  1. Best thing for me in 2006 was easily the TPR UK Tour last June. Easy. Rest of the year, before and after tour was 'meh' to me, although I did manage to lose nearly 30 lb of last winter's weight 'gain' by way of our new exercise indoor bicycle, heh heh.
  2. The 'exercise wheel' must be an AWESOME SIZE!
  3. One more week... and five days. A guarded
  4. I thought that since they are working in, around, behind and through Screamin' in DCA (oops - pardon - Rockin'!) and the old Millionaire Bldg. at WDW/Studios is just a 'normaly shaped' building, it 'might' make for two different versions of entrances and queueing setups... Main ride itself could probably be the same in both, hmmm?
  5. * * * * DreamGirls 8/10 'Chicago' was better for my movie musical $$$. I also saw the original New York Broadway original cast in December of 1982 with all the cast mainly still in it. So I already knew what the film makers were up against in doing this type of film. And what has to be changed and/or added to improve plot and storyline. I think they did really well, but it still missed 'something,' even though Hudson and Murphy are Two Excellent Reasons to see it, alone. Filming and effects are good, excellent period placement with costuming and design, too. Top notch. But... Still not sure about getting the Soundtrack, yet. I still enjoy the Live 2001 Full Script/Score recording of the musical. Hard to beat that one, too.
  6. Three tours a year'll do it to ya....
  7. ^ So now KidTum's cage and accessories will rest there, hmmm? (Edit: I miss RatTums too. )
  8. One more week.
  9. ^ Thanks anyway. I intend to take the park hopper passes along, get over to the Customer Service desk there at the right of the park's entrance... and find out. Here's where I can find out.... before I head into the park.
  10. ~ ~ ~ "The Ranty Robb Show!"
  11. Shouldn't this thread be closed - now that the 'subject of focus' is now uh, no longer amongst us, anymore? Just an observe.
  12. Charla & Mirna.
  13. Nope. Canada's "Water" will win for sure. Do you watch the Academy Awards?
  14. ^ Oh well. And I must ask you - is it also true that you can ONLY use a one-day passport as partial payment to pay for an Annual Passport like the Fantasy or Dream Passports? I have one day's entry left on three separate park-hopper passes. One is a two-day pass. The other two are old three-day passes. All of the passes are still good till mid-October. I thought I could use one of these as part of my payment in getting an Annual Fantasy Passport... but no? If I can't use either of them, I will still buy an Annual Pass as after three visits to the parks, it has paid for itself, lol. Thought I'd ask, since you (^) live right there by the parks, yes? (EDIT: Post #3053! It's a random numbers things with me, lol.)
  15. If it is true, I definitely intend to "try it out" one of the days I am at the park.
  16. Nope. Have you ever burped, accidentally?
  17. Word I have read is, you still cannot get a second immediate FastPass from same attraction machine after getting one already. With the same passport. But - you CAN go around to all of the attractions in the park that offer FastPass, take your chance at getting good (and separate) times and you've got them all - or at least the ones you want to get. And use. They have got them all working individually from each other, from what I make out. So it's just a matter of every machine spitting out it's 'share' of time passes per hour, etc. untill it runs out of "times" lol. S0eparately. All a question of timing, with each attraction's FastPass machine you get to, etc. hmm?
  18. That's wonderful about the ZZ being relocated! I thought that once it had been taken down at Worlds of Fun... that was it. But I got to ride ZZ back in 1995 just as the summer season was starting up, in the midwest parks. It was one of my (then) coaster dreams to ride that one, eventually. And - I did! Looks great with all that tropical vegitation in and around the supports and tracks. Yes - more photos if you have them! Thanks for sharing these.
  19. hey guys! Hope you have a great visit there. Me and David will be there in April. I am planning to get myself a Fantasy Annual Pass which more than covers a three days+ visit for myself... But three days is fine for an all-over visit with the resort. Do a full day with the Magic Kingdom first. Take advantage of the FastPass system. You can now, I have been told, just go around the park to all the fast pass stations at attractions, and use your entrance card for whatever times are (then) available. Up to you if you plan to use them, etc. Then, start the second day at the Studios, and if you start there at opening time, go with 'AniMagique' (to your left as you exit the Main Stage 1 entrance bldg.). You can immediately follow it by hitting the 'Cinemagique' show, if the schedules work it right like when we've been before. One easily follws the other with little time waiting to be seated and the show started. After Cinemagique, you are probably ready for the first Moteurs! Action! Stunt show to be running that day. After the 3 shows, you then work your way back, towards the Studio Tram Tour with Rock'n'Roller Coaster, Armaggedon Spec.EffX show, and the Animation show. Or only the coaster if that's only what you want. Do the tram tour, pick your "Language Aisle" heh heh... and you're done! Bonus Points for ya if you go on the Flying Carpets after that, as you'll get a nice "preview" of how the new Toon Studios is looking, from the ride itself if you stay 'high' up there, heh heh. Fit eating in where and when you can. And if you are in a park hopper kinda 'mood', you will probably end your day at the studios with a few hours to spare for the MK again, if you want to revisit, same day, etc. Third day could be a combo of both parks, but getting back to stuff you missed, want to do again. And throwing in a balloon ride there at Lake Disney hmmm? PanoraMagique? Think that's what it's called. 12 Euros each for a six minute ride 'up there' I think it is costing now. If you want to do "The Legend of The Lion King" show in Discoveryland, you will end up using more park time for this than you might want to use - and might not be worth your while this visit 'round. Remember, it's a condensed version of the movie, and not really the Broadway show, although costumes and effects, as well as the whole show itself, are supposed to be great. (we're going to try and catch it this visit 'round, lol) But then again - this 'package' deal you're getting may include a perk at getting tix easier than us "civvies" who bypass the package format, lol. There are now "Magic Mornings & Evenings" being offered (two extra hours' visit either before opening or after closing of...) some days of the week to those who are staying at the hotels etc. So derfinitely take advantage of that, if you get it which you probably will, depending on the days you are staying there. Hope some or any of this helps you out. Again, hope you enjoy the parks. And NOT just for the coasters either, LOLOL!
  20. ^ 'Course you did. It's expected, right? I 'heard' about what was coming up for Valencia in "24" - and my immediate thought was.... are The Alveys leaving another forwarding address??? I just laughed. Out loud, suddenly. Doesn't happen that often to me. And that's what happens to SFMM when they 'think' about tearing down Psyclone and Flashback....finally.
  21. A lettuce knife. Ah well, things we need and can't be without, in our (current) life, hmm? Congrats to the future married couple, BB&B aside, heh heh.
  22. The concept art for a "new Disney Theme Park" seems to up the ante on Universal's IOA, actually separating themed areas, but still linking them to a water sourse, in this case a (apparent) running river... Interesting.
  23. Yes. Have you ever stopped a fight - - - safely?
  24. ^^ Thanks for the reminder 'bout the shipping out of country charge. I just e-checked the amount (for the two shirts) to Robb's @aol account, as advised. Hmmm. Maybe turn them into TPR pillows.......
  25. West End Town. Pet Shop Boys.
