today. oh, and stinky socks
  7. Attention US Fairs: Burn all your tilt-o-whirls and yo-yos and get some quality European flats! That fair looked insane, especially for it's size. I definately keeping an eye out for fairs in Europe next year. -Don
  8. Hey guys, check out this video I found. http://www.dirtythug.com/downloads/torn.mpg Much better than my last rap video.
  9. ^ Nah, ah...some of tha dopest-est ganstas come from the suburbs...represent! I for one like the hybrid Jungle/Urban-Bling combo, plus you won't be able to compare it with the other two Goliath-esths. Yay for each Goliath being different! No matter how absurd. -Don
  10. How does rapping about necrophilia and carnival rides qualify as "Moronic Bull***t"? Sounds like a fun night out for me! woot woot
  11. There is one at 9:30 pm for sure, the other two are at 8 and 11:30 I believe, I don't have the schedual with me here, but 9:30 for sure. Also, I just went this week, the Improv at the Birdcage and the prop comic in the Boardwalk Ballroom were both really good. The Hypnotist and the Sword Swallower are pretty tame but the two comedy shows are must hits if time allows. -Don -edit- I have the schedual now for thursday the 13th "The Happiest Hanging on Earth" 8:00/ 9:30/ 10:00 "The Chipper Show" Boardwalk Ballroom (Prop Comedy, Juggling) 8:45/ 10:15/ 11:45 "HACK'S! Side Splitting Improv" Bird Cage Theater (Very Funny Improv) 7:30/ 9:00/ 10:30/ 12:00am - last two shows recommended for Mature Audiences "Ed Alonzo's Howl-O-Ween house party" Magic/Illusions, two dance numbers 8:30/ 10:00/ 11:30 - Honestly his worst show in 3 years, the magic is still really good...if you've never seen it before. The dance numbers/songs are way down from last year. "Zamora's Side Show of the Bizarre" Camp Snoopy Stage (Fire eating, body piercing, electroshock) 8:00/ 9:00/ 10:30/ 11:30 No need to get there early for this one, the stage is real small and the show can be seen really well from the midway. Interesting if were passing by at the time. "The Haunted Hypnotist" Wagon Camp (People from the audience fall asleep onstage) 9:00/ 10:30/ 12:00 Never seen it, might be good, who knows. After the hanging I would like to recommend one of the two later Hack's shows. Honestly it was one of the funniest shows I've ever seen and stars "Wolfgang" from past Dr. Clever shows. Also he was in the D.U.H. show at DCA among other things. Very good. Also the prop comic was pretty good, other than those two the rest of them can be missed for mazes, scare zones, and exclusive fried chicken time (EFCT). -Don
  12. Well, there's only 3 currently and I haven't heard anything safety wise however I was visibly shaken after riding the one at Prater. I don't have a whole lot of faith in chairswings as it is, let alone one 200 feet in the air. I wonder if the strat in vegas has thought about this one. I'd love to ride their bell thing though! -Don
  13. LUCKY! I've never made it to a Hallowicked show. OWNAGE
  14. Probably slept with his girlfriend cause he was a nerdy. I've seen it a thousand times. "You guys are dumb cause I can't play...whaaa...I'm going to listen to coldplay...sob.."
  15. I think something here can be salvaged. How about the Buttes you speak of? I believe there are lots in the Rocky Mtns. Crested Butte is probably my favorite, not that I keep track mind you. If I had to guess though I'd say that my Butte count is somewhere around 15, not counting Fjords, but then again I havn't been to scandi...yet! Tusenfryd and Fjords '07 here I come!!
  16. ^^^ fanatic...
  17. I'm feelin' that new Soopa Villians right now. I just saw Twiztid last week in Long Beach. That was the shizz. Whats up with the Forgotton Freshness 4 double CD thats coming out. A whole disc of Holloween songs, OMG. "I wanna beam on the Earth; Set Fire to Dirt."
  18. I went to see the ASIMO show at Disneyland and when they played the video of the wheelchair bound husband that the robot is supposed to help I blurted out, "Holy Crip! He's a crapple." Most of the audience seemed to enjoy it. Damn that was some funny stuff.
  19. Aww, you went to Lotte World! Lucky! I'd love to go but I don't see myself in Seoul anytime soon. -D
  20. ^ what the heck is that second one? Is it from captain planet or Magic the gathering? My idea was for a tat was Mr. T coming out of a tornado/vortex all genie like screaming with a gun to his head and his other fist around the neck of a cartoon chicken. Forgive my awesome paint skills but this is the general idea
  21. ^ Dammit I was just going to say that!!! I guess half of the log flumes in the world whould close too huh. -JJ, who thinks The Coasters should have been banned at the height of their career in the 60's
  22. OMG dude that whole area looks totally different now. Where exactly was the paving over OE's tracks? Was it on top of the hill by that station, and is that top station even still there? So much for the gardens, wow. Thanks for taking the pics, was Ninja open at least? -Don "Ninja's station should totally be moved to the bottom of the hill" G
  23. First rule of tattoos, never get anything that means something. There are only 2 people in the world who care about your tattoo, you and the guy who's not going to hire you because of it. Think about all the people who got Beavis and Butthead tattoos about 10 years ago, how do you think they feel now? Or those people that get their kids names inked on them, what is wrong with those people. I mean, if you live in a trailer park somewhere and you need a way for police to identify you when your found passed out drunk when they bring your kid home or something it might come in handy. Otherwise- extremely tacky. If I had to settle on a coaster theme tat though, I'd get Intamin box track that wraped completely around my leg in a verticle orientation, as if I just stuck my leg through some coaster track, that'd be pretty cool actually. -Jeezus "Will probably get a barrel of monkeys as his next tattoo" Juice
  24. Oh no! My seacret shame has been revealed!!! I actually used a different song for Santas Village (IL) this year, only because we wern't there very long and there's 3 other parks in the same segment. I can't wait for the Rudicoaster POV by the way. I gots my sleigh bells on and my ax wraped up, bloody ribbons and bows! -DCA "Skanta Claws" Don
