  1. Ha, that's pretty cool. I like how they have that. Now the general public can be in-the-know!
  2. Steel: 1. Tatsu @ SFMM. 2. V2: Vertical Velocity @ SFDK. 3. Xcelerator @ KBF. 4. Goliath @ SFMM. 5. Riddler's Revenge @ SMM. 6. Speed: The Ride in Las Vegas 7. Silver Bullet @ KBF. 8. Medusa @ SFDK. 9. Viper @ SFMM. 10. Wicked @ Lagoon. Wood: 1. Roar @ SFDK. 2. Ghostrider @ SFMM. 3. Giant Dipper @ SCBB. 4. Colossus: Left Side (or right, I'm not sure, but both sides are a big difference) 5. Grizzly @ CGA. 6. Roller Coaster @ Lagoon. 7. Colossus: Ride Side (or the other side..I don't know) 8. 9. 10. Kind of an odd list I guess.
  3. Of course, what could be better than a dancing old guy riding roller coasters And yeah, I was very glad when I saw he was back. It'll be good. I'm sure everyone (including General Public) will be glad to see him back. Bye Asian guy
  4. I like the front the most because it's usually smoother and you can really see the whole ride. For the most part you get more speed, and while you don't get as much air-time as the back, you definately get floater.
  5. Silver Bullet @ Knott's a couple weeks ago.
  6. Ouch well no need to worry about that anymore
  7. Whoa what? Motion sick thing? Do you mean motion sickness? I get horrible motion sickness but still manage to ride coasters. Just nothing that spins and no flats.
  8. SFMM! It was very gross, and worn out and...just bad. They are definately bringing it back and making it a lot better. Now lets see if they can do the same thing with CGA. Not a bad park, it just has nothing. No excitement, not a lot of good coasters, etc.
  9. Okay, when I first saw this thread I figured it was about Ghostrider and if it was rough or not. And yes I definately agree that California sucks when it comes to woodies. You gotta go to Kemah, Cliff's, or Silverwood to get on a good one. Ghostrider is very good to me, but it probably seems that way because I don't have other good ones to compare it too. Same with Giant Dipper (SCBB) and Roar (SFDK).
  10. I was a little worried for Ghostrider before I rode it because I'd heard it's extremely rough, and yeah it was rough, but also awesome. I mean it had everything. Speed, air-time, great pacing, headchoppers, a great/long layout, along with roughness, but I'm willing to deal with the roughness for the awesome ride that it is. But I am taking no chances and never riding it in the back
  11. Wow, if that NL creation is accurate, this will be a great GCI! Lot's of air-time, great sudden tunnels, a few rough turns but I bet that's just from NL.
  12. Whoa, I don't think you should forget about ALL SF parks just because of SFA. You shouldn't blame SF for not giving anything to SFA, it'd be a waste. Whoever's gone there probably isn't coming back even with a new ride. I really think the best thing would be for SF just to sell it. It brings SF down
  13. Yeah, I'm almost positive you can use your parking pass at all SF parks. I don't know about the other question though...
  14. I agree, Invertigo's actually are pretty intense! Especially in the first and last seats. You just kinda...fly through the loops. Hurts your neck a bit too.
  15. Oh...wow, never thought that'd be the reason...?
  16. I've blacked out on Boomerang @ Knott's before, when it was coming into the station from going backwards, and you slam on the brakes. I've also almost blacked out on Tatsu and Goliath @ SFMM.
  17. Well, it's not lookin' too good now. There was a possibility of doing a small Texas trip with SFoT and possibly Cliff's, Joyland, Wonderland, and Frontier City, but I don't know about that either. Then for the Ohio trip, instead of doing CP and Waldameer, pissibly CP and Kennywood or CP and KI. Not very good chances of either right now But just wondering for 2010, maybe if I did CP, Waldameer, and Kennywood, would it be possible to drive from a CP hotel, to Waldameer, do Waldameer, then drive to Pittsburgh all in one day? I'm thinkin' it could, if I left early, did Waldameer in just an hour, then drive to Pittsburgh. Doesn't seem too bad.
  18. Wow, I'm glad we can really see the whole layout now. These are great pictures. Manta really has an awesome layout. I love how right when you come out of the pretzel loop you go right into a turn and a twist. That'll be pretty intense. The colors look a lot better than I thought they would too.
  19. This is good that Carowinds is getting some love. They really need that hyper in 2010, finally a good coaster that wasn't re-located from another park. Now when is it CGA's turn
  20. I remember doing a project on New Zealand and being a coaster enthusiast and all, I had to have something coaster related in there! I got some pictures from the park, and used them in the project. It was kinda sad, that this is all New Zealand has. But this PTR definately showed the park very well, and even though it doesn't really have a good coaster, it really looks like a very nice park.
  21. Well, turns out it was Silver Bullet @ Knott's a couple weeks ago
  22. I haven't been on too many retired coasters (now that I think about it, don't think I've been on any). There was Speed in Las Vegas but now that that's probably re-opening it wouldn't count. I never got to ride Psyclone (luckily) and Flashback (unfortinately) but for coasters I want taken down: Boomerang @ Knott's. Montezooma's Revenge @ Knott's. Kong @ SFDK. Jet Star 2 @ Lagoon. Bat @ Lagoon. Vortex @ CGA. I know most of those are unlikely, but they're not fun, and they're not good rides IMO.
  23. Looks like a bit of straight track at the bottom of the drop. I wish they would add a tunnel or some other kind of effect to make it more exciting. That'd definately help
  24. That sounds really cool but also maybe a little like a "waste" in a way. Just to go to all those parks (and parts) of the world and only do Disney Parks. But then again, it is more of a "relax" or "real" vacation instead of a rush-rush-cush-CREDITS!-CREDITS!-CREDITS! Trip (of course you could make it that way ) Plus you'd still get on some nice coasters and rides. I think a lot of people would be interested.
  25. I hate when you're in line for a rafting ride and you see a bunch of empty or un-filled-up rafts going by. Especially when the line is long.
