La Ronde Discussion Thread
ParkTrips replied to Skyscraper's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Remember, the PMW kid's parents originally said they wouldn't sue Six Flags for their kids dumb action.. but they did Can we file this in the "OTSR" thread? To laugh at those who say they are necessary -

There are tons of ways to prevent pregnancy - condoms, pills, IUDs, sheepskins, abortions, withdrawal etc etc abstinence isn't the only way

Obviously the dude wants some pussy. Not everyone wants to "save it", so its perfectly normal for a 19 year old dude to be pissed he's still a virgin. Not sure I agree with him, but I sure as hell don't agree with saving it because some book says so, even if its admirable these days. Let him lust over sex and you maintain your self-righteous ways and both try to be happy

As someone who spent a ton of time traveling starting right after I graduated high school (a week after my 18th birthday), I honestly can't remember ever being denied a hotel because of my age - and I probably spent a good of 50-60 nights in hotels between the ages of 18 and 21, taking trips all over the east and Midwestern US. In fact, I think there were only 2 or 3 times where I was even asked for my ID, and I am hardly mature looking (some 16-year-olds look older than me!). Yes, there ARE some that require you to be 21 (Universal Orlando's resort comes to mind) but you can always find an alternative. And Americans love road trips, and that feeling is especially ripe in the college years. As for the original question, Orlando. Great local parks and access to flights that go nearly anywhere.

It looks like my kind of ride, that's why I ask. Plus, you didn't note any beer, so I'll have to be content with schnitzel and the rides Thanks Larry -

huh no one was hurt in 1997 when Sicorro did just that http://users.elis.ugent.be/~lvertvel/accident.jpg I think this is the real reason. -
^ Next up: prove they can make it work together. As said before, the same people who would criticize Lebron for passing off on key shots in the past are the ones now saying there will eventually be trouble. They need to be proven wrong.

How about this.. *I* still get a ballot, and haven't sent one back in a couple years I'll vote for Cowabunga Splash! Unfortunately, since they switched to a check box ballot (they used to be all write-in, right?), I think you're pretty much screwed out of winning if you're not one of the choices already listed -

The "fans" down here don't help, either. Unless bron or the Lakers are in town, they never sell out. Hell, they can't even sell out playoff tickets half the time. This city is a joke when it comes to supporting our professional teams year-round.

To discuss news and opinions, not answer simple fact questions which you can get answered nearly infinitely quicker than posting a question on a message board in the middle of the night. I'd think most people rather get the answer now, and not wait for a reply. Unless you just wanted to bump your trip report to the top. Then I'd understand I'd actually look on rcdb first, but there isn't a snazzy let-me-rcdb-that-for-you site. And yes, Corkscrew was first, if google didn't help -

When will you get over your infatuation with TPDave? oh, and we only want to see pics of you without sleeves, duh -
Totally off topic, but hopefully that will change in 2 years.
