  1. Mmmmmm... Waffles dipped into lentil soup - In a drywall bowl - Served by French Canadian Acrobats - Can it get any better that THIS??? (And believe it or not - I ain't been smokin' nuthin' here...)
  2. Great Coaster Skyline Shot there. I almost missed the 6/7th one there, but found it/them before it was 'circled', heh heh.
  3. I move to my second host in London, from here in Southend-On-Sea, tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon... And have tix to see both "Avenue Q" (starting previews) and "Mary Poppins" (a year into it's current run) in the West End this week, before the TPR Tour starts up...
  4. You should probably avoid heels, then!
  5. My guess, is that they'll keep the ride vehicles "under wraps" until they can sneak them into the maintenance building (between the show building and the costumes bldg. there beside the lift hill?). And even when they start testing the ride out, you won't see much of the front facade with the exposed "first dip" there, since the set up construction walls kind of 'angularly block' a direct look at it, hmmm? But then again - knowing all of you there who'll work at finding out, and taking pix of, what the 'turtles' look like, I'm sure you'll do your best, for all of us interested TurtleTwister Fans, heh heh.
  6. Thanks for sharing your TR and photos. They all look like great coasters to ride. Can't really (still) believe I'll be riding them in just over a couple of weeks from now. Along with "a few others I sort-of know"...
  7. Ohhhhhhh - the dark ride! Yes, we went on that immediately after riding Green Machine. It was fun, altho I was sort-of half expecting a bit of a coaster ride inside there, since we had to walk upstairs (and then downstairs)to get to the loading station, and then it climbed uphill inside the ride itself... Dark rides and stuff indoors with black light is great, if it's done well. And BBs was pretty good, I must say. Didn't get the "onride photo", tho. Too dorky-looking, we were, heh heh. If I knew it was being taken with that GUST OF AIR I would have prepared for it better, lol. And yeah, I agree about what ride ops tell you, and what then actually happens. But the person was friendly in giving me some kind of response, so I appreciated that, even if the information might not be too accurate, etc.
  8. And this is where proper spelling becomes very important to the topic sometimes, hmmm?
  9. During these past few days at the start of my UK trip and tour, I've been waking up 'naturally' around... 0500!
  10. heya - Did Island last evening. And asked one of the ops about removal of the flume for the coaster installation... They told me the flume wasn't going to be removed until after the summer season. Then, they'd take it out in the late fall and start installing the new coaster. ~ ~ ~ ~ The park was fun, and it was true about lineups there on Thurs. night. Nothing to really deal with much, except for the drop ride, which I didn't do anyway, heh heh. I think the couple of hours we spent there made the 10ÂŁ per person (1/2 price after 1800) a bit easier to take, heh heh. Couldn't imagine spending nearly 20ÂŁ for a whole day there, tho. Not really enough to keep me happy for all that time, etc. IMhO. So the "after 6pm" time spent there was enough... (Edit: Sorry, totally forgot about the Bleezy Bob Trails, Martyn. Actually I don't think I even saw any signs alluding to such a thing. What was that, exactly? Maybe next visit, heh heh.)
  11. You have to hand it to Disney for taking coasters' themeings to new and interesting levels, hmmm? Mmmm. Less than a year to go for this beauty.
  12. ^ You should probably get him a "Souvenir Queen's Mini-Purse" on the UK Tour, if they make such a thing for tourists. Of course they don't... yesssss? Congrats on making it to the Top 26, Paul! GO - CANADA - GO
  13. No Do you know what "Fractured Fairy Tales" is from?
  14. The Canadian Dollar just 'closed'... ... at 90.04 cents US.
  15. Great TR! I do love trains from time to time. We had a wonderful exhibit of full size engines and cars back at EXPO 86, our world's fair 'way back when.' It was wonderful just getting up close to them, seeing how amazingly individual each one was. Such is the way good stuff triggers 'retro flashbacks,' which are good also, LOL. This is a wonderful 'tour' you've shown us. Thanks for sharing the great pix!
  16. Oooohhhhhhh poop. Back to Donkeys, huh? Ah well. Was nice to see the word Canadian so nice and BIG! (It's a cheap unadulterated pride thang, lol)
  17. Nice Photo TRs, Guy. Random nostalgia for seeing your pic of the Shubert Theater, Broadway. I saw my first-ever Broadway Musical there: A Chorus Line In March of 1976. With the original cast. Before the TONYs Sweep over (choke) "Chicago," and "Pacific Overtures." And my first-ever visit to NYC, too... Sorry to see a lot of your 'touring around' (i.e.Cyclone closed? lost?) kinda sucked. But I think you did admirably caption-wise, if only for your own amusement, let alone ours, lol.
  18. OMG I forgot that they hire hippies at Universal! (see parking attendant below) Nice photo update Tom. See you in June! Something Disney still doesn't allow - facial fuzz on their 'cast members.' What-ever.
  19. That's wierd. And I don't feel sleepy one bit.
  20. Random synergy - A week after I get back from the TPR UK Tour, me and my David go and see Cirque du Soleil and their current tour of VAREKAI. French Candian Acrobats, huh? Hmmm. That fits.
  21. Time of Life Green Day
  22. I think there should now be a hot steaming Bowl of Lentil Soup on the back of the TPR hoodies..... Representin' that warm, toasty 'down homey' kinda coaster goodness!
  23. .... or she's um.......how should I put this delicately?....... ~ ~ ~ Actually I was envisioning A Bowl - Covered in Drywall - Filled with Lentil Soup - And a DONKEY swimming in it! Catchy, huh?
  24. Wore my TPR hoodie this afternoon to Playland, my home park. Was pretty happy with it, having never worn (or even owned) one of these things before. Kept me nice and toasty in the cool of a slightly windy and overcast afternoon there.
