  1. ^I know. I love how he basically faceplants with his hands behind his back. Maybe he's had practice...?
  2. Nope, they're not working for me either. I know they were working earlier, though.
  3. Perfectly executed. Hilarious.
  4. Count me in. It'll be my first contest.
  5. Without a doubt, the best photo caption ever.
  6. Black is not one of our main colors. Unless it is, black should only be used for small details. And even then, use it sparingly. Black unis went out of style about 10 years ago, and this is proof. How they look during the game... Still awful. *Shudder*
  7. ^I would say that's why, similar to what Thorpe and Alton Towers have to do for their taller rides. At least that's the first thing I though of when I saw it. I didn't know that Bon Bon land had the first Eurofighter built. Interesting fact there.
  8. Looks good. BTW, did I spot someone one the raft ride in a Xavier hoodie?? Grr, I won't stand for that!
  9. Nice pics, but that third one is a total mindf**k.
  10. Golden Horse = Chinese Vekoma...?
  11. I need to get me some of those Bon Bon gummi candies or whatever they are. The perfect candy for me. Looking forward to more from over there.
  12. ^Agreed. Hopefully I'll change that soon. Looking forward to more.
  13. I can't talk about my best dreams here, on risk of being banned.
  14. Very cute. Congrats!
  15. Looking good. Can't wait to see more from the trip!
  16. I actually don't mind a lot of trash cans. More trash cans usually means fewer overflowing trash cans, so it can't be that bad. Good TR. Lots of nice pictures, that's one park I would really like to visit soon. I'm honestly surprised I haven't been yet, given I've been to Chicago several times.
  17. El Toro looks awesome. As does that new Gerstlauer flat. I love how he got 30-something more inversions as the tower was lowering back down. Hopefully one of those will make it's way to the States soon.
  18. I'm not that much of a credit whore either, but like you said, the ides of getting to a park I haven't been to is always appealing. If I were you, I would probably go to SFKK early the first day, leave around noon or 1 (or whenever you've ridden everything you want to) and stay at HW the rest of the time. A day and a half, like I'm sure you know, is plenty of time at HW, with time to get to the water park for a few hours if its warm enough.
  19. The entire lift?! I thought it was just that top part that was missing the anti-rollbacks. Guess not.
  20. Looking good. However, looking at those trains, I can't help but think that the windshield on them will end up TTD'd at some point...
  21. No, no, you're doing it wrong. is how you do it.
  22. Huh, I wasn't aware there could be "just enough" jackhammering for it to be fun. in my book, any amount of jackhammering is not enjoyable.
  23. ^^Agreed. Amazing post. I can't tell if it's just the angle, but does Tidal Force's splash actually reach the Fahrenheit track?
  24. I don't know how other Eurofighters age, but if Mystery Mine has gotten rough in, what, two years, that's not good. Steel coasters shouldn't start showing their age for at least 7 or 8 years, and that's probably still a little quick for some rides. It's not good if it's already getting rough...
  25. One thing I've wondered is if the park considers V2 to have an inversion. Because it definitely does by the standard definition. And if they do, I wonder why they don't advertise it as the only impulse with an inversion (unless they do - I've never been to the park to know for myself). Nice shots, by the way. It's always interesting to see parks and rides under construction from years ago.
