24 Hour Theme Park?
CreditCrazy replied to Emiroo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
A 24 Theme Park would get everyone thinking: "Oh, let's go at 3am and beat the crowds!" Eventually no one would go to parks at normal times an 3pm would be ERT land. So...I'm up for the idea -
Six Flags Magic Mountain Terminator Salvation: The Ride

No, The Deadman's Turn doesn't hurt. It's smooth, just like most GCI's. Rough GCI's? There are some out there. Besides Gwazi, I hear Wildcat is rough, Roar (SFA) is, pretty much GCI's that got ruined by the PTC trains. -

I've only heard good things about SFOG, plus IMO the park looks great. Did it really used to be that bad? -

Turbine definately looks like one of the best Shwarzkopf loopers out there. Everything about it is just so cool, plus you have the awesome intense track Shwarzkopf Shuttle Loops have. And the park definately needs it. -
This is pretty sudden, you build Prowler, then try to sell the park it's at, and other parks. Just like Six Flags. And poor CGA. I was hoping Cedar Fair would help it, just like they did/are doing with the other Paramount Parks. CGA hasn't gotten much, and now it looks like it may not get anything again

Those trains really threw me off at first. They almost looked like laydown trains, but I'm sure they'll look normal with people in there. Blue Fire also now has a big part in the park's skyline -

That splashdown looks pretty cool. I wonder how much speed it'll take off the ride. -

^I don't know, this thing looks pretty intense, maybe not so much of a family coaster, but an awesome intense wooden coaster! -
Hehe I have the Miner Mike credit too I hope Rim Runner stays, I like the way it's almost carved into the "Canyon" and how it goes under Canyon Blaster. I agree that the Adventuredome has way too many rides now and is too small for it. I remember on my last visit in July it was extremely crowded and you couldn't walk anywhere without bumping into someone...or a ride. Way too squished in.

SFA getting a new coaster isn't helping the park in any way. Sure, when people hear about it they will come to the park to see it and ride it, but while they're there they'll see that it's just the same park with a new coaster thrown in there. A flat would be the same thing, so I hope while they're getting this new ride in Two Face's spot (since they're already spending some money on the park) they clean it up a bit too.

I caught a ride on Roar this past Saturday, and it's running in top shape again. The coaster got a nice chunk of track work replaced, and it's really brought back that nice GCI smoothness & speed IMO. (The first drop and turn around are greatly improved.) It even opened the season with two trains that seem to have gotten a bit of paint work over the off season, and that's first time I can remember that happening in years. You should be pleasantly surprised on your next visit. -Sean I agree, Roar has been good lately. I rode it in July and it had some rough spots, but after my ride in December it is now my #1 wooden coaster meaning it was great! I hope it stays that way and both times I rode it, even though one was a bit more rough than the other, it was still far from needing some GCI work.

What...??? Riddler's Revenge has a single rider line, I use it every time I go to SFMM. I even remember there being a sign up by Riddler's for it at one point to tell people about it since no one knew about it and used it, but they may have taken it away recently since I have not seen it in a while. But the single rider line is just going through the whole exit, then instead of going in the staircase to where you get off, take a small left heading the where the lockers are, and you'll see a little hallway with another staircase leading right to the station. That single rider line is great. It takes away Riddler's usually-long wait and can sometimes give you the front row (I've gotten it twice ).

That'd be great. I hope it happens. Nice little additions like that is what SFA needs. I do wonder what family ride they could put in Two-Face's spot though. I bet it'll just end up being some re-located flat. This does kind of tell us that SF will be keeping the park for the next few years...which could be a good, or bad thing depending on your opinion on the park...
