  1. The Miley Cyrus song Party in the USA. . I dont know why but that song's happy lil beat always makes me wanna sing out with her.
  2. I LOVE Glee!! That show is so amazing, but thats coming from a choir geek. . . I miss choir so much, no that I'm not in school at the moment. Watching Glee just brings back happy memories.
  3. Hehe, I loved all the pics!! Makes it so enticing to buy one. . . . I couldn't fight the urge, so. . . I just ordered my magical hoodie.
  4. Yeah I was really shocked to see that SFKK was removing Chang. I have never been to SFKK before, but it seemed like their only real "stand-out" coaster. I hope the waterpark expansion helps the park out more. Maybe this is secretly Six Flags' way of trying to get rid of the park. However, it will be interesting to see where it ends up next. I agree that both SFStL and SFA do seem like good choices for the relocation. Time will tell I guess.
  5. I'm an Arrow fanboy at heart so naturally, I chose Vekoma. The majority of the Vekoma coasters that I have ridden were rough whereas the Arrow coasters I've ridden were bearable. Granted I've only ridden a handful of rides from each company. However you really have to see past the roughness of their rides, and into what both companies truly are and the unique innovations & characteristics both have attributed to the coaster industry. I hope that kind of makes sense. I have nothing against either company, but Vekoma coasters are noticably more rough to me and hopefully we'll see them do greater & smooother new rides in the future.
  6. I'm so glad I made a special trip out to BGE 2 weeks ago to ride the wolf. I'll miss this ride, the 8-9 rides I had on it were so freaking amazing!! My very last ride on BBW was in the backseat! And I agree the ride was insane in the back seat! I'm so sad to see such a great ride go.
  7. ^All of the above . But these shows are entertaining to watch nonetheless. I watched the first 20 minutes of it. Shows like these are just "okay". I think I've grown outta them.
  8. I'm liking the layout and stats for the ride. The theme is kind of cheesy, but I told a coworker of mine who's a die-hard nascar fan and she thought it sounded cool. I'm glad that we're getting another Intamin Giga coaster in the US or the World even. I agree the East Coast is lucky, looks to be a very fun and exciting ride. I would love to have this closer to home. I thought the 90 mph turn looked very intense, but I'm sure its designed wide enough to equilize the forces. I agree that 90 degrees would have been better on the turn, but what can you do . I'm definitely liking what I've seen so far.
  9. Awww this was such fun!! Yeah somehow I didnt see this update either. I'm loving the pics from the sky scraper, that was such a fun ride and long cycle for my first time. I thought our ride was never going to stop. Brings back alot of good memories. Great pics Jason!
  10. Thanks for the Photo TR of the soft opening, it was really good! Looks like a good addition to Universal Studios. I'm sure the GP will absolutely adore it. I look forward to riding it next time I'm in Orlando. Liked the questionaire too, hopefully you gave them the rave reviews they were looking for. It'll be interesting to see how the ride videos that guests can purchase turn out.
  11. I'm making a weekend trip to BGE in 2 weeks!! It'll be epic!
  12. Yeah, I dont mind if people are screaming, as long as they have a reason. Nobody likes an obnoxious screamer. Like many people have said, it helps add to the atmosphere. I myself am more of a "whoo" guy. I enjoy my ride experience and I vocalize that. First time I rode Thunderhead at Dollywood I was laughing hysterically and "whoo"-ing from start to finish. It was a good time. I only scream on drop towers and "big anxiety inducing" coasters that I'm riding for the first time and not knowing what to expect.
  13. Great TR! Looks like you and Big Mike had a great time. That coaster at the Schnepf Farms looked really cool, never ridden it, or even heard of it until now. Gotta love all the excitement of living in AZ. I wish we had a great park to offer, but oh well at least LA isnt too far away.
  14. I'm excited to see a new B&M coaster at Carowinds. Their skyline could really use it, I remember it was kind of small and lacking when we were there for Deep South. We kept joking the place was a vekoma showcase minus an SLC. However it a great park, I'd go back in the future for a B&M hyper. Can't wait til Aug 26th so we can find out more.
  15. Great photo TR Jason!! I'm glad that you and Kerry crashed the trip for a few days. It was so great meeting the two of you and hanging out. You were both alot of fun, and I look forward to meeting more on future trips. I'll always remember riding my first "sky-scraper of death" at that random speedpark in Pigeon Forge and ditching Nascar Speedpark to go Zorbing. I'm still having TPR trip withdrawls, I guess your first time really is magical.
  16. What i think I miss most is the crazy night in the hotel lobby right before Lake Winnie. That was a really good time; theme parks, roller coasters, and squeegees.
  17. Wow, this update brings back alot of good memories! Lake Winnie was such a nice little park. I still remember the Boat Chute and how much fun the 4 of us had making farting noises thru the tunnel, haha good times. I love the video of Cannonball, especially how me and Jay are in the reverse POV. Fun ride. I definitely miss all the fun I had on the Deep South Trip and I'm looking forward to more trips in the future.
  18. Well since I was on the Deep South tour, I'd say that coaster at Zuma's was by far the worst I've ever done. That was definitely my low point.
  19. ^I agree. Around here if we got an F1 tornado, it'd be a huge deal too. However we do get dust devils, those are kinda like a mini-tornado but not really.
  20. I've only been on 3 B&M stand-ups. And Riddler's Revenge is by far my favorite however Georgia Scorcher was pretty amazing and that comes very close in 2nd. I also rode the Vortex at Carowinds and wasn't too impressed, however it wasn't as rough as I was expecting it to be after all the horror stories i've heard. It had a decent layout, but nothing mind blowing.
  21. Does anyone think its crazy for me to take a random weekend trip out to the park so I can get my credit before it closes? I'm really considering this, It'll only cost around $500. However I dont want to do it alone.
  22. I'm really sad to see BBW go. It was one of the coasters that just fascinated me when I was becoming an enthusiast many years ago, sad thing is I've never gotten my credit on it. I'm already looking into planning a quick weekend journey out to BGE to get my ride before it closes.
  23. I had such an amazing time at Dollywood. It's such a beautiful park and offers so much to see and do. I didn't experience everything Dollywood had to offer during the 2 days we were there. The food was absolutely amazing and Thunderhead is easily my #1 wood coaster. I would love to go back to this park. I was also surprised as to how cheap the Q2Q system was compared to Six Flags.
  24. YES!! I actually ate Arby's for lunch. Have u ever played the Sims 3?
  25. ^So you actually liked Bruno? Or is that just sarcasm? Haha. I was thinking about going to see it tomorrow night. It looks pretty damn funny. On another note I just saw Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince tonight. It was good but there were a few parts I was a little disappointed with.
