I absolutely hate the "natural male enhancement" commercials like Enzyte. Not only are the commercials annoying as hell, that stuff DOESN'T WORK! It's physically impossible for a pill to make your... thing... bigger.

Fireball - Happy Valley Shanghai, China

^And, last I heard, those single-bench PTCs still had two pairs of wheels per car. Which really completely destroys the notion of "articulated." The length of the cars, and thus the length between the wheels, was dramatically decreased, so while it will track better than the double-bench trains would, they still won't track as nicely as an articulated train (ala Millennium Flyers). Ravine Flyer II was originally going to be the first coaster with these single-bench trains, but they changed it at some point before opening because they didn't want any problems with the opening of the ride. And as of right now, I haven't heard of any other rides getting these new PTCs, so who knows if we'll even see them. -
Dayum, had I known this would happen, I would've fixed it last night before I went to sleep. Anyway, pics are fixed, so they're back up on the first post. Sorry it took so long, life got in the way. Trying to graduate college is a pain in the ass.

Odd, now they're broken for me... I'll just remove them and figure it out tomorrow. I'm too tired right now - it's 4:15 AM and I need sleep. For now, just check out the pics at my Dev Center page.

Plus, the fact that each car on a PTC train has wheels in the front and back doesn't help the matter. The cars are just too long and don't have very good maneuverability. (So, basically exactly what DBru said. ) -
Really? They work perfectly fine for me...

That looks fantastic. I'm loving how much airtime it's gonna have. Any word if it'll have more than Voyage? It looks to be close, if nothing else. -
So for my next NL coaster to release, I went with a GCI woodie. For the most part it's pretty good. Very twisty with airtime thrown in here and there. A nice station fly-through is included halfway through the layout, but I don't have an actual station house to enclose it - I have no idea how to make a station with a roof (is there any way to add the wooden catwalk elements outside from the track itself? I can't find a way to add them wherever I want them...). The supports were auto-generated, because I didn't feel like spending years adding them by hand. The first drop is a little pumpy, but aside from that I don't think it's awful. Robbie & Natalie keep Freestyle Music Park in Business

FMP just crossed into the CF zone - Roundabout?? Ugh... It's really too bad, because this place had the potential to be great. If only, as Robb said, they chose a better location to build it in the first place. I really can't see it lasting until the end of August, unless they do something huge before then - which, with the way the economy is right now, I don't see happening. -

Those wheel-off-the-track shots are epic. I need me some IB fun, and soon. -

^^Maverick's supports began arriving at Breaker's Express in May '06, about the same time relative to it's opening as these supports are arriving. So, no, I don't think it's too early for these to arrive. -
For the slide selection in Soak City, I honestly don't see how they can justify charging a separate admission price, let alone a price as steep as it is. None of the slides are really all that great, and they're all old. Renegade River is fun, but that's about the best thing they have. I would absolutely pass on it and get extra rides on the coasters, or some of the flats you otherwise wouldn't have time to ride. Besides, you said you were staying at Breakers - if you need a cool-off, just hit the pool at the hotel. It's about the same thrill- and fun-factor, and it's free.

MiA got Thunderhawk last year, which may not be a great addition in our eyes, but it's a huge addition for the park and the surrounding area. CGA was supposed to get a huge GCI woodie a few years ago, but the local businesses got their undies in a bunch about tat, as did the city council with that fiasco trying to get the new football stadium installed. -

I saw this and immediately thought of this thread. Notice the giant spiders and their region down under. -
Very nice pictures. Best seat on Magnum is definitely 1-3. If you haven't tried it, you should.

While it is a shame that they sold out with all the ads, it is nice to hear that the operations were fantastic. -
Who knew there were so many videos of transfer tracks? It's like that rare, you-only-see-it-once-a-day coaster porn.

Class of '06 here. Congrats to all you graduating this year. My brother has his high school graduation tonight (right now, in fact), and I'd be there if it we're for school and work an hour away from home. Those of you going to college, get excited, 'cause it's really the best time of your life. You'll meet plenty of new people and get to have a lot of fun. Remember, it's your last few years before the real world, so make it count.
