  1. Yes I do. They could have the station and lift inside the park perimeter and use the back stage areas and parking lot for the bulk of the ride. Just look at Goliath at SFOG. After examining Knott's on Google Earth, I can't see any way they could fit a B&M Hyper. They're completely out of room, even if they went Goliath (SFOG) style. There's no room for an entrance. Not a little open space of land they could use, and even if they used part of the parking lot, there's no way to connect that path to the park. If they did find an entrance somehow, the ride would basically just be bunnyhopping on the side and over the freeway (if they could even find room there). I'm all for Knott's squeezing in another new coaster, especially a B&M Hyper, but I don't see how they could do it. This time, I think they may really be completely out of room.
  2. I really like where they're putting the flame throwers. Coming out of the dive loop, FIRE, then Zero-G Roll. After the Zero-G Roll would actually be my 1st choice but where it is now is still good. It'll be interesting to see how fire goes with a blue and purple coaster. -
  3. Yes, but I'm not positive if they're going to Knott's or not
  4. He's 13, he'll be able to get in.
  5. I don't know, are they?
  6. 1. Yes they do, look at Ghostrider. There is more room than you may think. 2. Silver Bullet doesn't have a roar. Just fill the tack with sand. You really think Knott's has enough room for a B&M hyper...?
  7. S&S Towers. They're pretty fun, they have a lot of air-time, and they don't make me sick like most other flatrides.
  8. Kind of, but I switched a few things around because... 1. The park was completely empty. I had everything to myself and could go to whatever. 2. Xcelerator was closed in the boardwalk and it was about to rain so Perilous Plunge was a no. So I kind of skipped the boardwalk until later, did Silver Bullet first, then Ghostrider. Skipped Pony, went back to Silver Bullet, then Boomerang, Fiesta Village, etc.
  9. Here's a good route to take at Knott's: Get there at opening, run to Ghosttown. Hit Ghostrider, then Pony Express. Skip Silver Bullet because it should be pretty busy right now. Continue heading north and you'll find yourself at the boardwalk. Hit everything there that you want, and hopefully all of it will be running by now. After the boardwalk head back down to Fiesta Village and do everything you want there. Continue down to Camp Snoopy, and now you should have done about everything except Silver Bullet. Ride Silver Bullet which will probably be a walk-on right now, and then re-ride anything you want.
  10. As much as I would love for that to happen... 1. Knott's doesn't have enough room. 2. New B&M Hyper + B&M Hyper Roar + Houses literally across the street = eggs and toilet paper at park entrance
  11. Because Robb put them there. I dunno, those turtles are pretty athletic. I wouldn't be surprised if they made their way to TPR themselves.
  12. That's great news! I gotta get to Knott's this week
  13. Does anyone see two animated turtles in a white square at the bottom of every TPR page? I think I've just noticed them today and I'm a little curious why they're there/what they're for/if anyone else sees them...????
  14. I've heard its been testing, not sure if it's open or if it will open this week.
  15. Packfanlv: I definately agree that SFMM is for coasters, Disney is for theme, and Knott's tries to be a little bit of both but fails. But Disney is theme to the extreme and SFMM is coasters times two, so you can't blame Knott's for just happening to be in thr middle. Atem122: Thanks, do I know you? Themeparkman25: Silver Bullet is a good, solid ride. It's not as good as some other inverted coasters (but the best one I've been on) but still a fun ride. It's very re-ridable which I like, the overbanked turn is an awesome element, the ride has a good layout, and the helix is very forceful! Definately look forward to it.
  16. Thanks! Everytime I went to Knott's last year the fountains were off, but yeah, as you can see they are back and probably staying.
  17. Yeah, the splash will come from backwards then shoot out in front of you and splash you in Ohio weather
  18. Knott's is a nice park, but there's also a lot of things that...should be done differently IMO. It's my homepark, so I go a lot but if I lived across the country and came to Knott's, I'm sure I would like it.
  19. Very nice pictures. Too bad SFFT was crowded too, just a bad week. Do you think one of the Batman clones was more intense or smooth than the other? Or were they exactly the same? Also, did THBS spin a lot?
  20. Because of the weather, does anyone know if SFMM will have the fire on X2 on or off?
  21. You'll definately need two days for DL&CA and if you go to SFMM from opening-closing, you should be able to ride everything or at least everything you want. Not sure if Xcelerator will be open by then. I've heard rumors of it being open by Saturday, but I can't confirm that. Rides to do at Knott's: Don't do Silver Bullet first. It usually seems to get a line at opening, then slowly goes down and eventually gets to about 5 minutes. Do Ghostrider first, that can get a line and it seems to be smoother earlier in the day. After Ghostrider head to Pony Express and get that credit. Then keep heading around the park to the Boardwalk. You can hit anything you want there since it hopefully hasn't filled up too much yet. Keep heading around the Fiesta Village, Camp Snoopy, then finally ride Silver Bullet. Now you have the rest of the day to re-ride whatever.
  22. I really think the Q-Bot is more for people traveling to the park, from far away. At big parks with a lot of rides/thinks to do like SFMM and SFGAdv, you pretty much need one to do everything. That, or you spend another day at a park. I see what you're saying on how it's pointless to get one, and just not ride that certain ride that day if you live close to SFMM, since you can just ride it another time when the line isn't as long. But I think they will do very well for first-timers at the park/travelers. I know if I went to SFGAdv I would get one. EDIT: Terminator thread...well uh, I can't wait to see it for the first time since November and get some pictures of it at WCB!
  23. The Ride I always knew SF & CF would team up together sometime.
  24. I'm glad Americana is going where it is. It fits in perfect there and looks very nice. I wish more parks would have ferris wheels. They have great, classic feels to them and provide great pictures
  25. Part 3 and unfortunately the last... And the FBI has been searching for Pony Express all over, still no sign of him... Did Knott's run out of red paint or something??? Knott's really needs to clean the windows in the Sky Tower. Whoa, Supreme Scream cut off a tower! Or maybe Pony Express took it when and or if he escaped. Going dowwwwn. Pre-Lift? Four Coasters....IN ONE PICTURE!!!! Boomerang, play nice with the others! If you ride Boomerang, don't blame Knott's. Blame yourself for riding it you stupid general public guy idiot!!! No supports on the loop? Riptide got its fountains back. Like I care. Oh why hello there Ha, they thought they had a chance. Floating swing. And I'll end this PTR with Silver Bullet fighting with Montezooma's Revenge. The End
