2005 K'nex Christmas Coaster
Nrthwnd replied to DegoRed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The starter framework is looking nice there. It does look surprising to me that you'll be able to actually fit a tree in there, lol. Lookin' good awright! -
OMG  We have for the first time I can remember on this site, 1 'Hidden user' right now, somewhere here, drifting thru the boards and postings.

And I am just bumping this up, to show it's already got a posting here.

Not to pop your Bunnies Theater Bubble, but it's already a thread on the next page of postings here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20614 (I enjoy Rocky Horror, myself, heh heh heh)

Sounded to me, like it was an original school play/musical of some kind. Yes, BiCoastal? No? Is it something already written from Broadway, or a movie turned into a play? Or is it based on a book? Still curious. Me, too.

^ A few of us already chatted a bit about "the above" here, earlier in chatroom. So... Joe, you're fine. You don't like it or what the word defines in your head. That's okay. We don't like what heterosexuality means in our heads (or most of our heads), too. And that's that, k?

Yay.

Since I have this 'thing' about the number 3 (and it's derivatives,multiples)... well, let's just say you and Karen going for either #3 or #6 feels to be a good bet to me. I think having some back yard space is definitely important for full family privacy, and good private party space as well, lol. Will post some of our own back yard with the hot tub and fern forest, one of these months. (o: And a bit of private forest gives Gavin a place to imagine and play with a more green space - and as well in those backyards, you can build him a playfort, treehouse, pirate ship..... 8)

Welcome to Show Bizzzzzzzzz! My sympathies. I blocked out whatever the hell school crap I was put thru in 'dramatic arts.' Eh. Somehow tho, I managed to get myself into doing backstage work? And props? That way, I didn't have to be onstage at all, since there was enough non-talented prima donnas (and some of the girls, too!) to go around with all the parts being played. 'Nough from me. Well, muddle thru as best as you see fit. Then bitch and complain if they can't even see you tried to do... something, right?

Of course, I prefer Christmas music as it should be heard. As music. Full orchestras, some jazz versions, some rock versions, too. Songs with singing, tho.... I am not too kean on most of that. Even choral stuff can get me feeling icky. But orchestrated classic carols and pop songs are nice, when they're done well. IMhO.

^ No, I have heard aboslutely nothing about how a storyline (if any) would be used for DLP's Tower of Terror. And that goes for the 'look' of the building too. All very hush hush. Not a peep from anybody? Hey, that's nice for a change! An actual 'mystery' to go with the building of this one. Great, heh heh! Seriously, I bet they'll eventually do a press release when everything looks more visual (and taller) of it all. Maybe next spring, in fact. Nice to think it might actually have a totally different look to it, tho. Wouldn't that be great? -
I have an original (and used/folded/unfolded/taped) 1962 Disneyland map, with all the "Future Attractions" there, beautifully drawn (Pirates, Mansion, Edison Square, Hall of Presidents)... framed up on a guest room wall. Will work on getting a pic done and posted here for all to see, with closeups on various parts of it. I also have most of the poster pins that were released back in 2003, up on the top of it, balanced just nicely, for DLR's 50th.

Wow - those are really some nice photos taken of you. Really. I mean it. Very well focussed and I mean... Wow. Did you take them all yourself, self-timed, or others take them? It's really a good concise selection of 'moods' for a good photo resume to use, for yourself. Well done! (Not sure if "bathroom/powder room shots" are your best, um, 'strength' tho... Post #800!)

HAPPY ST. NICHOLAS DAY... To all of our coaster friends in parts of Europe, who celebrate this day where they reside. Best Wishes for all - and a Merry Solstice to come! -
OMG. The way the Candian dollar is slowly coming up and up on the American dollar, we may indeed hit 89 cents before 2006... That is totally incredible, when those of us who get stuck with exchange rates know that Canada hasn't gained parity with the US dollar for, well, decades! Anyway, I just realized that the UK Trip is now NOT going to cost me as much as originally thought out, and planned for....

Rant, rant, rant. But, I do agree. Makes me queasy, every time the burger stacks go over (ick) two patties. Bleah.

LOLOL. Yeah, I would think a bit about it, then say, "thanks but.... nah." But I would think about it. Just 'a bit'. -

Great TR there. You looked like you certainly hit a lot of spots both at the parks and on the property itself. -
Mmmmmm. Our cat Camille's appetizers! Kid-ding. They look adorable. And furry. Like slippers.
