I think I like Oblivions drop better but Sheikra is definately a better ride. Racing underground after the drop on Oblivion is pretty sweet though. Oblivion only really does one thing, but it does it really well, as long as you don't have to wait 3 hours for it! -Don

There are some places in Nepal where there is very little or no electric power at all. What you have found is basically a shuttleloop with a rope attached to the front of the car. 6-8 of your closest friends have to winch you to the top for you to be released. And Knotts ride ops say they work too hard! I've gone to Magic Mountain in nov/dec the past with my SFMW pass and have had no problems. My friends have also used SFA passes late in the season there as well. You should be fine. -Don

What I thought was interesting was the preliminary sketches for the ride showing two camelbacks and even one with a loop! IMO they totally should've gone with the loop. I mean they might as well since they put OTSR on it anyway. BTW I have one pictures of the train parked at the base of the tophat with the black shroud. you know, depending on how strict you want to count, it only changes my count by about 10 coasters anyway. As much as we all argue back and forth on this 'issue' how much effect does it really have? I say we all go by a hi/low number. For instance, my count right now on coaster counter is 520, but I could easily strech that up to 530. I could probably get it up to 545 if I start adding in darkrides that act like coasters (Devil Den), or coasters that sometimes run backwards (Colossus). The thing I think that I'm most shocked by is this will be the first chocolate themed ride at the park (well, besides the kissing tower I suppose). Excuse me for thinking that a park built by a giant chocolate company would have at least a few candy themed rides. ^ Thank you Canobie Fan! Finally somebody gets it. Look, it's two seperate tracks, why is it my fault that the designers were lazy and reused the same support structure? And Racer is two as well. Why should I be screwed out of a credit just because the designers were trying to be all "new age". If you have to leave and get back in line it counts as a seperate track. This goes for Grand Nat'l too but not Daidaiasaurus. BTW I am THE definitive source on all things coaster count-y. Tha Don

No, by the time we got back to the car I just wanted to get out of there. Next time I'm totally doing it, as soon as I get into the parking lot. I did check out the drop tube and I think its just big enough for a nice frontside kickturn, but thats about it. Don't expect any 540's from me in an old dead german guys tube! -Don

It kinda reminds me of a Sky Coaster with all of the swing but none of the cable-y goodness. Still, I would definately try it if I didn't have to wait and it didn't cost too much.
