  1. I've also noticed that in the front you experience greater positive G's. On a helix or quick turn, the front is where you get the most force. At least in my ride experiences
  2. That makes sense because Deja Vu's single rider actually hasn't been available lately (when I say lately I mean the last times it has been operating).
  3. It'll be interesting to see what happens to this idea...anyone remember the Coyote Canyon Theme Park idea in Arizona?
  4. I used to be terrified of coasters but I've always had an interest in them. How they worked, how high they went, how fast they went, etc. Because of that, every year I learned more about them, and every year I got more scared of them. I don't why, I definately wasn't scared of falling off or any accidents or anything, I just wouldn't go on one. And it wasn't just coasters. I wouldn't ride Log Rides, Flat Rides, anything. Finally, March 08' I went to Vegas and on the way I rode the Log Ride at Bufallo Bills. Then later that month I went to Northern California and went to CGA, SFDK, SCBB, and GG. I rode the kiddie coasters at each park and had a lot of fun. In April I rode Ninja and Revolution at SFMM. And in June, I rode my first big coaster that pretty much decided if I could ride/handle/like big coasters or not, Viper. Of course, I loved it. And now I love riding coasters, which added to the interest I have in them. I'd also have to say I really began to know and learn things about coasters in 2007. It could have been because I just became more active on the computer and found all these coaster sites, or maybe all the coaster books I read, or...I can think of a lot more. So basically before I started riding them, I guess I just looked at coasters the same since I've always liked other things about them besides riding them.
  5. Scream at SFMM. The first time I rode it, it was great. Then it slowly got worse. Now it's horrible. Silver Bullet and Superman: The Escape are some others.
  6. ^^^Yes, Zierer can make decent coasters...I don't know how you can make a kiddie coaster decent though. This was a great update, I've been wondering what the area was going to look like for a while now. And it looks good, I was a bit worried on how a Sesame Street themed area would look like in a park like BGE, but it fits in fine. BGE has needed something like this for a while now. And Grover, well...looks like a nice little decent coaster...I guess. EDIT: Uh...is it BGW now?
  7. That tunnel after the MCBR looks really cool. That roll will also be nice. This looks huge and great overall. It's nice to see Mack make something like this.
  8. The yelling asian guy was not only annoying, but not even much of a character. They'd do the lame "1 flag' then he comes blurting on saying "MORE FLAGS MORE FUN!". Then...uh...you're just like..."okay..." and then the amazing "5 dollar foot long!" comes on. There's really gotta be more news than "Mr. Six is back!". He's been back for a bit now..isn't there anything else interesting going on with SFMM besides Terminator and the 2010 coaster??? Since SFMM is just oh-so-excited, there should oh-quite-definately be daily news
  9. You plant them in the ground and wait for a coaster to grow. You...you don't know...oh no...
  10. What if the front page of the topic was updated every day, and you'd see someone going to this park and when. Then you'd reply to the person in the topic (but be specific about who you're responding to) saying if you can go. For example: CreditCrazy @ Knott's Berry Farm 1/1/100000000. "Hey CreditCrazy I think I can make it!" "Uh, okay...(I don't really like you) but...sure..." " " " " I also like the avatar idea, or to make it even more noticable, it could be on your sig.
  11. At first, I was actually pretty mad about how slow it was going up. Just had wood stacked and layout around...woo it went vertical...but now it's like they put coaster beans in the ground and boom...there's Terminator. And now I am one of the usual people saying "Wow, it looks great. Going up extremely fast!"...ha-ha.
  12. ^That is pretty much everything I am thinking about this ride. I can't wait to see how high it gets in the Mitch Hawker's Coaster Poll list. Too bad TPR isn't taking a trip over there for 09'. It seems to make a big affect on the poll.
  13. Not really, (I don't think anyone does) but you know them, they have their reasons.
  14. That definately has to be the best lift hill out of any coaster. [/i]
  15. Faster and faster each week. I can't wait to see the finished drop! Oh and that Goliath sign kinda looks like the "Hollywood" sign on the hills
  16. Yep, that awesome red Intamin track
  17. Xcelerator would have been the only reason for me to go to Solace. Screw that!
  18. Nah I'm not complaining about that. It's not like Pony Express is some big giant coaster completely ruining the atmosphere. It's just a nice little ride in the area. I'd still call the area peaceful - but Pony Express's colors could be a bit more "forest-ish" to go with the area. Oh and you can't forget those awesome Pony Express shots you can get in Bigfoot's line
  19. Still lookin' great. And I really like the way it's close to the water, it looks a lot nicer that way.
  20. There's also lots of flats and great water rides, but I agree. Not many of Knott's coasters are too great. - Xcelerator is amazing and perfect. - Silver Bullet is pretty good. - Ghostrider is pretty good. - Montezooma is decent. And everything else is really unenjoyable to me and I don't really bother with them. I'd say Perilous Plunge, Big Timber Mountain Logride, and Bigfoot rapids all make up for it though. They are all extremely fun. Knott's just has to have everything open. If everything I just mentioned is open, Knott's can be great and possibly even come close to beating SFDK which comes close to beating SFMM.
  21. Boomerang was rough in the front and smooth in the back? Wow, I think the complete opposite of it
  22. I actually don't mind the colors. I really like the way they're looking on Medusa, but I don't know, something about the Intamin track just makes it not look as good. Medusa's yellow really sorta "popped" out and so did SROS's old colors. Medusa's new paint still "pops" out (IMO) just not as much. But on Superman, you barely notice it. It just seems to blend in, and that's not the way the #1 roller coaster in the world should look/be.
  23. This is definately looking a lot better than I expected. It's really looking like a nice, great, fun, not-too-intense (although that non-inverting loop looks like it can be intense) ride. It'll also fit amazingly well with USO.
