  1. There's a ton I want to ride, so I'll just list the ones that might be possible to ride in a couple years: -X2 -Terminator -Tremors -Timber Terror -New Mexico Rattler -Mr. Freeze -Shockwave -Superman: Krypton Coaster -Poltergeist -Boardwalk Bullet -Maverick -Millenium Force -Top Thrill Dragster -Wicked Twister -Magnum XL-200 -Gemini -Ravine Flyer 2 -Sheikra -Kumba -Montu -Kraken -Rokin' Roller Coaster -expedition Everest -The Increadible hulk -Dueling Dragons (both sides) -Manta -Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit Those aren't in any kind of order.
  2. Probably Goliath @ SFMM. It's not intense at all, just nice, slow, and fun. I like how you slow down at the top and everyone starts freaking out, but the best part of it, is flying into the tunnel at 85 MPH.
  3. The GP is definately NOT going to stop me from getting all my credits, and some re-rides. And is Waldameer's waterpark worth going to...?
  4. Nah, not LZ: TR. If this ride is sold, I'd want it to go to a park where it could keep its theme, because it's theme has a big part in it. It coming to Carowinds would not fit. Not Eagles, they have a mine train, not SRR, they're good on kiddie/family rides, they pretty much gave SWW to HRP, so not that, then that just leaves Maximum RMP. I could see that fitting in the park, but I don't really think Carowinds needs it. They're good on family rides, now it's their turn to get a nice B&M Hyper or a nice Intamin etc. Not another no-big-deal ride relocated from another park. Plus, RMP has had a lot of problems, I wonder IF it'll even be sold.
  5. Oh, and I'd also like to do the water rides (well, SRF, and the rapids) what are lines like on those, and do they get you soaked? And hows the beach @ CP?
  6. Okay, that's good to hear. I thought they were both just being plopped down on XLC's spot.
  7. Wow, he station actually looks scarier than the ride! It looks amazing...but so does the ride. At first I was thinking the layout was a little plain with nothing unique, but now that I see more pictures, it looks like an amazing Euro-Fighter, and probably the best! And, even if the coaster was boring, or had nothing unique, the line would completely make up for it. I also see some air-time hills.
  8. Yeah, I thought both rides were going right in Hypersonic's spot...At least that's what I heard....
  9. I have two. They're both pretty good. A little old, but still fun to read. There's: - Roller Coasters. A Thrill Seeker's Guide To The Ultimate Scream Machines. By: Robert Coker. And Roller Coasters. By: Mike Schafer and Scott Rutherford.
  10. A SF or CF pass would be a good idea. CF is much more expensive, and I actually like SF more (Okay, kill me) so SF might be a better idea. You could buy your pass @ SFA the closest SF park to you, then go to SFGAdv, SFKK, SFOG, SFNE, Great Escape, etc. Any SF park that's near you. Some of those are pretty far away though, so it depends if you'd be willing to travel. If you decide to get a CF pass, you have KD, DP, Carowinds etc. Which are good parks too. Either one will get you to several good parks. And besides those, there's also a few other great parks worth going to in the area. There's BGE, Knoebel's, and HP. Those three would be worth going to, even though you probably wouldn't have a pass to them. Basically, whichever way you go, you'll get some good credits at good parks!
  11. I'd still count Boomerang, but it would be nice if they got LZ: TR. I'm not sure if they have the space for it though. And it'd have to be completely re-themed. Plus, Prowler, and I'd think HRP's rides would sell off in 1-2 years. Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea, because I think they should keep it's theme. It's really cool, and IS basically the ride! They need to find a park where it would fit well with it's theme...anyone have any ideas?
  12. Does anyone know if they will re-theme these flats? I hope they do, it'll look horrible having two new randomly themed flats in the middle of the park.
  13. Yeah, I know, but you can still get an idea of what it'll look/be like.
  14. Looks better than I thought it would. I've been a little worried about this coaster, not looking too good. It's too low. Sure, it'll be fast and have great pacing, but it should have more hills. It also looks a tad rough from the video, I think some of the turns are too sudden and should be banked more.
  15. The layout looks interesting, but the height will ruin it. 35 feet is extremely low. I can think of several kiddie coasters that are taller. This will just slowly make it's way through the layout. But, at least it's something. If you've seen Quassy's rides, you'd know they're nothing special. They're getting something, and hey, it's GG. How bad can it be?
  16. I have a lot of homeparks, so I'll just do my true one. Castle Amusement Park: Merlin's Revenge. Just a little vekoma roller skater. It's only competition is Little Dipper and Screamin' Demon, their new spinning coaster that I haven't ridden yet.
  17. I'm glad they will finally change the track to make it all Moragan. It's too confusing: Is it an Arrow? Is it a Morgan? And the track looks a little different too. The drop will probably be smoother now, and maybe even more fun? Right now it just looks like a taller version of Viper @ SFMM's drop.
  18. I've thought about Waterworld, and it probably would be fun to do, but I'm just not interested in waterparks/waterslides, but it might be worth it to go there. That really sucks that those two credits @ Lakeside aren't really possible to ride I'm a huge credit w*ore and want to get as many credits possible. And for Cedar Point, does every one of their hotels allow one hour early in the park?
  19. Okay, thanks. And I'd heard that CP is less crowded in May and June, but unfortinately the trip would have to be in July
  20. Hey TPR, I have some questions about a possible trip next year. The possibilities are pretty much: A. Denver Trip. Elitch Gardens and Lakeside Amusement Park. Or. B. Erie Area Trip. Cedar Point and Waldameer. Of course the Erie Area Trip would be better than the Denver one, but the Denver one would be a lot easier and cheaper to do. Whichever one I end up doing, I'm pretty clueless. Let's say I do the Lake Erie Area Trip. I'd like to keep the trips a week long maximum. So if I fly in on Day 1. Then spend ___ days @ CP, then 1 day @ Waldameer, will that be enough? Days @ Cedar Point: Cedar Point is a huge park, and I've never been there before. I'm not interested in any flat rides or the water park, but I would like to do all 17 coasters (and Gemini's other side) plus a few re-rides on the rides I love (I'm planning on those rides being Maverick, MF, and TTD). If I spend 1 day at Waldameer, then 2 days for flying there and flying back, will that be enough? Also, I'd probably stay in a hotel on CP since those let you in an hour early for ERT. Will I be able to drive FROM CP to Waldameer, and enjoy Waldameer all in one day? I probably wouldn't drive back, and just stay there, then fly back to SoCal the next day. So basically, can I do CP and Waldameer in 5 days? Lines: How are lines at both parks? I expect them to be pretty long, and I'm sure certain rides have extreme lines. Denver Trip. I really do want to dxo these parks eventually even though some people say it's not worth it. Do you think it's worth it? I know, that's a lot, but I definately want to make my trip worth it and know how to do everything, instead of hitting everything at the wrong times and waiting longer than I should. So, thans in advance
  21. I can't believe this. It opened as such a good park, and it looked like it could become an IOA. Now it's just all gone. And I wonder how the rides will be sold. If parks are going to spend money on a coaster right now, I think it'd be better to spend a little more for something decent or just wait. HRP's rides really aren't anything special. Plus, I wonder how the coasters will fit into parks. LZ:TR could probably sell, and I could see SWW fitting in a lot of parks, but the rest...
  22. I have a tie. Boomerang @ KBF in June. This was my first time riding this, and also my first Boomerang coaster. I sat in the very back (which was a horrible idea). We started going up, and I couldn't tell when we were done going up or if we were already there, but we didn't drop for an extremely long time. We were basically just hanging up there, forced to face forward and lean on your restraint. Finally, we dropped. It was a pretty tame drop, and a "whatever, no big deal" first half. Then when we dropped on the backwards spike, the pain and misery started. The backwards loop was the roughest, and most unenjoyable inversion/part of any ride I've ever ridden. It was just terrible. Then the cobra roll. It was also bad, but not as bad as the vertical loop. Then we SLAM back into station (where I actually blacked out for a few seconds) and slowly rolled back in, braking very hardly. I felt horrible before (scared, wondering how bad it'd be), I felt horrible during (you just read my post, didn't you?) and horrible after. It almost ruined my day. If you are not a credit w*ore, then skip this, there is no need to ride it. It's horrible. Here's another one. Not as bad as the last, but still bad. Colossus @ SFMM in June (bad month for coasters ) I'd already ridden it before, and it was pretty bad, but for some strange reason, I decided to ride it again. So, I won't explain the whole ride like I did for Boomerang, it was just overall: Bad, unenjoyable, slamming on brakes, extremely rough, long, and just....bad! I almost barfed after too. I had to sit on a bench for anout 10 minutes drinking soda, until I felt better. Then I got my first ride on Tatsu but that wouldn't be right in this topic, becasuse that was DEFINATELY not a bad experience
  23. Castle Amusement Park (at least 3 times) Scandia Amusement Park Adventure City Disneyland Disney's California Adventure Knott's Berry Farm (twice) Sea World San Diego Pacific Park Six Flags Magic Mountain (at least 6 times) Las Vegas (3 times) Lagoon Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (3 times) California's Great America (twice) Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (twice) Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park I think that's everything.
  24. Oooh, I had a ton, but these two would have to be the best: Riddler's Revenge @ SFMM. I think it was in September, I'm not sure, but it was such an awesome ride. I got front row (thanks to single rider line ) And I got everything. A ton of hang-time, so much speed, force, and even some air-time on the bunnyhop! Aw, it was just great. Roar @ SFDK. Actually it was a couple days ago, and just like Riddler's, it was running great. It gave an increadible ride with air-time everywhere, constant speed, great pacing, and a long ride. It was also a night ride
