I agree, this is very interesting. Especially since Sheikra is only 200' tall... They already have an awesome hyper, and BGW doesn't seem like the type of park to put in a standard drop tower, especially with a taller one not too far away. Yippie! Could it really be another Dive Machine?! -Don

That park is the best place ever! An awesome coaster, trampolines, and a ball pit!!!! Everything I need to have a great day at a park!! Yeah, Yngve's not kidding about that slide. That thing does not play!! After a few practice running jump starts I was able to actually bottom out off of the last drop! I know that more of us are taking Europe trips now. Strasswalchen and Prater make for a great 2 park trip. Add in some awesome alpine coasters and Austria makes for a great Germany add-on!! Please go! I promised Erich, the park owner that I'd tell all of my friends to visit his park! It was seriously one of the highlights on the trip! Can't wait to see more pictures man! Be sure to find some embarassing ones of me! -Don

Well, sun or no sun, Craig is being thrown off of the Redondo beach pier one way or another. We call it a 'beach baptism'! He's going to be picking sand out of his nethers long after he goes back to the artic!

Allright, so to recap: Tursday evening: Mo and Craig cold chillin' at the KRH Friday: Them two at Knotts for the day and the evening dinner Sat: Them two + Guy (and whoever else) at Knotts again with the $23 coupons. Sun: All of the above at SFMM and then some guys house down the street. Mon: Don FINALLY makes an appearence and plays tour guide around LA. Kinda like the fat agent guy from Superstar Limo (more hair though) Tues: 'A CT Yankee in Disneyland's Forecourt' event with Donica, Craig, and whoever else shows up! Wed: Craig flys home to the artic and Monica and Don Parkhop their way back to the 5 and head home. YAY! Also I really don't think the actual Solace 'event' is even worth doing. For $23 (with coupon) you can get into the park all day and you won't have to get up crazy early for ERT's you don't really need anyway. Without the walkback tours and guest speakers Solace isn't really that much of an event anymore. They still sell the T-Shirts over by Ghostrider if you want one that badly, and the money you save can buy you more than enough food, and you don't have to fight ACERs for it! Still, it's a great day to hang out with everyone, even if the event perks are practically non-existant now! See some of you guys there! -Don

Wow Yng, your pictures are much better than mine! That really was one of the better Boomerangs, if you can believe it. The tunnel is actually really cool, probably the best part of the ride. Starflyer still scared the crap out of me though. If only the chair seemed less completely flimsy and totally about to fall apart I would've found time to enjoy myself! OMG, you actually rode that ferris wheel? The one with plastic lawn furniture for seats? You're one brave Norwegian! That park was pretty fun. Between the bumpercar disco, the 'hand you a pistol' game, and the fact that they had way more darkrides then any small city park should, this made a very fun first stop. Although, for being so close to Austria, that pretzle I bought across the street from the park was wrong! Yuck, it was all dry and crappy. Can't wait for Prater! -Don

^ Especially given that this coaster is only about 15 feet tall I'm going with the goof-off scenario. Hopefully this doesn't keep the coaster closed very long, otherwise I'll have to go find this kid and step on his oxygen hose.

Translation: WHAAA!!! Dorney didn't get one!!!! j/k! I think it looks pretty kick ass. I love the outward facing seats on Disk-O's, they really give you a lot of freedom of movement. Plus the park really hasn't had much in the way of new rides in a while, plus they;ve lost 2 coasters! I don't care if it counts as a coaster, ferris wheel, or what. I'm just glad the park got something cool! ...except with the marketing there's going to be hour long waits for a Disk-O! -Don

The Alpine coasters were so much fun! Even though I was in shorts the whole time. Who know that alpine peaks were cold all year? Oh, sorry Erik. I really should let people know when I make up acronyms. It stands for Green Beer, Cheer, and Fear; our very own SFMW event on March 17th, St Patricks Day. Appaerently, that's the day that St. Patrick kicked all of the crabs in Ireland back into the sea or something, so we're supposed to drink and ride coasters to honor him!
