  1. I've only been on 7 wooden roller coasters but the best first drop would be Balder at Liseburg, followed by the Gwazi drops at Busch Gardens Africa, then Cyclone at SFoG.
  2. ^^ Well, if you put it that way then I'll change my vote to photo #5.
  3. I'm going to have to join the bandwagon and go with #8 also. Love your expression Robb.
  4. Question, is there a way to make the pictures I post smaller? Because the pictures I post are massive and it's really annoying to look at a picture that fills more than the entire screen.
  5. Is Lego Rocket Racers a 3D show? I was there in early June but only had 2 hours there. So all I rode were the 3 coasters, Fire Academy, and Laser Raiders. Being that this is the first Lego Land I've ever been to, I was pretty disappointed that I didn't really get to enjoy the park. But at least I got the credits.
  6. So it seems that the manager on duty was at a restaurant that night but having the manager off site is a common thing. 7. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the aquarium. When did you guys go? It's been so long since I've been to the World of Coke. I need to go because the last time I went there was when it was at their old location.
  8. Last time I was at London, I think around the beginning of June, Burger King was offering 50% off tickets to Alton Towers, Lego Land, Thorpe Park, and other attractions only if you buy an adult meal. And the round trip bus tickets for the park is 3 pounds. Also you might want to consider going to Lego Land because the Burger King discount covers that too. It took me 2 hours to get there from Gloucester Road. Also note that getting to the park from Waterloo takes about a hour and twenty or thirty minutes.
  9. I remember taking my grandfather who was in his eighty's on the log flume ride and I was really worried about him but he insisted that he wanted to go on the ride. So during the ride, everything was fine, and after we went over the main drop, I looked back and the first thing my grandfather said was "My watch got wet." He was wearing a Rolex and we all laughed because we were expecting something like "Wow that drop was awesome!" But all we got was "My watch got wet."
  10. Ya, I rode Balder for the first time this summer and it was pure bliss! But sadly, I had 1 and a half hours at the park because my cruse ship left at 4 o'clock. Luckily I got all of my coaster credits within that time period but I was sad that I couldn't really experience the park.
  11. I'm not sure this is a rare credit or not but I've been on a coaster called Screaming Condor at Leofoo Village Theme Park, in Taiwan. I rode it a long time ago and I always thought that this coaster was somewhere in China but according to RCDB.com, it's in Taiwan. http://rcdb.com/id1494.htm Oh and I have also been on Pteranodon Flyers when I was small enough to do it.
  12. So far, I've been to: Sea World Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Liseberg, Grona Lund, Tivoli Gardens, Legoland Windsor, and Thorpe Park
  13. The Peak is pretty cool, or you can always go to the world's biggest Buddha statue. And the two theme parks of course.
  14. Saw: The Ride at Thorpe Park. Everything about it was awesome, even the line! But the only down side was that after waiting two hours, the ride broke down and they had to evacuate the line.
  15. ^ Agreed. But the experience of riding a coaster before it is technically open is awesome.
  16. Last coaster I rode was Hulk front row yesterday. Today it'll be BTMR and for tomorrow, it'll be Mummy.
  17. I remember when that happened. My friend and I were walking toward Manta when we heard over the loud speaker that Manta was temporarily closed. So we turned around and headed toward Kraken. Overall, we rode Manta 5 or 6 times and I started to get a headache after going on the pretzel-loop that many times. But like everyone says, the front of the train is more scenic, so you can see the awesome themeing, and the back is more intense, especially on the pretzel-loop. The only other flier I've been on is S:UF at SFoG and Batwing at SF over America and Manta beats both of them.
  18. My first coaster of the 09 season will either be Kraken or Manta, and I would be riding them tomorrow!!!!!!!
  19. You know the main reason I really want to ride this is because of the awesome line. But don't get me wrong, I can't wait to experience my second flier.(I can't wait till Sunday to ride this thing!)
  20. The only hang time I remember and like is at the end of Mystery Mine at Dollywood. That thing was awesome. I even got my dad to ride it and he loved it. My dad used to love coasters when he was younger but now he doesn't ride at all. So it was awesome seeing him laugh on the 95 degree drop and the hang time at the end of the ride.
  21. I love going to Clingman's Dome every time I go to Gatlinburg and Dollywood. That place is awesome and the view is awesome if it is not cloudy.
  22. Ya, usually Six Flags parks starts handing out tickets if the rides stay closed for 60 consecutive minutes. At least, that's what they do at White Water.
