  1. Continuing... Oh and in-case you're wondering, Pony Express was caught be Supreme Scream and hasn't been seen since... How many cobra rolls are in this park? Where could Supreme Scream have put Pony Express and its hidden Zero-G Roll? All Silver Bullet. All the time. Oh look, it's Jaguar! With an exclamation mark! (oh and btw, look at that steep drop!) Jaguar, Montezooma's Revenge, and FIESTA GAMES ALL IN ONE PICTURE!!! Dip!!! Look at that pre-lift! Whoa, what's that? Getting closer, getting closer! why's the tower wobbling!? Is this ride faster than that one Pony ride that just suddenly disappeared? The boardwalk just isn't the same withoutcha Perilous Plunge Oh, it's the coaster bully. Wipeout will be sure to wipe you out. IT'S GOING TO LAND ON US!!! You just can't get enough of Xcelerator. To be continued...again...
  2. Here's a PTR of Knott's from a couple months ago, just thought I'd post it. I also have a few other PTR's from the off-season that I'll post soon. My Ride-Count: Silver Bullet x3 Calico Mine Train x1 Bigfoot Rapids x1 Pony Express x1 Ghostrider x2 Jaguar x1 Sky Tower x1 Pictures: Can you spot the Ghostrider sign? And the train? I can Poor tree. It probably can't hear anymore. Orange Bullet. Does this ride go upside down? Hey Monte. Second best element evah! OMG, am I like, upside down right now? I'm not sure...I'll have to think about this one... I'm going to go with yes. Oh yeah, uh...hey Supreme Scream. We're kinda busy with somethin' else here...so if you don't mind... WRONG!!! Pony Express doesn't go upside down you stupid general public guy idiot!!! Go away Bigfoot!!! Wait...or does Pony Express go upside down? Could that be a hidden Zero-G Roll? Hiding from the cops? (I guess Supreme Scream got a job) Well, I think they've found you. I'd run if I were you...oh wait I forgot, you can only go 38 mph. You like livin' life on the run, dontcha? To be continued....
  3. Some very cool pictures (especially the Kraken Challenge pics). The park looked so dead and empty, but I guess that is what you get you when you go to a Marine-Life Park in March.
  4. I really like that second drop (the one after the non-inverting loop). It looks very steep and unexpected.
  5. I would go with SFDK. It is by far the best park in the area. CGA shouldn't even be thought about. Gilroy Gardens is the nicest park, but can't fill up a full day. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a nice park, and I agree with everyone about the drive to it, but it's almost like every ride there besides Giant Dipper (which is great) is a carnival ride/flat
  6. It is pretty cool. And very big, there's 4 different courses.
  7. Those turns look sweet. The #1 coaster in 09' (IMO) still stays that way!
  8. It's still a little scary. It's on wheels. Might as well just be at the Ventura Fair again, but it is a good addition to the park. And don't forget your Vekoma Roller Skater credit without roller skater cars and the nearly killed miler.
  9. The drop looks so small from the angle the pictures are taken at. Maybe that's just because it twists to two sides, or...
  10. I really like them, especially the Great White ones. Too bad it was busy, but at least you got the credits, or almost all of them (no kiddie credit?). I can't wait to see the SFFT pictures, hopefully it won't be busy.
  11. Yes, Ghostblasters was open. I also haven't seen it open on my previous visits but I think it's just because no one wanted to ride. But there were actually people in line, and riding it. Screamin' Demon was okay. I agree, it was a crappy coaster and was very jerky on brakes and some turns but really a good ride for Castle Park.
  12. I like these newish trains, and the lap bars (first thing I noticed about them). But I am a little dissapointed that they're the same color as the track. I like when the trains stand out and you can clearly see them everywhere on the track.
  13. Hmm I'm not sure where I was... Which Adventureland?
  14. Looks a lot taller in a real picture. Almost too tall (will gp ride it?). A pretty intimidating ride (which is always good) and a huge splash to watch will be great and build some adrenaline.
  15. Screamin' Demon (new coaster). Those are very high-tech style train (s). Dragon Dragon Dragon. Merrrrrrrrrrrrrrrlin's drop (if it counts as one). Dragon Flyers (other new ride). The picture I could get of Screamin' Demon (he's still very new to the park and shy). A circle A floating star. Wait, that's not a star. The tunnel of happiness. Great scenary Going solo? It's falling! And...Sea Dragon. The End
  16. I went to Castle Amusement Park a couple weeks ago and since then, I've been trying to figure out how to get these pictures big. And now they are ready . Ride Count: Dragon's Tower x7 Log Ride 4x Screamin' Demon x2 Dragon Flyers x1 Little Dipper x1 I was really glad Little Dipper was open. It was my very first roller coaster and is still pretty fun. For a very long time it was missing a piece that couldn't be found, and from what I've heard it was going to be removed. When I went, it was running perfectly so I guess it's staying. But I got an on-ride POV of it just incase Since Castle Amusement Park is small and unknown, I'll try to make a "serious" PTR. It's really just random pictures of rides and things there, and I had no plan on what I would say for them. They were all taken in lines/walking through the park, and I did not get every ride. But I do go here a lot, so eventually I should have a nice collection of pictures of their rides. Dragon's Tower Falling Star What's wrong Merlin? (it was closed). Fireball Spider Little Dipper The Log Ride I don't know what the purpose is of this picture. Just enjoy it even though it sucks. The Log Ride's first drop (smaller than the second). What a nice, peacful picture. Ha, funny And to the right, you can see Castle Amusement Park's very own waterpark! Kings Crown... ...died... More of Dragon, the best ride in the park (unless you're a freak and you ride Fireball). Thunderbolt has been closed for over a year. Castle Park's miniature golf course. Chinatown! Spider's sign...
  17. Do you have to be a member of TPR to take a picture with Big Mike and get a raffle ticket (for example, a friend that you're bringing).
  18. Okay, I figured instead of starting a new topic, just go back to this one. I think the final trip will be... ...Cedar Point, Kings Island, Coney Island, and a good chance of Kennywood. I'm thinking of 2-3 (probably 3, if needed but 2 would be much easier) days at Cedar Point (at Breakers Express, probably) and a day at Kings Island (unless that isn't possible, I'll do 2). Is Breakers Express the cheapest Cedar Point Hotel? Cedar Point's website is very vague on hotels, and I couldn't find prices. Is there any idea of how much Breakers Express is, or even if it is the cheapest? How long do lines get at Cedar Point, Kings Island, and Kennywood? All parks would be done in July, and I would make sure to do Cedar Point on weekdays. What rides to get out of the way during Early Access to Cedar Point? Then what to run to after, and when rides fill up/are dead. Same for Kings Island, and I'm not thinking Kennywood will be tooo bad... If I think of any more questions, I'll just edit my post. Thanks in advance.
  19. It's always nice to have another Euro-Fighter. This one looks pretty fun, especially those intense little turns throughout the ride.
  20. This is great news. But I wonder what a "major new attraction" is to Six Flags. Wiggles World? Tony Hawk's Big Spin Clone? New Major Coaster?
  21. Those water dummies are lucky The ride looks very smooth and fun. It goes through the whole course at a nice speed and never really seems to slow down (except the Brake Run ). The pretzel loop looks perfect and so do the other inversions. The MCBR doesn't really seem to do much, like it's not needed. Manta definately looks a lot better than I thought it would going off of construction pictures.
  22. That's exactly how I think of Knott's, and they're definately just adding and adding. It's great to see new rides and coasters and you can tell Cedar Fair likes the park by paying attention to it, but in a way they're also hurting the park.
  23. Dull Boy - Mudvayne
  24. Cool Deja Vu's back open! And Terminator's drop looks very cool, I can't wait to see it in person for the first time at WCB
