Kinda sounds like what happened on Raging Wolf Bobs a few weeks before GL was closed for good. Except that RWB derailed on the first car. I'm wondering where on the track it ended up coming to a rest? Did the derailing slow it down on a hill and the train rolled back down to the valley, or something else? Whatever happened, its good to hear that its back up and running - kudos to maintenance for getting it fixed quickly.

I think they're both hilarious sites. My favorite FML ever was something like this: And yes, it was a female who put that on there.

TweePR: The Official TPR Twitter Account

To send answers to TPR (or anyone on Twitter), begin your message with "@ThemeParkReview" (or the Twitter name of your replyee). I second Robb with the "e-mail Dan" stuff, as well as the TwitPic photo caption contests. -

I was under the impression that that layout posted 2 pages ago was just someone's interpretation of the layout, nothing official. I wouldn't be surprised to see that as the layout, but I wouldn't jump to any conclusions until we see some more definitive work in the area. KBF's Silver Bullet is red and orange, so it wouldn't be a first for CF. -

Looking better and better. Looks like you've got yourself a winner here. And I must say, the money shot had me LOL-ing. -
Maybe its just me, but stand-up drop towers just look too painful to be enjoyable (especially for guys). And the concept for that B&M Invert looks a little like Talon. Should be interesting.

^Glad to hear it worked. I took my first trip to a park in nearly 2 years today. It was a good time, but I did find myself with a little bit of motion sickness after the rides. It may have been a combination of no sleep last night, too much sugar and caffeine this morning, not enough food in the system, the heat, and the fact that I haven't been on a ride in 2 years ( ), but hopefully it isn't something worse. My next trip I'll bring some Dramamine with me and see if it helps - and I'll try to get some sleep the night before.

Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

I believe the Eurobungee has already been removed. I was at the park today, but I didn't venture that far down Coney Mall to be sure. But I don't recall seeing from the Eiffel Tower. And no, I didn't see anything different with SoB. both trains are still on the transfer/storage track, the "CLOSED" sign is still across the queue entrance, and Red Bench: The Ride is still blocking the exit bridge. Hell, from what I saw today, RB:TR has gotten more ridership than SoB lately. Oh, and I didn't notice any inspectors or official-type people milling around the ride, which is what I would assume would take place during the state inspection. However, that might just have to do with it being the 4th of July weekend. -
Photo TR: A trip to Cedar Point 09
DiSab replied to coasterfreaksrttd's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Because B&M is evil. (Sorry, I have a bit of a sore spot for them after my trip to KI today). For having a "crappy camera," you have a number of great shots in there. And the captions were awesome. Great PTR - looks like you had a good time. Did you get the chance to ride TTD? -
One thing I'm curious about (and have been for a while) - why is Hydra one of the worst Floorless models? Nearly everything I've heard about it is that people don't like it. Personally, it's intrigued me, as it seems to have a very unique layout. I've never ridden a floorless coaster, but to me the only thing I see that can hurt the ride is the fairly short layout. Is there something (or several other things) that I've missed that make it so "bad?"

Sheikra and Kumba Statix
DiSab replied to Jack Rimer's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Yeah, I figured that, but it would be nice if they made it so we don't have to mangle it to make it accurate. -
So I'm watching Belly of the Beast on Spike right now (basically because it's late, I'm bored out of my mind, and I have nothing better to do ). All I can say is wow, its awful. Awful in the hilariously cheesy way.

I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed.
DiSab replied to coasterdude5's topic in Random, Random, Random
When I had mine pulled a few summers ago, I didn't have too many problems. Granted, all 4 had broken above the gumline, so I don't know how it'll go when they have to go into the gums to get to the teeth. I was put under anesthesia during the procedure, which I what I would suggest doing. I personally wouldn't have been able to handle being awake and feeling them inside my mouth and hearing the drills running. But once I woke up afterwards, I was really groggy, slept during the drive home, and again for a while once I got back home. Changing the gauze was a little uncomfortable, but nothing too awful. Just be sure to keep them moist - I didn't have any problems with dry sockets. I did eat only soft foods for the next few days, but there's no such thing as too much chocolate pudding in my book. I don't think there's a whole lot to be worried about. Just follow the instructions your surgeon gives you and you should be fine. -
Sheikra and Kumba Statix
DiSab replied to Jack Rimer's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I agree. It does look kinda odd with the SheiKra trains with 2 extra seats than they should have. But the Kumba trains are sweet. They really look like the real ones. I'm wondering what ride will be the next to get Statix trains...? -

Not that I've heard, and I doubt we'll hear anything big for a while longer yet. Generally when the park pulls out the red bench to block off the line, it means it'll be closed for a while. I could be wrong, but I don't see things changing on SoB for a while. -

What is your favorite pizza chain and one of a kind place?

Chain - Donato's Local chain - Iacano's in Columbus. Absolutely fantastic pizza. -
DiSab is the first part on my last name. Back in my freshman year of high school, one of my teachers, who was friends with my dad, started calling me DiSab, and it stuck within a week. Everyone around the school (aside from my close group of friends) was calling me DiSab, and I've used it as my internet forums screen name since.
